Chapter Forty-Eight: The Spell Club

After so many days of contact, the professors who came into contact with the most were the deans of the four faculties, and they all taught an important course each.

Professor Sprout is intimate and gentle, and her love for the school, her profession and her students are evident in her words and deeds. Snape speaks very harshly, and usually seems to be unapproachable, but he has the hottest emotions buried in his heart, and he only reveals them to certain people.

Professor McGonagall is cold-hearted and always harsh, but in fact she is also a person of affection. Professor Flitwick had a level of emotion that didn't match his height, and the first time he read Harry's name, he would fall off the stack of books in excitement, and he would joke about the students.

If Professor McGonagall had formed such a club, she would have held regular meetings and was prepared for each one.

But the romantic Professor Flitwick was more freewheeling, and did not have a fixed meeting time, but only gave a space for them to discuss freely and learn from each other.

Anyway, Seamus still wants to go and see, after all, he hasn't been there yet, so it's better to explore the way first and see who is in this club.

Taking out his card and confirming the address on it, Seamus walked slowly towards the easternmost classroom on the third floor.

To be honest, those random stairs are sometimes very troublesome, but fortunately, Seamus has the help of a map, and quickly figured out their patterns, so he won't be taken to a place he doesn't want to go.

Walking to the easternmost part of the third floor, there were no classrooms in sight, here was the end of a corridor with a tapestry on one side and only a statue on the other.

If he was in the Muggle world, he would have thought he was on the wrong track, but this was Hogwarts, so he had to think about how to get in and where the entrance was.

The tapestry depicts a painting of an eagle flying with its wings and a river below it, reflecting the starry sky, but unlike the portrait, the pattern on it does not move.

On the other side is a statue of a middle-aged witch, who looks very old, but Seamus has not been able to find the memory of this witch in his mind, it should not be a well-known person, but why is her statue here?

Professor Flitwick seemed to be at ease with him, not telling him how to get in at all, only an address.

In other words, if you can't find the entrance, you can't join this club, and this is the first test.

Seamus pondered and faced the conundrum in front of him, the eagle undoubtedly symbolized Ravenclaw, which was their emblem.

Professor Flitwick is the dean of Ravenclaw, and the way to enter the Ravenclaw common room is to answer the riddle of the bronze knocker correctly, so the way to enter here should be the answer to the riddle here.

The tapestry also depicts a river reflecting the starry sky, and as far as he knows, Rowena Ravenclaw, the first Abbot and one of the four giants who founded Hogwarts, came from the riverside.

Seamus turned to face the statue of the middle-aged witch, "So, this witch should be Rowena Ravenclaw, but she was enchanted to hide her true appearance. ”

Seamus waved his wand to dispel the spell on the statue, and sure enough, the statue's true face was revealed, and it was Rowena Ravenclaw.

"Then the answer is simple. Seamus withdrew his wand and stared at the statue in front of him, "Extraordinary ingenuity is the greatest treasure of mankind. ”

He uttered the words calmly, and the statue suddenly moved away, revealing the secret door behind it.

Inside was a spacious classroom, warm and bright, with a standard fireplace, scattered sofa seats and small tables, and a corner with dolls that looked like they were used to practice magic.

On the other side, against the wall, there is a counter with black tea, coffee and other drinks, as well as some snacks, which is a good place to spend afternoon tea.

Seamus walked in, and there were two people sitting on the couch who saw him come in and looked at him.

"Hello, I'm Seamus Finigan, a first-year Gryffindor, please take care of me when we meet for the first time. Seamus introduced himself.

"Hello, I'm Penelope Crivat, a fourth-grader in Ravenclaw. ”

"Hello, I'm Cedric Diggory, a third-year Hufflepuff. ”

The two people inside also stood up to say hello, and Seamus shook hands with them one by one and found a place to sit down.

Penelope was tall and a big beauty, with long brown hair draped over the back of her head, and Cedric was a veritable handsome man, and when he was two years older, he might become the public enemy of the Hogwarts boys.

Professor Flitwick doesn't pick people based on their appearance, Hermione is okay, and she is not afraid to dress up a little, but what can I do, it is difficult to be at the bottom in this area.

Without waiting for him to think about it, Cedric said with a smile: "You are one of the two newcomers who just joined, I haven't seen you come here for a long time, and I thought you wouldn't come in, now you are welcome and officially joined the Charms Club." ”

"So it's really an entry test outside, so what if someone accidentally comes in?" Seamus was a little puzzled.

"Don't worry, if you don't have this card in your hand, the statue won't move away anyway. Penelope replied with a smile.

Seamus nodded in understanding, and Cedric asked, "Seamus, what do you drink?"

"Black tea bar. ”

Cedric waved his wand, and three cups of black tea and coffee floated on the counter not far away. Two cups of black tea landed in front of him and Seamus, the coffee resting on the table in front of Penelope, and one of them came with a plate of snacks.

"Don't look at her in the fourth grade, but she's the same age as me, and I'm just a year late. Cedric said, picking up the tea.

"So you're all three years older than me, so I'm going to ask for more advice from now on. Seamus picked up a piece of snack and asked, "How many people are there in the Charms Club, and how often do they meet?"

"I can't talk about teaching, learn from each other, relax, and use this place as a café. Penelope took a sip of coffee and replied, "The total number of people is not too much, the time of the meeting depends entirely on the mood of the dean, there is only one definite meeting every year, which is to welcome those new members, and the rest is that the dean has discovered some new spells and will call us over." ”

"Usually we come here when we have time, but the senior students don't come here very often because they are busy with exams and revisions. Cedric explained, "This year's welcome party won't take place until after Halloween, when there won't be any new people joining. ”
