Chapter 986: Prajna is Delusion (I)
In the same way, keeping vows, forbearance, perseverance, meditation, and wisdom are all dedication to all wisdom. Because generosity, vows, forbearance, perseverance, and meditation all depend on wisdom. I often say that it is very difficult to do good deeds, and it is necessary to do it with wisdom.
Without wisdom, you feel like you're doing a good deed, but you actually add to the troubles of others. Therefore, the six degrees of ten thousand actions are based on wisdom, and the study of Buddhism is the study of wisdom, not superstition. Therefore, "wisdom is the return to all wisdom", wisdom refers to ordinary wisdom, and all wisdom is the wisdom of enlightenment.
If you understand this truth, you will know that the behavior of the world is to cultivate the worldly law, and to be able to enter the world by cultivating the worldly law.
I'm still talking about a fellow monk today, who knows how to go out and cultivate the way, and if he doesn't understand the world's teachings, this path is in vain, and he can't get up and walk it. It can only be empty, empty and cannot be used.
When Shakyamuni became a Buddha, he still had to come out to educate sentient beings, he knew everything, for example, he also knew how to herd cattle, and even knew how to cut clothes. He has obtained all wisdom, that is, the world's law must be passed, and this is called the only way to enter the world.
To summarize the report of the Bodhisattva of Endless Intentions, in the six realms of ten thousand elements, we can achieve enlightenment if we have really achieved any point in our practice, and we do not need to find any other methods. For example, there is a rule in the inner generosity, and all the fates are put down.
Wanyuan slowly let go of the troubles, just let go of the thought, and when meditating, even the heart of seeking tranquility is let go, and the inner blessing can be done, and all wisdom can be achieved.
The question is easy to tell, but how hard you can really let go.
Some people say that if you let go, you will be drowsy, then you have to put down the drowsiness! Hey, that's the problem, how do you put the slumber down?
To be honest, drowsiness is a habit. For example, the Buddha also said, why do people sleep? There are two reasons, one is physiological fatigue, so you need to sleep when you get into a drowsiness; One is mental fatigue, using the brain and thinking a lot, mentally tired, and wanting to sleep. This sleep is a realm, it is a habit, you can check out this habit, and let go of the sleepiness, that is really letting go. Letting go of nature and dedicating to all wisdom is the only way.
The Bodhisattva of Deep Wisdom said: It is emptiness, it is non-appearance, and it is non-action. Emptiness is no phase, and no phase is no doing. If there is nothing to do, then there is no mind. In the one gate of liberation, that is, the door of three liberations, is the only way to enter the two gates.
There are a total of 32 bodhisattvas in the Vimala Sutra who report on the only way to practice, which seems to be the 25 bodhisattvas in the Sutra that report on the practice of the Yuantong method. I reminded you last time, have you paid attention to the calculations?
The previous bodhisattva was talking about the six perfections, and this one was talking about the three liberation gates of Mahayana.
The three gates of liberation are emptiness, non-appearance, and non-action. Nothing is translated into wishlessness in some scriptures. I feel strange when I see someone who has no wishes, don't you have to read "Fuxian Xing Wishes" to learn Buddhism? Isn't it necessary to make a vow to study Buddhism? Wishlessness is actually to do nothing, to do without doing. If we can grasp these three gates of liberation, we will know all the teachings of the Dharma, and to study Buddhism is to grasp the three gates of liberation at any time.
When it comes to emptiness, for example, the Heart Sutra says that "all dharmas are empty", and the Diamond Sutra says that "all the Dharma is like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such."
How difficult it is to study Buddhism and enter emptiness! Tantra, especially the Yellow Sect, must have the correct view of Madhyamaka in order to see the fundamental wisdom of the Tao.
What is Madhyamaka? It is neither empty nor existent, that is, empty is existent. The premise of attaining Madhyamaka correct view is to see emptiness first, and to see the empty side first, which can also be said to be seeing emptiness.
After understanding the emptiness of nature and the emptiness of nature, the first step in learning Buddhism is taken, not theoretically, but both physically and mentally.
Now I understand all the speeches, this is a theory, it is useless. Even if you can memorize the Buddhist scriptures backwards, the Buddha is very good, and it will be useless when life and death come.
Don't talk about life and death, even if you have a cold, you can't stop it, you look empty, sneeze and fight, and when you're hungry, you go to see in the air, and you're still hungry and can't stand it.
Those who have attained emptiness have absolutely no problem. So what is enlightenment? What is preaching? It is the whole body and mind thrown into it. Just like this cup of tea, boiled water brews tea leaves with taste, you only talk empty words, no matter how fragrant and strong the talk is, boiled water is still boiled water.
This emptiness has to be attained, and attaining emptiness is not a complete achievement of the Dharma, but only a beginning. If you have to know the dependent arising, and if the vacuum has to play a wonderful role, then the Dharma will go one step further. But this is not a success, and it is necessary to be empty and non-empty, to be non-existent, that is, to be void and non-existent, and to be able to truly understand the dependent arising and voidness of prajna-voidness, and this principle is the correct view of Madhyamaka.
Is this emptiness the end? Absolutely. In the end, we have the correct view of Madhyamaka, and even the middle is not in the middle, and it is completely empty, so it is said that it is the emptiness of the sexual sect after all. How can this state of emptiness be attained? The students here sat up and tried their best to seek emptiness, where is the reason why they can't find it? Just because you're busy begging for space, it's really empty. You know, it's the emptiness that empties you, not the emptiness that empties it.
