The relationship between Zhuangzi and Hui Shi also began to be in frequent contact with each other. If you believe in it again, it will only bind your hands and feet and your heart, and make it impossible for you to survive in troubled times.

In short, what Confucianism teaches you is to be clean, to be a gentleman, to do what you don't want to do, and so on, from the perspective and position of managing society and how to make society harmonious, rather than from the perspective and position of an individual.

From the perspective and position of individual people, everyone can do anything in order to survive and for their own desires. So! What does Confucianism think is the case? When society is chaotic, it cannot be managed.

On the surface, Confucianism seems to be a civilization that has progressed, but in reality it is not. Because! Society is a combination of people. People who do not pay attention to the individual, do not pay attention to the feelings of the individual and forcibly regulate the society and standardize the standards, must create a society full of lies and illusions. On the surface, everyone is forced to obey you and abide by the standards of behavior and morality you have set. Behind! Still going my own way. Therefore! There must be a society full of lies.

And Taoism is the philosophy of life and the philosophy of survival. So! Taoism heals the heart. Taoism is said that whenever you calm down and study, you will have a harvest, whether it is a prosperous era or a troubled era, it can give people enlightenment.

Taoists believe that we should not expect the society, the country, or others to manage and help us, but we must learn to help ourselves and help ourselves. That's fundamental! On the basis of self-help and self-help, we will look for helpers and partners. Help yourself first, help yourself, and then talk about marriage, family, family, group, country, the world!

Confucianism later also talked about "self-cultivation, family harmony, governing the country, and leveling the world", but the taste is different. Confucianism is still from the perspective of leadership, not from the perspective of individuals and mutual cooperation.

I'm a civilized person, and I can't be like others.

From a human point of view, it's fair that someone punches me and punches me back. Outcome! It is considered barbaric. And being punched by someone, on the contrary, is considered a "civilized person".

This is the result of the difference between Taoism and Confucianism.

How so? Hui Shi's head reaction is faster, it may have been practiced by him in officialdom, or it may have been practiced by him because of his good argumentation.

And what about Zhuangzi! The reaction is slower, and the person is honest, not knowing that Hui Shi is playing a trick on him. Often after answering truthfully, I know that I have fallen into the other party's trap. If you want to solve the problem, you must turn the topic back and start from the beginning. So! Every time something passes, Zhuangzi can straighten things out.

The debate between the two was well-intentioned because! Both of them were inspired to broaden their minds.

Accepting the invitation of King Wei Hui, Zhuangzi followed Hui Shi, and Hui Shi was responsible for eating and drinking along the way. Along the way, they talked as they walked, and they also debated endlessly along the way.

Taoists believe that man is a thing, the same as everything in heaven and earth, just a species. So! Man and all things should live in harmony, do not take themselves seriously, and do not think that man is the master of heaven and earth.

The position of human beings in heaven and earth is like the five internal organs in our body, which is mutual, and no one dominates anyone, and no one is the boss.

Who is the boss in heaven and earth? So! The Tao is the boss.

Since man is a species between heaven and earth, then! People should be ruthless. Do things have feelings? Are brutes affectionate? So! People are also ruthless.

Therefore! Hui Shi asked, "Are people inherently unfeeling?" ”

Zhuangzi said, "Yes".

Hui Shi said, "If a person has no affection, why can he still be called a human being?" ”

Zhuangzi said: "The Tao gives people a look, heaven and earth give them a form, and people are distinguished from other things, from oxen and horses, how can people not be called people?" ”

Hui Shi said: "If you have already been called a man, how can you be without love? ”

From the obvious! Hui Shi is changing the concept again. At the beginning, the "ruthlessness" was from the perspective of the Tao, from the perspective that human beings, like all things, are a species between heaven and earth. And now! Hui Shi jumps the concept to the concept of people.

Zhuangzi replied, "This is not what I am talking about. By ruthlessness, I mean that man is just a species in heaven and earth. So! Man should not hurt his own nature because of likes and dislikes, man should let nature and not add anything at will, man is just a species between heaven and earth. Life is just a process of life, and to live is to accomplish the task of being born as a human being. So! People are ruthless. ”

Hui Shi said: "If you don't add anything, what do you rely on to take care of your body?" What does man live on? Can't you skip a meal? ”

Zhuangzi replied: "The Tao gives people a look, heaven and earth give them a form, people cannot harm their own nature because of likes and dislikes, people should follow nature and do not add anything at will, man is just a species between heaven and earth." So! People are ruthless.
