Zhu Youxiao noticed this problem under the reminder of Xu Guangqi and others, in order to prevent the Han people from being constantly subjected to ***, the ministers suggested that the provisions on interracial marriage in the Ming Law be amended, allowing intermarriage within the Hui people, and intermarriage between different ethnic groups shall not force one party to believe in a certain religion.

This rule has been implemented in the interior for more than a year, but the most returned place is in Gansu Town, Shaanxi, so when Huang Ruliang arrived, one of the tasks assigned to him by the imperial court was to promote intermarriage within the Hui clan, and not to force the non-believer to believe in a certain religion.

It is only important to emphasize that religion cannot affect people's daily lives. For example, you can't sell pork in the place where you have returned to live, and you can't even say the word pig, which is something that Zhu Youxiao and the ministers can't tolerate.

Therefore, Huang Ruliang emphasized that the Hui should build the mosque to the place where the Hui live instead of building it on the side of the road, except that pork cannot be sold in the mosque, even outside the mosque, selling pork is a very normal behavior and should not be interfered with by believers.

Huang Ruliang said with a smile: "I heard that your religion taboos pigs, this is your religious habit, and the court will not interfere with you." But your habits must not affect non-believers. It's normal for other people to eat pork and talk about pigs, and you can't stop other people's actions unless you're inside the mosque. Another said: "Whenever someone says that word to us, we will beat him." If anyone dares to sell this meat in our place, we will smash their stalls and see what the Ming people dare to do. ”

Together, we should discuss that the dignity of Allah should not be offended, and that the Kafir must know the strength of our unity. So find an opportunity to teach someone a lesson when they sell pork, and let the Han people know that if they are unhappy to return, the consequences will be serious.

The opportunity soon came, and a new Han butcher set up a meat case in the Han-Hui settlement, and a group of Hui smashed his stall on the pretext of blaspheming Allah. The butcher resisted, stabbed two Hui Hui with a knife, Hui Hui was furious, beat the butcher half to death, and then escorted him to the prefect's yamen, demanding that Huang Ruliang punish this bold butcher.

Huang Ruliang finally waited for this opportunity, and the Ganzhou court had just been established, and it encountered such a case with clear facts and clear laws, so naturally the case was decided without any problems: the Hui Hui compensated the butcher for 1,000 yuan in medical expenses.

The Hui, of course, would not be satisfied with such a verdict, and they surrounded the prefect's yamen, demanding that the butchers who blasphemed Allah and provoke *** be punished, and that the sale of large meat in the vicinity of *** residential areas should be banned in the future.

More than 1,000 people surrounded the prefect's yamen, shouting slogans incessantly, and some people began to throw stones or something. Huang Ruliang trembled in the yamen, but his heart blossomed, and he instructed the scribes in the yamen: "Find a place to hide, and the guards will come later." ”

Zhang Xinchen's military camp was not far from the prefect's yamen, and he had already sent scouts near the yamen, so when he returned to besiege the yamen, he quickly received the news. He rushed to the yamen with a bureau of guards, raised his hand to the sky, and fired a gun.

The sound of the guns shocked the Hui Hui who were besieging the Yamen, and when they saw the guards waiting for battle, some of them showed fear on their faces, while most of them were even more angry. Someone stepped forward and questioned Zhang Xinchen: "Is General Zhang going to slaughter the Huidu here?" Should the 200,000 people in Ganzhou wash their necks and wait for the general's butcher's knife? ”

Zhang Xinchen smiled: "Then how dare you? It's just that you besiege the prefect's yamen, which violates the "Da Ming Law": anyone who attacks the Yamen at all levels of the Ming Dynasty will be sentenced to more than five years in prison.
