Chapter 159: Deployment
Francis Swift, a traditional, devout Catholic who adhered to his faith, was very incomprehensible to the raiding goals set by Isabel Walton, the leader of the Friars.
In his deeds, he could accept the evil bandit act of sacking the church and plundering the church's wealth, which was stained with the stench of blood and copper. Ideologically, however, he hardly agreed with Isabel's assertion that "Catholicism is free from the spiritual bondage of Catholicism."
Not long after the end of the last conversation, he found the leader of the Order of Order, whom he had sworn allegiance, in his free time after a Sunday Mass. In response, Isabel had to sacrifice a small portion of her time with her family to allow Francis to follow her to a guarded area on the castle walls.
Gazing at the vast fields outside the city walls, the dense woods, the interconnected cultivated fields, and the faintly visible pastures in the distance, Isabel said casually: "Look, everything here is beautiful! Francis, you know, there are also farmland, pastures, forests, streams, and lakes just outside of my hometown of Dallas. It's just that it's more of an oil field and a cotton-producing area. ”
Francis, who was standing on one side, listened silently to her words of emotion. When she had finished speaking, he politely said, "I'm sorry, ma'am, are you talking to me?" ”
Isabel turned around, winked and said, "yes, what?" ”
"Nothing, ma'am. Even though I don't understand what you're talking about, I'm sure that place called Dallas must be very beautiful. ”
"Thank you, Francis. Well, if somebody says one day everything here, there are more places like this that belong to him. Who would you think this person is? ”
Isabel obscured some of the events in her hometown, Dallas, the southern oil city of the United States, and brought the topic back to the issues that plagued Francis.
Francis, who was not smiling, pondered and said, "Ma'am, I don't think the man you are talking about is not a duke, but our king?" ”
"No, how can it be a king?! Francis, the living representative of Christ, the successor of the Apostle Peter, Pope Paul III! Isabel deliberately said the opposite, in order to find out what Francis's attitude was towards the papacy who plundered the lands and wealth of the European countries.
"It's... How is this possible? Francis did not believe that the Pope, whom he loved, and the Holy See, would rob his English people.
"Francis, I suggest you think again about the real reason why the King had separated the Church of England from the Holy See. I'm not talking about the fact that the king wants a male heir to the throne. ”
A few minutes later, Francis said in a questioning tone, "Power? Land and wealth? ”
Isabel exaggerated in her newly learned English accent: "That's right!" Francis, congratulations! ”
Of course, she didn't expect one or two conversations to completely change the ancient religion that the die-hard Catholic was almost born with. So, in the following year, she adopted a kind of surveillance and co-optation employment policy against Francis.
If Francis had rebellious intentions in thought and deed that might endanger the entire Order and her life and position, she would immediately get rid of Lord Darlington's second son.

Francis smiled and said, "Your Excellency, in fact, the brothers are very satisfied here. It's just that there is a lack of the unrestrained feeling of the past. ”
Isabel smiled and shook her head, and said to him, "The life of a thief is indeed free, but he worries a little more about his own life. ”
"Yes, Your Excellency. It is precisely for this reason that they are more willing to act as His Highness or your guard. ”
"Well, Francis, I'm coming to you today to talk about something else."
Later, Isabel sat Francis down and said, "A lawyer has come from the South." The lawyer, out of his own opinion, had different views and opinions on some of the things that were happening around the king and in the kingdom. Therefore, he intended to seek some sympathy and support in the north. ”
Francis speculated on her words, and then said slowly, "Ma'am, it seems that this lawyer is looking for someone to help him achieve his ideals?!" If I'm not mistaken, the nobles of the north will be his first choice. ”
Whatever he wants to do, God Almighty will know. Francis, I need you and three others to serve as this lawyer's guards for the time being, until he is safely out of the North. ”
"Your Excellency, are you saying that this gentleman lawyer is staying with His Highness at this time?"
"Yes. I am sure that at this moment Mr. Lawyer has informed His Highness of the grave consequences of the Ten Points promulgated by the Archbishop of Canterbury. ”
"It seems that this gentleman lawyer is another Catholic who wants to be forgiven by the Pope."
"Francis, you and the others must not only protect the personal safety of Mr. Lawyer in the northern counties, but also pay close attention to who he has contacted and what he has talked to. Can it be done? ”
Francis stood up and replied with a solemn expression, "Your Excellency, please rest assured that my brothers and I will always be by Mr. Lawyer's side. ”
Isabel nodded and said, "Good." Your Highness has promised me that I will not let Mr. Lawyer leave Richmondshire early tomorrow morning. ”
"Your Excellency, how long will this gentleman lawyer stay in the northern counties?"
"The person who asks for help always puts his hope in all the people he thinks can help him, you know?"
"I see, Your Excellency."
"Well, you and the others are going to make everything ready before dinner."
"Yes, Your Excellency."
At this time, Ferguson Congreve, who had been made a knight by Henry VIII last year, walked into the living room with a steady pace. A young male attendant with natural black curls holding the hilt of a knight's sword walked beside him with a solemn expression.
Francis Swift stood up, saluted Isabel and then Sir Alex Ferguson, and soon left the drawing-room. Ferguson glanced at Francis, who was leaving, saluted Isabel who was sitting on the side of the rectangular conference table, and chuckled, "Your Excellency, you look really good today, as beautiful as the sky outside." ”
"Sir, please be seated." Isabel said with a light smile.
When Ferguson sat beside her calmly, he said casually: "Your Excellency, it seems that a very special guest has come to meet His Highness today, do you know about this?" ”
Isabel glanced at the young squire standing not far behind Sir and did not speak, and Sir Alex Ferguson immediately turned to the squire and said, "Warren, go outside." ”
After the attendants had left, Isabel gave a general account of the London lawyer Robert Allthorp's visit to Henry and the purpose of his visit to the North. After hearing this, Ferguson frowned and said: "So, this London lawyer intends to ignite the flames of rebellion in the north?" ”
Isabel leaned back in her chair and said lightly, "Jazz, do you think he'll succeed?" ”
Ferguson stood up, paced with the hilt of the knight's sword in hand, and said, "Your Excellency, this bastard will not only succeed, but will also greatly stir up the growing resentment of the people of the north against the king. ”
