There is also a similar story of the Heavenly Maiden in China, when there was a Li elder Li Tongxuan, who was a descendant of Tang Taizong, a member of the imperial family, he was not a monk, but he was not at home, and he was the first person to fully annotate the Huayan Sutra.

He took the Huayan Sutra and paper, pen and ink, went to the mountains to find a place to write notes, and when he came across a tiger lying on the ground, he stepped on the tiger's back, and the tiger carried him to a cave, and he lived in the cave to write, and two heavenly maidens took turns to bring him food and light lamps for him day and night.

There is also a Daoxuan Master, who lives in a thatched tent on Zhongnan Mountain, and is also a celestial maiden.

There are many records of this kind in the "Biography of High Monks", and there are also such records in Taoism.

There is a celestial maiden in the Vimo Layman's room, which is usually invisible.

At this time, the goddess in the Vimo monk's room appeared, and the flowers were scattered in the air, of course, not the orchids and plum blossoms in the world, but smallpox, not the smallpox of infectious diseases.

When the ceiling is sprinkled on the bodhisattva's body, it can't stick and fall, but in the big disciples of the shravakas, such as the great Buddha, Ananda, Sariputta, and the Venerable Mulian, the flowers stick to the body.

These disciples panicked, the flowers stuck to the monks and broke the precepts, and it was not good to shake the flowers off in a big move, otherwise they would commit the precepts again, and they really didn't know what to do.

Those who have supernatural powers use their supernatural powers, and those who practice qigong do their work, but it is useless.

At that time, Heaven asked Sariputta, "Why did you go to China?" ”

He replied: "This Hua is not as good as the law, it is to go." ”

Then the goddess asked Sariputta why she wanted to get rid of smallpox.

He replied, "It's not good for a monk to wear flowers. ”

As we sang when we were children: "Women wear flowers, Guanyin Bodhisattva; The man wears flowers, and the turtle king is eight. ”

Tian said: "Don't say that this Huawei is not as good as the law, so what?" There is no distinction between Hua, and the benevolent ones think about their ears separately. ”

The Celestial Maiden told him, "Don't think so, why? This is not a flower in the world, there is no difference between fragrant and smelly, beautiful and ugly, good and evil, you think that wearing flowers and breaking the vows is your own mental separation, idealism. ”

If you become a monk in the Dharma, there is a difference, and it is not as good as the Dharma. If there is no difference, then it is the same.

The Heavenly Maiden continued to teach these shravaka disciples that if you become a monk and learn the Dharma from the Buddha, if you start to discriminate, it is not the Dharma, but if you cultivate to the undifferentiated mind, it is the true Dharma.

If you have the delusion of discrimination, you will be guilty of breaking the precepts, and if you do not have the delusion of discrimination, you will be able to follow the Fa, and only then will you be considered keeping the precepts.

If you have been ordained, pay special attention.
