Freedom in and out is freedom, otherwise you will never get a comfortable body, so it is called the only way, there is no difference between being a monk at home and being born into the world.

In the abbot-sized room of the Vimo monks, it can accommodate 3,000 worlds, so many people and so many huge seats, there is no difference in time and space.

More than 1,000 years later, Master Xuanzang's biography "The Biography of Mercy and Grace" recorded Master Xuanzang's personal experience of going to the abbot's room of Vimo Layman, which is a later story.

We've talked about it before. We all have an abbot's room, you can't find it yourself, and if you find it, you succeed.

The flowers scattered by the Heavenly Maiden fell on the great bodhisattva, and only when they fell on the disciples of the Voices, they all cuckolded.

What kind of flower is this? There are many kinds of flowers, such as the flower of fame and fortune, the flower of male and female love, and so on.

The Celestial Maiden later told Sariputta that smallpox was due to the unfinished practice of the great arhats of these disciples.

Although they practiced, the roots of the alayas were not cut out, and the remnants of the knots were not removed.

We talked earlier about a Zen master who watched a singer dance, and the Zen master said, "The Zen mind has become dry mud", and his realm is already smallpox.

In another case, an old lady supported a Zen master for three years, and one day, the old lady asked the girl who helped the Zen master deliver food to deliberately sit on top of the Zen master, hugged him, and watched his reaction.

The girl did so, but the Zen master did not move, but said, "The dead wood leans against the cold rock, and there is no heating in three winters." ”

Saying that he has no desires, this realm, okay?

But is smallpox still sticky when it falls on him?

It's still sticky, because his desires are suppressed by the practice of kung fu, and the rest of his habits are not broken.

So after the old lady found out, she hated that she had supported an idiot for three years, so she burned the thatched tent and drove away the Zen master.

Why is that? Could it be that the old lady wants the mage to break the vows? See this case! It is called a public case because everyone in the world must understand it.

There is another public case, there is a Zen master who went to a layman to turn into a fate, this layman is not simple, and he has already realized it.

He asked, "What about when the ancient mirror is not polished?" ”

In the past, the mirror was made of copper, and of course the ancient mirror that was not polished could not be illuminated.

The Zen master replied, "Black as lacquer." ”

Ask again: "What if the ancient mirror has been polished?" ”

The Zen master replied, "Shine on the heavens and the earth." ”

This sound like a good answer, but the layman immediately rebuked the Zen master.

What do you think is wrong with this answer? This is Zen Buddhism.

The Zen master ate the stick, and now the words are saying that he is deflated, not beating people with incense boards.

He went back to work hard, and came again three years later, and the layman asked him these two sentences again, and he replied: "This is not far from Hanyang" when it is not grinded, and it is "Parrot Island in front of the Yellow Crane Tower" after grinding.

Good! And immediately the lay man offered to him. What are these words? Whether you understand it or not, this is Zen.

These three cases are related to smallpox.

Another thing, according to legend, is the origin of Zen Buddhism, one day Shakyamuni Buddha picked up a branch of flowers, looked at the disciples, everyone did not understand what the Buddha meant, only the Venerable Kasaba smiled, the face is to say that the original serious face turned into a smile.

The Buddha then announced that he would deliver the Dharma to the Venerable Kasya.

So the origin of Zen Buddhism is a flower, is this flower the same flower as the flower scattered by the goddess?

This is an important key.
