Chapter 382: The More the Truth Is Debated, the Clearer It Becomes

Time passed imperceptibly, and the East had turned white.

Zhuangzi preached, very much in the style of Yang Zhu back then, and as soon as he talked about it, he talked endlessly. One link after another, interlocking, making it impossible to refute.

Several white-haired old monsters wanted to interrupt Zhuangzi's preaching and argue with Zhuangzi several times. But! Before they could argue, Zhuangzi gave an explanation.

Others listened to Zhuangzi's preaching and were also impressed by Zhuangzi's eloquence. They felt that what Zhuangzi said was a true and wise saying.

The two gray-clad mages stood to the side, all the time in good spirits, their eyes wide open. The black-clothed senior brother sat cross-legged at the door, listening to the sermon while observing the surrounding movements to protect Zhuangzi.

It was the first time for the shopkeeper to listen to Zhuangzi's preaching, and he listened quite carefully, not missing a word, and did not fall asleep at all.

Only the seller, in the second half of the night, couldn't hold on any longer, leaned on the head of the bed and dozed off. But? She didn't sleep so deeply, and woke up from time to time. Since she dozed off in the second half of the night, she never remembered what Zhuangzi said, and she had that feeling of being in a fog.

"What is the difference between a Dharma Protector and an ordinary Taoist?"

Suddenly! A white-haired old monster interrupted Zhuangzi and asked.

After listening to so much, he always felt that the protector mentioned by Zhuangzi seemed to be very powerful, but also seemed to be very stupid and different.

"The Taoist protector you said seems to be the same as the swordsman of the Mo family, and it feels terrifying! It seems to be a Taoist tool for killing? ”

"Yes, yes, yes! So? Zhuangzi? What do I want to ask? What is the difference between a Dharma protector and an ordinary Taoist disciple? Why should we be Dharma protectors and not ordinary Taoist disciples? ”

"I also think that Taoism can't do without a protector, doesn't it? So? If? Without a protector, wouldn't Taoism be finished? ”

"I think too? What do ordinary Taoists do? They don't seem to be doing anything, huh? ”

"That's it! Why? As if the Protector deserved to die? I want to ask? What do ordinary Taoists do? They only know how to listen to the sermon, and they usually do nothing and avoid the world? ”

“……”

Under the questioning of a white-haired old monster, several other white-haired old monsters and protectors all spoke one after another and asked questions.

Seeing that everyone asked, Zhuangzi thought about it and felt that it was also true, today's talk is all about Dharma protectors, and does not talk about the basic performance of ordinary Taoism. What kind of person is considered a Taoist? Do Taoists expect Dharma protectors to protect the Dharma for them if they don't do anything?

When Mai'er heard someone criticizing Zhuangzi, he woke up suddenly. Saw! She sat up straight, and! He stared at the bottom of the bed one by one.

Those who looked at Zhuangzi and waited for Zhuangzi to answer, when they saw that Sell'er had come to see it, they all lowered their heads one by one.

They all saw the hostility of the seller in their eyes.

The two gray-clothed mages standing on either side of the bed also moved, and they were also like sellers, looking at whoever spoke, and their eyes were full of hostility.

The black-clothed senior brother who was sitting cross-legged at the door saw that everyone was embarrassed by Zhuangzi, and he also sweated for Zhuangzi.

Seeing that the atmosphere was tense, Zhuangzi smiled slightly. Not only is he not angry at this phenomenon, on the contrary! Also very happy.

The truth becomes clearer the more it is argued!

Only when the truth is explained clearly and everyone understands it can it be effective.

"I'm mainly talking about Dharma protectors today, and I don't talk about Taoism in general."

Zhuangzi glanced at everyone, finally! fixed his eyes on Mai'er, signaling that Mai'er should not be like that. What are you doing? Don't you allow others to ask? So what kind of sermon do you preach? Others don't understand before asking? You can't tell you what else you're preaching. Isn't it?

Seeing Brother Zhuang glaring at her, Mai'er quickly lowered her head and pretended not to see it.

"Now! Let me compare the protectors of Taoism with ordinary Taoists! ”

Zhuangzi continued: "Actually! The protector is also a Taoist, so I don't want to say more about this! The protector comes from Taoism, and he is a Taoist himself.

What is the difference between a Dharma protector and a general Taoist?

As I have said before, a protector is a person who has experienced death, and a protector is a person who has no relatives to care about. It is precisely for this reason that they went to serve as Dharma protectors, making sacrifices for the spread of Taoist doctrine and ideas and the status of Taoism at any time.

Because they are people who have died once or several times, so! That's why they're willing to do it. As I said earlier, the Dharma Protector does it voluntarily, not when someone else forces you to do it, and it doesn't force you to do it yourself. You can choose not to be a protector, you can choose to be an ordinary Taoist, you can live in seclusion in the mountains and forests. Whatever you want! Taoism is about freedom, and no one can restrain you or force you. You are also not bound by others. If you think you're a fool to be a protector, you can't do it? Isn't it?

Why do Taoists generally do nothing? What is the difference between Taoism and Dharma protectors?

As I said earlier, I am not a qualified preacher because I have a mother and I have a family! I have Rong'er and Sister Qing'er, and I will have Mai'er and our children in the future! Because of my worries and drags, I can't be a protector, I can't sacrifice myself!

Who will take care of my mother when I die? Who will take care of my wife and children? Isn't it?

We Taoists do not easily believe in others and society, and do not easily believe in the set of Confucianism that 'sacrifices one's life for righteousness'. In fact, it also proves that only when we take care of our relatives, take care of our parents, wives and children can we rest assured, and we can't count on others!

In fact, it also proves that there are many Confucian disciples, how benevolent, righteous and moral they talk about, but they can't even take care of their fathers, wives and children, and they still say that 'loyalty and filial piety cannot be both'. They can't take care of their own families, so do we Taoists still expect them to take care of our parents, wives, and children? Do we still expect this society to take care of our parents, wives, and children?

It's okay for them to deceive themselves, it's okay to deceive fools, they can't deceive Taoists! Taoist! Don't believe that! Taoists only believe in themselves, only in the people around them, and in the people they are familiar with! People and things that are too far away do not believe.

But! It's not that we dogmatically don't trust others or this society! But! Can't fully believe it. Don't count on, don't rely on!

We have to believe in ourselves!

So! As a Taoist! As people who have been influenced by the ideas of Taoism, we must live well. Only when we are alive can we take care of our parents, wives, children and offspring! Only when we are alive can we feel the joy of life. Only when we are alive can we do our best to take care of the people around us, to take care of more people, to take care of the people in the world......

It is for this reason that we ordinary Taoists are unknown! Only when we can no longer live in this world, can no longer take care of our loved ones. Only when we have lost our loved ones, lost everything, have only one life left, and have nothing to worry about, will we become protectors!

This is the difference between a protector and a general Taoist.

If you think you're stupid, then! Don't be a protector! Since we are protectors, we must have no regrets! ”
