12, Qi Tunyan, Chu Annihilation, Zhao Fa Zhongshan's revelation
History is interesting because it is vivid. So, history doesn't have to be boring. Looking at history from a different perspective will allow you to experience a different life.
Today, I won't update the next chapter of "The Legend of the Heroes of King Zhao Wuling", but simply talk about the three things that happened during the period of King Zhao Wuling, Qi Tunyan, Chu Annihilation Yue and Zhao Fa Zhongshan, leaving us with those life inspirations.
Qi Tunyan, Chu Annihilated Yue, and was beaten by the Central Plains princes, why did Zhao destroy Zhongshan and not be beaten by the Central Plains princes? In the face of this strange phenomenon, it is really curious and wants to find out. Let's briefly talk about my personal opinion.
Qi and Yan
Following the example of the sages, King Yan decided to hold a Zen concession and unconditionally cede the world of the Yan Kingdom surnamed Ji to the ministers of power. The clan surnamed Ji naturally would not let someone lower than them become their new king. As a result, the ministers of the clan surnamed Ji gathered under the command of Prince Yan and launched a battle for the throne, which was called the Rebellion of the Son.
As the saying goes, the praying mantis catches the cicada and the yellow finch is behind. Zizhi and Prince Yan fought fiercely, and they did not distinguish between victory and defeat, but they shook the foundation of Yan Kingdom.
Qi Xuan Wang Tian Pi saw it, and under the banner of 'Kuang Fu Justice', raised the troops of the five capitals, and united with Zhongshan to attack Yan State. The athletic division of Qi was worthy of being the first team at that time. In less than 60 days, he broke through the Yandu Jicheng. The country of ten thousand times, the country of Wansheng, less than sixty days, there is no ancient, only Qi Xuan Wang Tian Pi is alone.
Qi Xuan Wang Tian Pi annexed Yan Di, with great momentum and shock the Central Plains. Of course, the move of the Qi State and Yan, the princes of the world are afraid of the momentum of the Qi State, and naturally they will not stand idly by, especially King Zhao Wuling.
King Wuling of Zhao did not want to seek Zhao after the annexation of Yan by Qi. So, King Zhao Wuling came up with an idea, that is, to support the son of Yan Proton who was far away in South Korea. King Wuling of Zhao married the daughter of King Xuan of Han as the queen. Han and Zhao have always been one, supporting each other. King Zhao Wuling is also the son-in-law of King Han Xuan. King Wuling of Zhao sent the orchestra pit to Korea, and it is said that King Xuan of Han. For the sake of his own interests and the feelings between Zhao and Han, King Han Xuan will certainly not refuse King Zhao Wuling's opinion.
With the support of Han and Zhao, Gongzi returned to Yan Kingdom. Of course? King Zhao Wuling also raised a loud slogan... Counterinsurgency is driven out.
Gongzi's mother is Yan Yihou. Empress Yan Yi is the eldest daughter of King Qin Hui. Gongzi is also the nephew of Qin Hui Wangsi. The Qin State will not sit idly by and let the Qi State become the strongest and stronger. Because at that time, King Qin Hui was competing with the Chu State. King Hui of Qin ended the war against the state of Chu, and with the great concubine Chang Yingjian as his general, he united Han and Wei to attack Qi in the north. The states of Qin, Han, Wei and Qi fought a decisive battle on the edge of Pushui. In this battle, the Qi country was defeated.
King Wuling of Zhao and Wang Zhi of Yan learned of the defeat of the princes of Qi State, and intensified their counteroffensive against Qi State in Yandi. King Xuan of Qi had to deal with the three kingdoms of Qin, Han, and Wei on the one hand, and he had to face the coalition forces of King Wuling of Zhao and King Yan in Yandi. King Xuan of Qi fought against Han, Zhao, Wei, Yan (Gongzi), and Qin with the strength of a country, and was naturally defeated. In this battle, the Qi State not only injured its vitality, but also gained and lost Yandi.
Qi Xuanwang's move to swallow Yan tells us a truth. Do things slowly and don't rush too much. The praying mantis catches the cicada and the yellow finch is behind. Until the end, you never know if you're a praying mantis, a cicada, or a yellow finch.
Chu extinguished Yue
The three kingdoms of Qi, Yue, and Chu were all countries of ten thousand times, and they were also the overlords of the Spring and Autumn Period. These three countries cooperate with each other and attack each other. However, from the map, these three countries are also a triangular relationship. Since it is a triangle, each angle is sixty degrees. Once a corner is missing, the relationship between mutual constraints and mutual balance will naturally disappear.
King Huai of Chu lost to Qin in the west and also lost a large part of his territory. Han and Wei's friends also took advantage of the fire to rob the Chu State. King Huai of Chu saw that there was a Qin blockade in the west, and it was difficult to advance westward; There are princes of the Central Plains in the north to resist, and it is difficult to move an inch. But King Chu Huai is also a person with great ambitions, so he will naturally not spend the rest of his life ordinarily. Therefore, King Chu Huai set his sights on the Yue Kingdom in the east.
After the Second Central Plains War, King Chu Huai recuperated and accumulated strength; On the other hand, the other side sent a general to investigate the country of Yue and prepare for the destruction of Vietnam. A few years later, King Wujiang of Yue wanted to dominate the princes, so he chose the strongest Qi State as his opponent. King Xuan of Qi lost Yan land and lost to the princes during the Second Central Plains War. His wish was to restore Qi's supremacy in the east, and his goal was also the Central Plains. In the face of the invasion of the Yue Kingdom, King Xuan of Qi dragged the Chu State into the quagmire of war by the way in order to avenge the disaster of the Chu State, so as to establish the hegemony of the East. King Xuan of Qi did not go to war with the Yue Kingdom head-on, and sent envoys to say that the King of Yue had no borders to attack Chu.
King Wujiang of Yue listened to the words of the envoy of Qi and turned to attack Chu.
The State of Chu has long wanted to destroy the State of Yue, but there has been no excuse. Now that the king of Yue has no borders, he is giving the king of Chu Huai a reason to send troops. The three kingdoms of Qi, Chu and Yue entered a period of melee.
However, what was unexpected was that King Chu Huai defeated King Wu Jiang of Yue. The state of Chu defeated the state of Yue in one fell swoop and established Jiangdong County in the land of Wu Yue. The state of Chu conquered the state of Yue, and the middle and lower reaches of the river became the internal river of Chu. The state of Chu is also a giant on the river, eyeing the entire Central Plains princes.
King Xuan of Qi took the opportunity to unite Han and Wei to establish the hegemony of the East. The three kingdoms of Qi, Han, and Wei united to attack Chu three times, which in turn led to the Third Central Plains War. Poor King Chu Huai has to deal with the Central Plains in the north, and Qin in the west. The state of Chu fought against Qi, Qin, Han, and Wei with the strength of one country. In the battle of Chuisha in the east, he was defeated by the three kingdoms of Qi, Han and Wei, and the main general Tang Wu was killed in battle, and he also lost a large amount of territory. In the battle of Chongqiu in the west, he was defeated by the Qin state, and the Chu general Jing Que was killed in battle.
It was lost to the princes of the Central Plains in the east and to the Qin in the north, not to mention the loss of a large amount of territory. The state of Chu also had civil strife and fell into a situation of fragmentation. Chu's dream of becoming a great country has also become fragmented.
King Chu Huai's move to destroy Yue tells us a truth. Sometimes don't swallow a piece of fat in front of you. Maybe what awaits you is not a blessing, but a curse. This piece of fat can't be greatly replenished if you eat it, but it will be poison and will kill you at any time.
Zhao extinguished Zhongshan
When King Wuling of Zhao succeeded to the throne, he first broke the plan of Qi, Qin, Wei, Yan, and Chu, and the funeral of the five kingdoms. Subsequently, he attacked Yan and defended the territory and became famous. But the Battle of Hangu Pass, the Battle of Xiuyu, the Battle of Guanze, Qin's attack on Zhao Xiyang, Zhongdu, Qin's recapture of Zhao Lishi, and Lin Cheng. King Zhao Wuling was defeated in successive battles.
Fortunately, the spirit of the Zhao clan was tenacious, and there was no fighting spirit to defeat and defeat King Zhao Wuling. These painful defeats made King Wuling of Zhao fall into the contemplation of recovering the country and strengthening the army.
As a result, Hufu cavalry and archery became a way for King Wuling of Zhao to find a way to restore the country and strengthen the army.
King Wuling of Zhao promoted Hufu cavalry on one hand, and on the other hand, he took advantage of the melee in the Central Plains to attack Zhongshan. Of course, King Zhao Wuling learned from the experience of King Qi Xuan and King Chu Huai, and did not open his mouth widely, but attacked Zhongshan in a planned and step-by-step manner. King Wuling of Zhao first occupied the fortress Jingcheng in the west of Zhongshan Kingdom, and then raised 300,000 troops to attack Zhongshan, occupying two-thirds of the territory of Zhongshan Kingdom, re-attacking Zhongshan Lingshou, and then attacking Fuliu and so on. King Wuling of Zhao attacked Zhongshan and negotiated peace with it; On the other hand, he also knows how to hide his strength and hide it from the princes of the world.
Under the attack of Zhao State again and again, Zhongshan State continued to lose cities and land, and in the end, it was also the Great Xia general, and there was nothing to be done, and it came to an end. It took more than ten years for Zhao to attack Zhongshan, and finally ate Zhongshan Guo, which had a territory of 800 miles and was known as the eighth most powerful country in the Warring States. However, King Wuling of Zhao conquered Zhongshan, but was not interfered with by the princes, and made great achievements alone.
King Zhao Wuling's move to destroy Zhongshan tells us a truth... The road should not be taken one step, and not too hasty. Don't just learn to walk, you just want to run; It is also necessary to have the spirit of not being afraid of losing and daring to fight tenaciously for the future. Perhaps, the path you are taking now may not be the right one. Even, this path makes you lose sight of light and hope. But you have to have a plan, a step-by-step, a vision, and go ahead with confidence. As the saying goes, God rewards hard work, and God will not let down your every effort.
Well, this is Qi Tunyan, Chu Zhenyue, and Zhao Fazhongshan, giving us a little life enlightenment. Thank you for your support and encouragement from "The Legend of the Heroes of King Zhao Wuling". Due to his limited talent and writing, there is still a lot to be improved. If there are any shortcomings, please bear with me.
