Because this pistol is extremely precise, some important parts, including ammunition, cannot be manufactured by hand in this era, and must be made by Ye Chuchu, so even if it spreads, it is not afraid of being "copycated", because the skilled craftsmen of this era cannot imitate it at all.

But flintlock pistols are different.

The flintlock got its name from its flintlock bolt (french fusil, i.e. fire sickle), the bolt of this gun was simplified from the flintlock ignition rotary fire rifle, its mechanical structure was very similar to that of the later arquebus, but the flintlock fire sickle was also the cover of the fire door, and a stronger hammer spring was used to ensure sufficient impact force; As a result, both the trigger force and the wrenching hammer are more laborious and less accurate than the arquebus. However, compared to the arquebus, which "fought a day with a long arquebus on its back", the advantages of a flintlock pistol that only required a few small pieces of polished flint flakes were self-evident. Compared with arquebuses, the biggest advantage of flintlock pistols is not only that they do not have to worry about the light of burning arquebuses and the unique smell of arquebuses at night to expose the target, but also have a faster rate of fire, a smaller caliber, a shorter body, a lighter weight, less recoil, and a higher range.

Compared with the arquebus, which only has an ignition rate of about 50%, the flintlock pistol has an ignition rate of more than 85% because of its structural advantages. At the beginning of the 17th century, the advent of paper-shelled bullets further increased the rate of fire of flintlock pistols. The key to the paper-shell bullet is the time saving in the reloading step: it is a paper cartridge covered with grease on the outside, which contains a certain amount of gunpowder and a projectile weighing 20 to 30 grams. To use it, the gunner only needs to bite the cartridge open with his teeth, pour part of the gunpowder inside into the firing pool, and then stuff the remaining gunpowder and projectiles into the barrel with a strip. This simplification doubled the rate of fire of the flintlock pistol compared to the arquebus: flintoxers with paper-shelled bullets were able to fire at a rate of 2 to 3 rounds per minute or more, which allowed them to deliver a dense enough rain of bullets that they were no longer weak even in the face of cavalry charges.

Like Sun Hui's firecracker equipped with the Song army, limited by the technical conditions of this era, it still belongs to the arquebus, and Xiao Tiantian is also needed to help prevent the rain from falling so as not to wet the gunpowder when fighting in rainy weather, there are many deficiencies that need to be improved, and there are flintlock muskets on the Vietnamese side, although there is no large-scale equipment for the Vietnamese army, but it is enough to arouse the vigilance of Sun Hui and others.
