The Seventh Age, Fuxi Salvation Chapter 6 Fuxi Painting Hexagram

Emperor Fuxi and Nuwa Niangniang may miss their hometown too much, they all dream of returning to their hometown. So, they took Xiaohu'er and rushed to the Tianshui Holy Land together.

Along the way, they were well worth the trip. The emperor traveled around the world, looking at astronomy and geography at the same time, and they also observed everything in the world. During this period, they have seen the morning sun and purple glow coming to the east, they have seen the sunset clouds steaming in the clouds, they have seen the mountains and forests soaked in greenery, they have seen the rivers and blue waves, they have seen the wild geese fighting in the sky, and they have seen the fierce beasts galloping in the wilderness.

That time, one scene after another, although there were thrilling companions, there were also magnificent shocking enjoyment. The emperor always shares this incisive feeling of happiness, although the journey is a little hard, but they are also at ease and happy in their hearts.

Before they knew it, the emperor and Niangniang had returned to the holy land of Tianshui. When the people in the old place heard that Emperor Xi and Emperor Wa had returned, they greeted them with laughter and laughter, and they really didn't know what to do.

Emperor Fuxi has been away from his hometown for many years, and the feelings of his hometown have also prompted him to want to do something for his hometown. Therefore, the emperor personally designed and planned, and personally led the villagers of Tianshui, they built a building complex with mountain stones as the base, mud as the wall, and thatch as the roof on the land of their hometown. The Emperor named the complex 'Dragon City'. Dragon City is also the first building complex in the world since the beginning of the world, and it is the 'first city in the world'.

And Emperor Fuxi was born to be a person who loved to study, and in any case, he could not be idle no matter what. Once the Emperor had settled everything, he began to do what he loved again. Moreover, whatever the emperor wanted to do, he would not stop until he made a achievement.

Many years later, through painstaking research and careful observation, Emperor Fuxi initially understood the natural changes of all things in heaven and earth, and he also discovered that things are mutually opposed and interdependent. Moreover, there are relatively regular rules of operation between them.

Emperor Fuxi observed the changes of the sun, moon and stars for a long time, and he first measured the specific relationship between the year, the month and the day.

The Emperor found that in a year, the sun rose and set, or the number of days and nights, alternated three hundred and sixty-five times a year, that is, three hundred and sixty-five days in a year.

Within a year, the four seasons should be changed once in cold and summer. And every time it has to go through the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, there are four seasons in a year.

Within a year, the moon looks at the new moon, and the full moon and the waxing and waning moon should alternate twelve times, that is, there are twelve months in a year.

In a month, the sun rises and sets almost thirty times, that is, there are thirty days in each month.

The year, month, day, and their specific manifestations are the units of time that we commonly use in our daily lives. That is, there are four seasons in a year, twelve months, and three hundred and sixty-five days.

Since Emperor Fuxi had already invented hieroglyphs, he also created the method of counting numbers and calculus. Therefore, he used the knowledge he had mastered as the foundation and recorded all the laws of heaven and earth changes that he had discovered. Later, after the emperor's careful arrangement, the oldest calendar was born.

Ever since the creation of the ancient calendar, Emperor Fuxi has taught people to familiarize themselves with the concept of using time. Later, after years of research, he finally discovered an even more wonderful phenomenon.

It turns out that in everything in nature, they always restrain and depend on each other under the condition of mutual reciprocity and mutual restraint. Moreover, all the four directions and four dimensions in the world, including the sun, moon and stars, are always changing periodically according to certain laws.

In order to figure out the reasons for this series of phenomena, Emperor Fuxi began to constantly reflect on himself. He repeatedly asked, what is the law of connection between the universe and all things in heaven and earth? By the way, the best way is to go between heaven and earth and ask about the all-encompassing nature.

One day, Emperor Fuxi had a series of problems in his heart, and he kept moving along the Wei River. In the distance, he saw a round hill in front of him. The hill is surrounded by a low-lying basin, which is surrounded by a uniform raised slope. And this basin is like a circle embedded in the hill, and the degree of regularity is simply perfect, like a circumferential circle drawn by the Creator with great care.

When the Emperor climbed the mountain, he saw that the Wei River, which had been going straight, began to bend, and the Wei River turned in the middle of the basin, and it flowed through the middle of the hill. The curvilinear Wei River evenly divides this circular basin into two pieces, and the shape of the two pieces is basically similar.

If you turn either of these two pieces up for half a week and then overlap them, maybe they will match perfectly. What's more, what's even more incredible is that the center of the confluence of this hill and the Wei River is impartially located right in the center of the entire Great Circle.

The Emperor was simply dumbfounded, and this was really amazing. Because of this, the emperor named the hill 'Hexagram Mountain' based on its shape. According to the figure composed of this landscape, the emperor named the entire mountain and river map 'Taiji Tu'.

Emperor Fuxi stood on the Hexagram Mountain on the south bank of the Wei River, he looked at the lush trees on the mountain, and then looked at the rippling green waves of the Wei River flowing under his feet, and fell into deep contemplation.

Suddenly, a wave of sleepiness hit, and the emperor didn't realize that his eyelids were heavy. He took a deep breath of fresh air, intending to refresh himself from his circle of swings around and study the marvelous spectacle again. However, after only a few steps, the emperor felt drowsy, so he had to fall asleep on a rock.

In the haze, Emperor Fuxi suddenly felt that his eyes lit up. I don't know when a looming beautiful scene appeared in front of the emperor. After the thunder sounded, the emperor actually saw the clouds and mist steaming on the mountain on the other side of the river, and a fire-breathing cave appeared between the clouds and mist in the middle of the mountain. Immediately, he found a golden, silver, and white dragon horse flying out of the cave.

I saw that the dragon horse had its dragon head, dragon horns, dragon back, horse body, golden mane, golden eyes, it was silver-white, four hooves kicked the clouds, the silver tail fluttered, and there was wind behind a pair of cloud wings. The emperor looked again, but saw that the dragon horse still had a picture of mountains and rivers in his mouth. And the dragon horse seemed to have seen the Emperor Fuxi as well, and it flew down from the mountain and landed leisurely on the distraction stone of the small island in the center of the Wei River.

And that picture of mountains and rivers is also a little special, it looks like a beautiful picture, it is clearly defined, black and white, sparkling. What's even more exciting is that the graphics on it are somewhat familiar. Oh! The emperor remembered, isn't the pattern on this picture exactly the pattern of this landscape? Why did it appear in the Wei River? Could it be that this is the legendary 'river map'?

It turned out that this river map was a Taiji map, Emperor Fuxi's eyes widened, he felt that this was a rare treasure, I had to get it in my hands quickly. So, the emperor also flew into the air, and he also landed firmly on the distraction stone, and stood firmly in front of the dragon horse.

And the dragon horse seemed to know the Emperor Fuxi, and it directly put the river map into the hands of the emperor. The emperor took the river map, and the dragon horse raised its head to the sky and neighed a few times, and then took off into the air again, and did not know where it had flown to.

The emperor was really overjoyed, and he was just about to take a closer look at this Taiji diagram, but saw that this river diagram actually slipped onto the distraction stone. The emperor was afraid of soiling the river map, so he jumped into the water for the time being. At this time, the distraction stone is transformed into a three-dimensional pattern, in which yin and yang are entangled, and the light is shining. Then, I saw that this Taiji diagram began to rotate. And it is getting bigger and bigger, it is black and white, white and black, rigid and soft, yin and yang are mutually beneficial.

Emperor Fuxi was puzzled, and he couldn't understand the mystery. The emperor was just about to bow his head to get the map of the Taiji River, but he saw a big turtle crawling up in the river, and the big turtle actually stood on the distraction stone in the middle of the Wei River and refused to come down.

The Emperor wanted to move the turtle away, but he picked up the Taiji diagram, but the big turtle stubbornly lay there motionless. The Emperor pushed it again, but it simply shrank its head and fell asleep on the distraction stone. When the emperor saw that he couldn't get rid of the big turtle, he wanted to leave here.

The emperor was just about to start, but he saw thunder rolling and lightning flashing. A gust of wind suddenly blew over the Wei River, blowing in all directions, followed by a torrential rain.

Emperor Fuxi suddenly felt a sudden chill on his body, he shivered, and woke up when he opened his eyes. He found that he was still on the hexagram mountain, and the heavy rain was still falling. The emperor hurriedly looked at the Wei River at the bottom of the mountain, and it turned out that the distraction stone was really inlaid with a huge river map, and the river map was also this Taiji pattern. However, the big turtle was gone.

The next day, Emperor Fuxi wanted to look for the turtle, but he didn't know where to look. Outside, the Emperor walked along a path. As he walked, he came to Luohe by mistake.

The Emperor stood on the edge of the Luo River, watching the river flow by and birds flying overhead, but there was no shadow of the turtle. The Emperor thought, maybe I took the dream as a reality, maybe the Divine Turtle didn't exist.

When the emperor wanted to return, he saw a great turtle swimming from the bottom of the river. Seeing that the Great Divine Turtle came to his eyes, he was very happy with the Great Emperor. He looked down, oh! What is it? At this moment, the Great Emperor found that on the back of this big turtle, there were still a lot of things on his back. The Emperor was very surprised, and he asked himself: Why is this old turtle in this Luo River? What do these dots represent?

The emperor looked at the patterns on the turtle's back again, and found that the patterns composed of these stars were also arranged in a certain regular order. The emperor couldn't help asking: The Taiji map found in the Wei River is a river map, and the mysterious book map in the Luo River may also be the legendary 'Luo Shu'?

So, Emperor Fuxi hurriedly kept these stars in mind, and he quickly returned to Guatai Mountain. Then the Emperor found stones of similar size and arranged them in the shape of the stars on the turtle's back. In this way, it is equivalent to moving the Luo Shu on the turtle's back to the hexagram mountain.

The Emperor laid out each dot on the Luo Shu figure with a stone, and began to study it carefully. He started with the central dot, and then connected the scattered dots by dotted and solid lines, and then a Tai Chi figure appeared.

The Emperor continued to explore, and he also found that no matter from any direction through the center point of Luoshu to make a straight line, and then add the dots of the three parts of this straight line, the number is fifteen.

In order to better interpret the true meaning of Luoshu, Emperor Fuxi brought his son Hu'er to Guatai Mountain. He asked the tiger to stand facing north, his legs naturally apart, and his arms stretched out in parallel. At this time, Hu'er's body became a 'big' character.

When the tiger stands facing north, the top of his head is up, and the upper direction represents the north, and the corresponding number of this direction is nine; At this time, between the two feet behind the tiger, that is, the bottom, the number is one, and the direction is south; His right shoulder is numbered two, and his bearing is northeast; His left shoulder is numbered four, and his bearing is northwest; The number three on the left side of his body is the direction of the west; The number seven on the right side of his body is east; His right foot is numbered six, and his orientation is southeast; His left foot is numbered eight and has a southwesterly orientation.

Emperor Fuxi found that when one or nine is ten, or four or six is ten, the geographical position here is half a year. If three or seven is ten, or two or eight is ten, the geographical orientation here is half a year. This is the Spring and Autumn Chronology invented by Emperor Fuxi and implemented the decimal system.

The discovery of the Hetu Luo Book made the clever Emperor Fuxi suddenly enlightened, and he felt that he was so lucky that he had finally found the golden key to open the mysteries of heaven and earth. Through this Hetuluo book, the emperor also found that the original password of the unity of heaven and man, the interpretation of the variables of heaven and earth, is only one yin and one yang, so simple.

At this time, the floodgates of Emperor Fuxi's thinking had already opened. Therefore, he realized that one life is two, two is four, and four is everything; The principle that Taiji gives birth to two rituals, two rituals give birth to four elephants, and four elephants give birth to gossip.

Emperor Fuxi also had an epiphany from this, and all things in the universe without exception contain two aspects: yin and yang, surface and inside. Even heaven and earth, sun and moon, male and female, hot and cold, strong and weak, life and death, real and virtual, white and black, big and small, long and short, dry and wet, positive and negative, high and low, etc., etc., are nothing more than these two aspects of yang and yin, which is absolutely true.

Emperor Fuxi suddenly felt that the truth in this was too simple. This shows that everything will be caused by it, develop and then go to the process of decay. Everything must follow the law of both opposing and interdependent, yin to yang, yang to yin, yin and yang complementary, and the cycle repeats. This is the principle of the unity of opposites and the balance of yin and yang in the universe.

So, Emperor Fuxi drew a picture according to the appearance of Hetu Luoshu. On this picture, the emperor also constructed a kind of hexagram symbols for yin and yang that are easy to interpret. The emperor used the symbol "—" to represent the yang, and the symbol "--" to represent the yin. Then, Emperor Fuxi combined the yang and yin lines three times in a row.

It doesn't matter if it's a combination, another miracle has happened. Therefore, the emperor created a very peculiar and very practical gossip map. This gossip map is the so-called Fuxi "innate gossip map".

After a simple operation, Emperor Fuxi made the eight basic hexagrams of Qian, Kun, Kan, Li, Xun, Zhen, Dui, and Gen constitute the eight trigrams representing heaven, earth, water, fire, wind, thunder, ze, and mountain. Their manifestations are: dry for the sky, Kun for the earth, earthquake for thunder, Xun for the wind, Gen for the mountain, Dui for Ze, Kan for water, and Li for fire.

Emperor Fuxi later used the astrological principle of Luo Shu to locate and observe the North Star. He found that as long as he observed the pointing of the handle of the Big Dipper, he could measure the four seasons of the world. He believes that if the bucket handle points to the east, then the world is spring; If the bucket handle points to the west, then the world is autumn; If the bucket handle points to the north, that is, to the top, then the world is winter; If it is a bucket handle guide, that is, it is under the finger, then the world is summer.

On the basis of studying the Big Dipper, the Emperor discovered the corresponding eight stars, and the Emperor determined these eight stars. The eight great stars are: Sky Star in the south, North Star in the north, Hebei Star in the east, Seven Male Star in the west, Four Junction Star in the southeast, Tiger Star in the southwest, Huagai Star in the northeast, and Tianyuan Star in the northwest.

The emperor felt that if these eight stars were corresponded to the eight trigrams, they were: Nanli, Beikan, Dongzhen, Xidui, Southeast Xun, Southwest Kun, Northeast Gen, and Northwest Qian.

Emperor Fuxi passed the Hetu Luo book, and used yin and yang to draw hexagrams, and opened the sky with one painting. His gossip map lit the light in the hearts of the wandering people, and cleared the fog of the confused earth.

In addition, Emperor Fuxi also discovered the principle of maintaining the Hetu Luoshu and the Fuxi Bagua Diagram. He believes that the significance of inventing this Bagua diagram lies in the fact that it can convey the virtues of the gods and the feelings of all things.

Because this gossip map can not only predict the future trend of the situation, but also point out the trend of the current development. Since then, Fuxi's innate gossip diagram has opened the door to explain all things in the universe, and has become a classic for solving difficulties respected by all peoples, and is revered as the supreme treasure of the land of Middle Earth and the Chinese nation.
