Master Xuanzang looked at these three pious hearts, so he said: "Back then, after the Buddha passed away, he left these 84,000 relics, and every moment is a supreme treasure. Since it is a supreme treasure, there will be believers who will pay attention to this misdeeds and want to take it for themselves. Therefore, in order to prevent the loss of this treasure, there is this theory of shadow bone relics. The shape is not much different from the real relic, on the one hand, to prevent the destruction of the real body relic, and on the other hand, to promote the Dharma and convey the true meaning of the Buddha. And this shadow bone relic, naturally is enshrined at the same time as the real body relic, as for how this relic flowed to our Tang Dynasty, I have not been, but from the time of chanting the Buddha, the various wonders felt have shown that this relic, can still carry forward the Dharma. ”

After listening to Master Xuanzang's words, the three of them suddenly understood that this relic was originally called a shadow bone relic. So, the doubts in my heart were immediately solved.

Hearing that Master Xuanzang and Wang Xuance were coming, he hurriedly ordered someone to invite them in quickly. After entering this Lizheng Palace, after performing the etiquette, he still got the treatment of this Li Zhi's seat. But seeing that Li Zhi was still sitting at the round table, and Mei Niang was taking care of the three children.

The first to speak was Master Xuanzang, who saw him smiling and said to them: "Your Majesty and Niangniang, the old monk has already known that this matter of the Buddha's relics is something that you are puzzled about, and I came here today to answer questions and solve doubts." ”

I heard that Master Xuanzang came for this Buddha's relic. Looking at the slightly stable children, Wu Meiniang immediately ordered the attendants to take them to the apse for the time being, so that they could be taken care of, and she also listened attentively to the story of Master Xuanzang.

So Master Xuanzang not only told them the two of them about the shadow bones. He also explained to them in detail the things that were enshrined in the palace of the five Indian Holisha countries.

Hearing the causes and consequences of this Buddha's finger relic, the doubts in the hearts of the two were immediately relieved. I never thought that my Datang would have such a unique relic, and I was immediately overjoyed.

After listening to this Mei Niang whispering in Li Zhi's ear sincerely, she looked at Li Zhi and agreed with a smile. So he said to the two of them: "Since this relic is unique, the palace and His Majesty have also felt that they should be sincerely worshipped, although they have built this Ashoka Pagoda, but it feels not too grand, so the palace decided to build a gold coffin and silver coffin to treasure this Buddha finger relic, I don't know what the master wants." ”

"Your Majesty, this must not be, the ninefold is the saying of the Son of Heaven, so since then, is it too prosperous" Master Xuanzang has experienced too many things, and knows the philosophy of this prosperity and decline, so he hurriedly resigned.

I only heard this Li Zhi take this and say: "Hey, we have already seen the glory of this Buddha, so this is nothing, and the master does not have to refuse." ”

The Buddha, who lived a simple life, could not have imagined that he would enjoy such a high treatment in China, and his spiritual bones lay in a golden coffin and silver coffin that only the Son of Heaven could enjoy.
