Chapter Eighty-Eight: Wake Up
The next morning, Leon woke up from his coma and slowly opened his eyes, which saw him see the white ceiling of the hospital.
"Ludwig......," he cried weakly.
"Führer, what are you talking about?" The nurse on duty heard Leon's weak voice, hurried to his side, put her ear close to Leon, and asked softly.
"Ludwig......" Leon said weakly again.
"All right, Führer, I'll go and call Chief Ludwig." The nurse straightened up and ran out of the room to the next door.
"Sir Ludwig!" The nurse rushed into the next room in a hurry.
Ludwig was standing by the window, looking out at the scenery, and it was not difficult to tell from his haggard face that he had not slept all night last night.
"What's the matter?" Ludwig asked with a frown when he heard the nurse's shout.
"Führer, Führer, he's awake!" The nurse said excitedly, "He's calling your name, come over quickly!" ”
"Woke up?!" Ludwig's eyes widened and he said in surprise, "I'll go now!" ”
"Wait, sir, you can't just go into the ward." The nurse stopped the excited Ludwig, "You have to disinfect your whole body and change into a sterile gown before you can go in!" ”
"Good!" Ludwig said yes, and then followed the nurse to disinfect it.
More than ten minutes later, Ludwig entered Leon's ward in a clean white sterile gown, and some of the doctors and nurses on duty in Leon's room walked out in a familiar manner.
"Führer, I'm coming." Ludwig sat on a stool beside Leon's bed and whispered to Leon.
"Ludwig ......" Leon's face was still pale and his voice was inaudible, "Sophia...... Sophia, how is she? Are there any injuries? ”
"Rest assured, Führer, Madam, she is not hurt." Ludwig comforted in a low voice, "I was frightened, I slept last night, and I just fell asleep, do you want me to wake up Madame and let him come?" ”
"No......," Leon said as he paused, gasping for a few breaths before continuing, "let her sleep." What about the Assassins? Were they solved? ”
"It's all solved, I have a few live mouths, and I'll dig out the information from their mouths myself later." Ludwig's words revealed a hint of coldness, "I will find the mastermind behind it, and I will make him pay!" ”
"How's Germany doing? Is there a problem with the social order? Do people know about my injuries? ”
"You don't have to worry, the government is functioning normally, a state of emergency has been declared across the country." "The people don't know what happened to you, and the social order is generally normal." ”
"That's good." Leon closed his eyes, "I want to take a break, you go out first." ”
"Yes! Monarch. You can call me anytime you have something! Ludwig stood up, gave a German salute, and then turned and walked out of the door of the ward.
"Doctors and nurses, the Führer will ask you." Ludwig said earnestly to a group of doctors and nurses outside the door.
"This is what we should do, and we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety of the Führer!" The doctors and nurses said with firm eyes.
"Thank you then." Ludwig smiled, "I still have something to deal with, and if anything happens, you can have the SS soldiers come to me." As he spoke, he gestured to the SS soldier who was standing straight to the side.
With that, Ludwig went back to his room and changed into his blood-stained SS uniform, walked outside the hospital and took a car away.
It wasn't long before Ludwig arrived in front of a prison, and he got out of the car and walked towards it.
The prison was originally intended to house ordinary criminals, but yesterday it welcomed a few special "guests" - survivors of the assassination unit.
In order to strictly protect them from being rescued, or to prevent them from committing suicide, the prison deliberately emptied the basement floor, renovated several cells inside, arranged for dozens of prison guards to take turns guarding them, and tied the prisoners to death, even wearing braces on their teeth.
Ludwig, led by several SS soldiers, went to the basement level and looked at the prisoners inside from the outside of the cell.
"These bastards are pretty comfortable!" Ludwig sneered and said, "But they may not feel well later." ”
"The interrogation room is ready." The warden stood beside Ludwig and said respectfully.
"Good, you're doing a great job." Ludwig patted the warden on the shoulder, much to the warden's flattery.
"Take me to the interrogation room and bring these bastards one by one."
"Okay." The warden nodded, and then led Ludwig to the interrogation room, motioning for the guards to bring a prisoner over.
The prison guard nodded, and walked into the cell with a few companions, selecting the prisoner like a fat sheep to be slaughtered.
"That's it, take it!" The guards pointed to one of them, and the other guards rushed forward, untied the ropes and chains that bound the prisoner to the chair, and escorted him outside.
The man seemed to know what awaited him in front of him, and he began to struggle desperately.
"Still want to resist?" The prison guard said with a sneer, and then several sticks were whipped on the prisoner, "I'll let you move!" ”
The prisoner was quickly whipped up and stopped resisting, and he turned to plead: "Let me go, let me go!" I still have children, I still have a wife! ”
"Kid? Wife? Now that you are dying, you don't think of them? A prison guard said disdainfully.
"What do you have to talk to him?" Another prison guard said impatiently, "If you dare to assassinate the Führer, if I were the chief judge, I wouldn't bother to say anything to him, until I am killed!" ”
After a while, the prisoner with a desperate face was dragged by the prison guards to the interrogation room, and then tied him to an iron stool in the middle of the interrogation room.
"I want you to know who I am, and you know my methods." After the prisoner had been tied, Ludwig spoke, "So I want you to tell me everything you know, so that you will have less pain and I will have less trouble." ”
"Nope! No! The prisoner shook his head in pain.
"What a nuisance!" Ludwig shook his head, got up from his chair, and walked over to him.
Immediately afterward, the prison guards outside heard only screams from the interrogation room, as if it was hell inside.
It didn't take long for the screams to subside, and finally vanished.
"Next." Ludwig's icy voice rang out.
After an unknown number of hours, an Assassin finally couldn't stand the physical and mental torture and called out: "He is the owner of a grocery store in Berlin!" His shop is on Kudam Street! I don't know anything else, please, give me a good time! ”
"Kudam Street? Very good! Ludwig reached out and twisted his neck and said with a sneer.
"Sir, is the interrogation over?" The prison guard asked in horror when he saw Ludwig, covered in blood, coming out of the room.
Ludwig didn't speak, just nodded.
"And what about the rest of the people?"
"Tortured to death." Ludwig said emotionlessly, "It's time for you to practice your interrogation skills!" ”
