Chapter 1079 - Divine Power of Freedom (9)

There are too many wrong views on the path, and a little bit of it is an evil view, in other words, a wrong view that falls into the five views. Evil is crooked, so whoever thinks that there is a master is an evil view.

There are 62 views, 62 opinions, and 62 wrong ideas in the Prajna Sutra, which hinder enlightenment. In fact, no matter whether it has sixty-two or one hundred and eighteen, it is to remove the self-appearance, the human appearance, the sentient beings, and the long-lived appearance in a single thought, and do not have subjectivity.

The Medicine King Nyolai tells us here that the true Dharma offering should be "free from all evil views", and if you can get rid of it, you will attain the Tao. That's why I often quote "One thought is not born and is fully embodied, and the six roots are only moved by the clouds." "If the exam asks you: How can a bodhisattva attain lifeless forbearance? You can use the passage of the Vimala Sutra to answer the question: "Follow the twelve causes and conditions, leave all evil views, and have no life to endure." Even to simplify it a little more, it is correct to answer "from all wrong opinions".

It is decided that there is no self, there are no sentient beings, and there is no violation and no blame for karma. When you have proved that there is no way to endure life, you will have absolutely no self, no sentient beings, and you can see the karma very clearly, and you are very afraid, and you dare not deviate or argue at all. To say that there is no cause and effect when there is emptiness is also a great misconception.

Back then, I was on CD, and the abbot of the CD Wenshu Monastery gave me a post asking me to eat vegetarian fasting. This is very serious, so I hurried to my teacher, and the teacher said that he also received the post, and the abbot wants to interrogate you! I heard that you are young and enlightened, and I want to judge you, there are six tables of people, all of them are old monks, will you go?

I said, of course I want to go, at best I will kill my head, not to mention that the monk will not open the precept of killing.

When it came to dinner that day, everything was fine, and the abbot was very polite and let me sit on the highest seat, and even my teacher sat in the lower seat. After the meal was over, the old monk asked me to speak, and this time it began, and everyone here could ask questions, but fortunately, I could deal with it. Finally, the old monk asked a question:

"Is it the proof of non-life and forbearance to attain emptiness?" I replied, yes.

"Is there any cause and effect when it's empty?" I said of course.

"How can voidness have cause and effect?" I say that emptiness is the cause and nirvana is the effect.

When the old monk heard this, he sat down and stopped talking. This is finally passed, the old monk is compassionate, he is afraid that if I realize emptiness, I will "remove no cause and effect", which is very serious. But when it comes to true enlightenment, cause and effect are even more obvious. Why? You have a vacuum, and you can see more clearly as soon as you have a little something.

Because ordinary beings are not empty, they can't see karma clearly, and they are blocked by pollution. Therefore, the ancients said that the Bodhisattvas of the Empty Sect who learned Prajna were like "walking on the edge of the ice, the blade of the sword going up", walking on the edge of the frozen mountain, and walking on the edge of the sword, it was very dangerous. No matter what bodhisattva realm you learn, it's still the six realms of reincarnation.

"Leave me." The question is, what is selflessness when a person really achieves selflessness? You have to add this sentence of the Vimala Sutra to it, and practice it well, because you are "detached from all of you", and the body to which I belong and the thoughts and delusions to which I belong are empty. I always remind everyone that this body is not me, it belongs to me, and I have the right to use it, but it is not me. The house you live in is yours and you have the right to use it, but you are not the house, and the house does not follow you when you die. So even if you get emptiness, this emptiness is also mine. True selflessness is detachment from self. The one who can know me and what is not me has not moved, there is no need to leave, I am the only one in heaven and the world. Congratulations if you can get in.
