This female soldier is Liu Min, who has been famous in the dance world since the early 80s, the only national first-class dancer who has won the honor of "three consecutive championships" and enjoys special government allowances, the director of the dance department of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, and was recently awarded the rank of major general.

It's been a lot of ups and downs

Knowing Liu Min, he started from TV and newspapers. Later, she became the head of the dance department of my alma mater, the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, and later, I went to work in the general political department of my alma mater.

It was the spring of 2004, and the General Political Department held a training course for "celebrities and celebrities," and I had the honor to participate as a cadre in charge of propaganda work. Liu Min has a slender figure of 1.73 meters tall, long arms and long legs, good looks and dignified manners, and is born a "big green coat" and "sword horse" material.

On February 10, 1958, Liu Min was born in a military family in Hefei, Anhui Province, and she was the youngest of three sisters. Her parents never imagined that in the future, their daughter would become a bright star, the only and most beautiful female general in the dance world.

She has a loving mother and a strict father, and she has been pampered and educated at the same time, and Liu Min is very grateful to her parents for growing up in such an environment. She believes that the formation of her ideological character is the result of the education of her parents and teachers.

After graduating from primary school, Liu Min was admitted to the dance class of Anhui Provincial Art School and began his dance career. She has a good congenital condition, and in the art school, what the teacher teaches and what she will do. Slowly, she got a little carried away and played a clever trick. When practicing "leg control", she found a trick to support her legs while the teacher was not paying attention, which was very comfortable. But this kind of cleverness has not escaped Teacher Zhang Hongying, who has been teaching for many years. She criticized her harshly and deliberately lowered her score during the exam; When teaching, I deliberately gave her a problem.

When I came home one day, my father's former kind face became grim: "Xiaomin, I'm 13 years old, and I'm still lazy!" Since you're afraid of hardship and tiredness, don't learn dance anymore. I'll take you to talk to the principal, go to a regular middle school, and go to university in the future. ”

Only then did the young Liu Min realize her mistake, and in front of her strict father and respected teacher, she wrote a letter of guarantee - from now on, she will not be lazy.

Since then, she has worked hard, learned art, practiced, and become more conscious. Summer vacation is over, and it's time to relax and unwind. But she didn't, on a hot day, about 40 degrees Celsius, she went out early in the morning to practice long-distance running, and then went to school to practice after running, and when she got home, she continued to practice blanket exercises on the grass.

For Liu Min, there are no holidays, and this habit has been maintained to this day. Whether it's windy or rainy, or hot summer, people don't let themselves play for a day. Even on a big holiday, she didn't go to the practice room for a day, and it can be said that she spent more time in the practice room than she spent anywhere else.

In 1978, Liu Min was admitted to the General Political Song and Dance Troupe with excellent results, when she was only 20 years old. Soon after joining the regiment, she participated in the condolence group organized by the regiment and went to the front line to express condolences to the commanders and fighters. She was deeply moved when she saw the warriors of her companion Ling living in harsh conditions and dying with blood at any moment, and she understood the meaning of "noble" and "great". The sacrifice of the warriors inspired Liu Min and enriched the connotation of her dance, and in later days, she always had a simple belief: to serve the audience and be the best dancer.

It is really commendable that superior external conditions and good internal qualities are naturally concentrated in one person. Liu Min has a special temperament of the external image and rich inner world, which has become the most solid foundation for her to shape the dance image and express the emotions of the characters. At the same time, with her hard work, hard work and study in her dance career, she has become successful step by step. In her dance creation, she has synthesized and refined the essence of classical dance, ballet, modern dance and folk dance to form her own dance style.

In September 1986, the 2nd National Dance Competition was held in Beijing. Prior to this, Liu Min had already participated in two national dance competitions. This time is the first "Taoli Cup" dance competition in the country. At that time, she was preparing a solo party, and when she heard that there was a competition, she resolutely gave up the solo party. Some people persuaded her that it was risky to participate in the competition, and it was okay to win the award, but if she didn't win the prize, it was better to hold a party to have an impact. But Liu Min disagreed. She believes that although the party is safe, there is no competition, and it is not enjoyable. So, she decided to go for a fight. As a result, she won first place in the women's senior category, but tied with another dancer. Others congratulated her, and she smiled bitterly: "Tie for first place, don't count!" "The following year, the all-army dance competition was held, and Liu Min participated again and won a tie for first place." No, if you want to get it, you have to be the only one! With his vow, Liu Min signed up for the second National Dance Competition for the third time.

The artistic image of Xianglin's sister-in-law in Lu Xun's novel "Blessing" has been performed in Chinese movies and dramas, and Liu Min's dance image is the first time in modern Chinese dance.

At the end of the performance, the judges unanimously gave the highest score to Liu Min. She won the only first prize in the 2nd National Dance Competition.

So far, Liu Min has become the only young dancer in China's dance industry to win the "three consecutive championships" in the national dance competition.

The appearance of Liu Min is a refreshing sight to the Chinese dance world. Over the decades, Liu Min has created numerous artistic images in her dance world. After a long period of hard training, Liu Min suffered many injuries on his body. As early as 10 years ago, doctors did a comprehensive examination for Liu Min. She was found to have scars on her lower back, knees, and feet, as well as stomach and heart problems. What's more serious is that she has a bone crack hidden in her waist, and if she doesn't get it right, she will be paralyzed for life.

On the evening of April 20, 1991, the large-scale song and dance party "Strait Love" jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and CCTV was held in the theater of the Beijing Exhibition Center. Liu Min, who had just returned to Beijing from a condolence performance in Shanxi, was invited to participate in the performance of the program "Xianglin Sister-in-law", which won the first prize in the National Dance Competition.

Liu Min on the stage was too devoted. When Xianglin's sister-in-law was hit by a series of blows and was completely disappointed in her fate, she mistook the white yarn disguised on the orchestra pit in front of the stage as an extension of the stage and plunged into the orchestra pit more than two meters deep. The doctor found a bowl-shaped bag bulging out of Liu Min's head, and there were multiple purple blood spots on his knees, shoulders and feet. The doctors and staff at the scene insisted on immediately sending Liu Min to the hospital for examination and treatment. Some viewers who didn't know each other volunteered: "We have a car, let's send it." Two viewers from Taiwan took the initiative to say: "Go to the best hospital, and we will bear all the medical expenses." ”

Liu Min woke up from the coma, and in the face of everyone's concern, a warm current surged in her heart, she insisted on standing up, and said to Ling Feng in a firm voice: "I want to go back on stage and finish the performance that has not been finished!" The people present were amazed - she still wanted to perform at this time. She put her life on the line. Ling Feng couldn't help but shed tears: "No, in case there are three long and two short, I can't explain it to the audience!" The famous dancer Chen Ailian, who knows the joys and hardships of actors, is even more tearful: "Liu Min, you are too strong!" ”

When everyone's repeated persuasion did not work, Ling Feng had no choice but to give in. At the end of the performance, the thunderous applause lasted for a long time, and many audience members had tears in their eyes. People admire not only the artist's artistic image, but also the artist's heroism.

That night, Liu Min was admitted to the hospital. After the doctor examined her, he warned her that there was a possibility of paraplegia at any time.

After listening to the doctor's words, Liu Min, who didn't shed a single tear when he was injured, couldn't help but burst into tears. She was saddened not by the possibility of paraplegia, but by the fact that if she was paraplegic, it would mean that she would lose the stage she loved forever.

Under the careful treatment of doctors and the care of all walks of life, Liu Min finally overcame the pain, stood up tenaciously and re-entered the stage.

Liu Min in life is the same as Liu Min on the stage, constantly pursuing perfection. It has been asserted that nine out of ten strong women are not gentle. Liu Min categorically denied: strong women are not only manifested in their careers, but also in their personal lives and emotions, they are also the richest and most feminine.

She has too high requirements for beauty, including the choice of a partner. She is an aesthete. In her mind, he must also be perfect. Therefore, she doesn't want to easily cross the threshold of this life, especially if she has had a failed experience.

Since 1991, Liu Min has been preparing to shoot the TV film "Dream" that reflects his stage art. There are two opinions on how to make this TV film well, and the opinion from the TV industry is that since Liu Min was a child, she will review her artistic path for more than ten years and show her famous works one by one.

What Liu Min thinks is that everything in the past only represents the past. What this film wants to show is brand new, not to show the Liu Min of the past, but to show the Liu Min of today, a brand new Liu Min.

It's a bold and risky idea. A director of CCTV is worried that if you don't explain your famous works and history, how will the audience know who you are. Throwing away all the past is equivalent to throwing away all your own aura, which requires courage.

At Liu Min's insistence, the film "Dream" was finally made, which is a new dance art film. It is divided into six sections, with no subheadings and no illustrated explanations. With its vulgar artistic taste and hazy and illusory TV language, it creates a beautiful environment as sweet as the morning mist and as gorgeous as the morning glow.

This is an art film that can stir up the interest of the audience. The whole film is composed of six color blocks with snow white, ink black, golden yellow, azure, fiery red, and emerald green, as well as six kinds of life dreams and color class psychological experiences.

A person's dreams are inexhaustible, and today's dreams and yesterday's dreams will not be repeated. The same is true for the creation of art. In this film, Liu Min does not follow the path that he is already familiar with, but fully mobilizes the keen feelings of human body function and art, and uses metaphorical dance language to reveal his perception of life.

Experts and peers in the dance industry praised this as a unique and unconventional art film. CCTV made an exception and broadcast it four times in prime time. There is no precedent for this in art films, especially dance art films.

1993 was the most glorious year of Liu Min's stage career. This year, she has won three consecutive championships in previous dance competitions, and has successively held solo dance evenings, published dance albums, and filmed TV feature films. Liu Min believes that going abroad is a good opportunity for her to learn. She never stopped to appreciate herself, she could always feel the pressure on her shoulders and worry about being eliminated from society. In the United States, she felt the new changes brought to the world by the rapid pace of Americans. In New York and Broadway, she saw Americans in suits and ties striding with leather shoes in their hands and tourist shoes in order to hurry, which made her very emotional. When I arrived in Europe, it was a different leisurely scene, a cup of coffee in a Greek café could be drunk from noon to afternoon, watching the street scene to kill time, and the living conditions of the elderly widened the gap between countries, and Europe was inevitably in a state of economic depression.

One winter in the United States, Liu Min met Domingo, one of the world's three major tenors, and she was very touched. That night, after Domingo's performance, the Chinese embassy hosted a banquet to express his gratitude. Coincidentally, the heating system of the Chinese embassy failed, and most of the people who came to the banquet wore evening dresses, and when they entered the hall, they felt very cold when they took off their coats. During his stay in the United States, Liu Min watched Broadway, modern dance, drama, and opera performances. She has also taught and conducted academic exchanges at universities and high schools in major cities in the United States. In the spring of 1995, at a gathering at the Indonesian embassy in the United States, when it was learned that Liu Min, dressed in an openwork gold silk suit and elegant temperament, was a dancer from China, someone proposed a solo party. On that day, Liu Min danced "Spring", "Moon", "Return", "Liang Zhu", "White Snow" 5 dances in one go, the elegant and flowing dance slid like a dream, ethereal, like a song and crying, many ambassadors and wives were deeply intoxicated by this dance of elves from the East.

The name of the Chinese dancer Liu Min is spreading in the United States. There is her personal homepage on the Internet, several prestigious universities have invited her to be a professor, and even a modeling agency has stalked her and asked her to be a model. But when her husband's term expired, Liu Min chose to return to China without hesitation.

After returning to China, Liu Min was pleasantly surprised to find that this piece of yellow land still loved her, and she appeared in the Spring Festival Gala and large-scale singing and dancing evenings one after another, and her graceful dancing posture appeared in dances such as "Spring", "Peony" and "Lotus Rhyme".

1999 was another major turning point in Liu Min's life. A year after returning to China, she became the deputy director of the dance department of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts.

At the beginning of his tenure, he was preparing to participate in the 6th National Youth "Taoli Cup" Dance Competition, and the leader asked Liu Min to take up this burden. As the winner of the gold medal of the first "Taoli Cup" in 1985, Liu Min knows the weight of the "Taoli Cup". At that time, after a round of "Taoli Cup", Liu Min's price was stomach cramps, neurasthenia, and more than a dozen pounds lighter. Time is tight and the task is heavy, Liu Min has the strength to practice dance skills. She boldly introduces a large number of modern dance teaching models, allowing students to experience the release and tension of the body. The students are young and have little experience, so Liu Min invited teachers from the Department of Drama to teach students to figure out the complex emotions of various characters, so as to ignite students' emotions and enhance the expressiveness and perception of dance.

In the days of preparing for the "Taoli Cup", what moved Liu Min the most was the selflessness and greatness of the teachers. Within 10 months, the teachers did not have the concept of holidays, and the rehearsals were made with infinite effort. At every interval of the competition, the teachers were busy handing out water, sending towels, rubbing their arms, and going up and down the stairs to tell the contestants not to stumble. This scene made Liu Min can't help but think of the obscure backs behind him.

The students lived up to their teachers' wishes, and all 13 contestants entered the play-in round. At the awards party, Liu Min sat quietly in the audience, watching the students lift flowers and trophies again and again, and an unusual pride and relief surged in her heart, which was not more for herself, but for her students and the green cradle of military art.

When you talk to Liu Min, you don't think she's just a dancer, and the speculative words that pop up from time to time are evocative. For example, her favorite motto is: I am my mirror. This familiar melody has been sung all over the country. As one of the most famous baritone singers in China and a civilian major general of the General Political Opera Troupe, Yang Hongji has dedicated many classic works to the audience with his mellow voice like old wine.

Yang Hongji was born in Dalian in February 1941. Because of his love of singing since childhood, Yang Hongji, who was in his second year of high school in 1959, was admitted to the Dalian Song and Dance Troupe, and in 1962, he was admitted to the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Political Opera Troupe. He mainly studied vocal music under Li Mengxiong, and then studied with Yang Huatang for a period of time, and was once guided by Professor Shen Xiang. "I've been very sensitive to music since I was a child. My mother wanted me to become a doctor, but I just wouldn't. My first fondness was Kunqu Opera and Peking Opera. It feels hard to memorize other things, but memorizing these melodies is extremely fast, and I often have an impression after reading it once. ”

Yang Hongji's entry into the music hall was very accidental. At the age of 18, the Dalian Song and Dance Troupe recruited amateur singers and dancers. Yang Hongji's neighbors said, "You have a good voice, why don't you give it a try?" Unexpectedly, he passed the exam and became an amateur singer in the troupe. A few days later, he was officially transferred to the Dalian Song and Dance Troupe. That year, he hadn't graduated from high school.

Yang Hongji became popular all over the country with the song "Rolling Yangtze River East Passing Water". He said that being able to sing the song also had a small episode. In 1993, songwriter Gu Jianfen informed him to record the theme song of the TV series "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Yang Hongji was very happy at the time and immediately went to the recording studio. But when I arrived, I found that there were several singers who also wanted to sing this song. "At that time, I felt that I had little hope, because the audience was more acceptable to ethnic and popular singing, and I sang bel canto. And at that time, I was preparing for the recording and performance of the Spring Festival Gala, my voice was a little tired, and the recorded sound was not very good. After a while, the crew informed me and asked me to record it again. After this recording, they informed me that it was decided. Later, I heard Gu Jianfen say that for the first time, I was almost not selected because of my voice. Before that song, I also sang some songs and participated in many evening parties, but there are not many works that are really household names, and only after singing "Rolling Yangtze River East Passing Water" did I have a certain popularity. ”

At that time, my internal organs felt as if they had been hollowed out, and I was so uncomfortable that I could only relieve the pain by covering my abdomen tightly with my hands. This is the first time I have faced the life and death of my loved ones.

Although it cost nearly 50,000 yuan in three days, my father's illness did not improve. There was really no way, so we transferred my father to the Second Artillery General Hospital, where medical conditions were relatively good, to continue his treatment.

After a few days in the Second Artillery General Hospital, my father's illness still did not improve, and the doctors told us several times that there was no hope. But as a child, I still have luck and hope that my father can wake up as soon as possible.

After several critical illness notices in the hospital, we had to grieve and face this unacceptable reality. Therefore, the brothers discussed with our mother, and according to the relevant state regulations, the body cannot be transported after death, and can only be cremated in Beijing, so that the fathers, elders, relatives, and friends in our hometown will not be able to see our father for the last time. Rather than that, it is better for the father to return to the homeland where he was born and raised in this last moment, and take a second look. On December 31, 2001, my family moved from Huangsi to South Beach on the west side of the Olympic Park.
