Chapter 13 Insight
Carl easily found a way, a safe and efficient way to deduct points without being locked up or placed on probation -
- He's suddenly become a bit clumsy lately.
However, Karl would never do this in Snape's class, because not only would he be deducted points, but he would also be placed in school or even locked up, and he was not in the mood to face Snape's "affectionate" old face all night.
However, even if Carl didn't make a mistake on purpose, Snape's class was the easiest to deduct points, not his points, and the Gryffindor little lions directly helped him do it.
To be honest, Carl really didn't care about Potions class, for the reason I mentioned before, he didn't think that Potions could be counted as part of his own strength at all.
But even if he was in a daze, Snape's words would always get into his ears and imprint them in his mind.
Like now, Carl was bored looking out the window, thinking about what books to borrow from the library after class.
"Cooper, what did I just say?"
"The boiling method of a serving of life and death water is ......"
"Sit down! Gryffindor deducts two points!"
After that, Snape never talked to him again.
Gradually, Carl became the main priority, and the Transfiguration class became the one he was most interested in, followed by the Charms class and the Defence Against the Dark Arts class. He also listened to other classes, but the only ones he was most interested in were the above.
In fact, what he is really interested in is dark magic, but unfortunately Hogwarts does not teach it at all, and he does not force it, after all, his foundation is still too weak now.
Carl was a little disdainful of Transfiguration, but at the beginning of his thought, no matter how advanced Transfiguration, the destructive power of it would not be able to catch up with a single shot.
But as he learned, he discovered that there was an interesting phenomenon in the wizarding world - it wasn't that the more destructive the magic, the more powerful the magic.
For Muggles, a wound that is too large can be fatal, but for wizards, even a broken hand or foot is a matter of spell.
As long as it's not an immediate fatal injury, wizards have a way to eliminate it easily.
The battle between wizards is not about how destructive the spell is, but about the understanding and use of the spell.
At this point, the complex and massive Transfiguration technique became Carl's first choice.
Transfiguration is not just a word that can be summed up in two words, it even has the ability to change the essence of matter.
Truth be told, Carl really wanted to do an electron microscope right now to look at the molecular structure of the deformed objects and see what had happened inside them.
So, he brought it up to Professor McGonagall during Transfiguration class on Thursday.
"Mr. Cooper, electronic devices are not usable in the wizarding world! Now, please sit down!
Carl pouted, he knew that electronic devices could not be used in the wizarding world.
Looking at Professor McGonagall's black-rimmed glasses, Carl naturally remembered a cat, but the owner of the cat was named Schrödinger.
Carl felt as if he had suddenly found a topic to discuss for a year.
......
In addition to these cultural lessons, Carl discovered that Hogwarts actually had a physical education class.
When an announcement of a flying lesson was posted in the Gryffindor common room, Carl was actually quite happy.
Look at other people's physical education classes, and learn to fly directly.
Flying, since the dawn of mankind, has been one of the greatest dreams of mankind, and Carl yearns for flying no less than others.
But for flying on a broomstick, Carl felt that it was too low.
Anyway, why can't the levitation spell be used on yourself, the hover spell will do.
Ever since that announcement was posted, ninety-nine percent of Gryffindor's first-year students have been talking about flying.
The hundredth was Carl, of course, who was still sitting quietly in the corner of the Gryffindor common room reading a book.
There was a lot of commotion in the common room, and even the older students began to join in the discussion, and Quidditch seemed to stir up the excitement of all Gryffindors.
However, this did not interfere with Carl, and after a few weeks, Carl learned something about blocking interference - he learned the anti-interference charm to deal with the situation.
It's just that Carl didn't expect that someone would come to him at this time.
When George and Fred stood in front of him, Carl had to put down the book in his hand.
"Carl, we thought it was time for you to experience something more than just learning. ”
What the hell?, Karl looked up at the two of them.
"You're the only one in Gryffindor who reads books at times like this. Fred said.
You'll see the second one next year, Carl pouted.
"Don't you think it's a waste of this good rest?" said George.
It's a waste of time to be with you!!
"Given the unbreakable friendship between us. Fred said.
The unbreakable friendship of bullshit, Carl complained in his heart.
However, the twins were indeed his two best relations in Hogwarts castle, and even Carl didn't know why this was the case.
He and the twins gradually found a common topic.
"We decided—" George said.
Can you not speak so rhythmically, hey!
"I'll show you what to see!" said the twins in unison.
Carl was stunned for a moment, and then asked, "What do you see?"
"You'll know when you get there!"
After saying that, he couldn't help but pick up Carl and walked outside the lounge.
My day! Carl couldn't move at all.
Europeans and Americans just develop early, and the physical gap between the first and second grades is too big.
Resisting the urge to push the two away with his magic, Carl had to let the two of them drag them out.
They had passed through the hallways, the stairs, the school gates, and the three of them had reached the outside of Hogwarts Castle, and were still walking farther away.
"Where the hell are you taking me?"
Truth be told, Carl hadn't really been to any of these places - he hadn't been more than a hundred metres away from Hogwarts Castle since he had been in school.
He saw Hagrid's hut in the distance, the Beater Willow, and the Great Lake beyond, and Karl even glanced at the Forbidden Forest from afar.
Then, they came to a huge open-air stadium – at least that's what Karl thought.
In the afternoon, there were already a few people sitting in the audience at the Quidditch pitch, where several students in the obvious Gryffindor red robes were flying in the sky on broomsticks.
"This is where we train and compete!" George said "we" with smugness in his eyes.
The twins were drafted this year to become Gryffindor batsmen.
"Carl, we solemnly invite you to visit—" Fred said.
"—Gryffindor's Quidditch Training!"
