Chapter 1044: Bodhisattva Walk (5)

To return to the original principle of doing all good, eliminating all evil, and eliminating all evil, we must achieve the three karma of purifying the body, mouth, and mind.

The Buddhist view is that our body, mouth, and mind are creating negative karma at any time.

The mouth has the most negative karma, and there are four types: false speech, evil mouth, double tongue, and gossip.

Lying is lying, we lie almost all the time, the daily cold noise is the most, almost habitual lying; Evil mouth is scolding, not necessarily scolding rude words is scolding, sometimes literati scolding people is turning a corner to scold, that scolding is more powerful, it is also a bad mouth; Two tongues are to provoke right and wrong, and people like to talk about right and wrong the most when they are together; Gossip is witty words, flamboyant words, indecent words, and empty words.

There are three types of negative karma of consciousness: greed, hatred, and naivety, which are caused by mental thoughts.

Greed is the desire to possess, we are always in greed, even if you ask someone to help you do something, it is also greedy; Anger is the psychology of anger and complaining.

Complaining about the heavens and others is also hatred. There is no one who does not complain, even God has to complain about the rain and wind, there is a poem that says:

It's hard to be an April day

Silkworms should be mild and wheat should be cold

Pedestrians look at the sunny weather and the farmers look at the rain

The lady of the mulberry picker looks at the cloudy sky

It's easy for a person to work hard, but it's hard to complain.

People who have done great things in history are able to work hard, and they are even more able to bear grievances, and even have to accept the grievances of the world without regrets.

There are many characters who really bring all the wrongs into the coffin, and history is very unfair to them; Foolishness is not enough wisdom and the truth is not clear.

The three karmas of body, mouth and mind, turning them over into ten good karma, are the basic behaviors of learning Buddhism.

I often say that if you learn Buddhism slowly, you should learn to be a human being first, and if you want to learn the Mahayana path and become a Buddha, it is not so simple.

To be able to change the three karma of body, mouth, and mind is to get rid of all evil and not make mistakes.

If you can cultivate the ten good karmic paths of humanity, then cultivate the heavenly path, then cultivate the sound and hearing path, then cultivate the path of enlightenment, then cultivate the bodhisattva path, and finally become a Buddha.

This is the so-called five-vehicle path. The Lamrim by Lamrim by Lamrim is along this route.

He is based on the Torch of the Bodhi Path, written by Atisha, a patriarch in India, and the Torch of the Bodhi Path is an evolution of Maitreya's Treatise on the Land of Yogis.

Many people study tantra and don't understand this teaching, and they come back and recite a mantra with a bang, which is really nonsense.

Central Plains Buddhism also follows this order, and looking at the collection of Zen Master Yongjia, you know that he is also following this path.

That's why I often sigh, what kind of introduction to Buddhism are you reading? The introduction to true Buddhism is "The Theory of the Land of the Yogi", "The Treatise on Great Wisdom", "The Mahabha", "The Mirror Record", and "The Stages of the Path to Bodhi".

The Dharma Five-Vehicle's path is the five steps. Be careful! Learning humanity first is the ten good karma.

Cultivate the way of heaven again, so as to cooperate with meditation with perfection.

Then there is the Hinayana sound and awareness, then the meditation goes further, and the last is the cultivation of the Mahayana bodhisattva path.

Buddhism in the Central Plains is often the Mahayana Bodhisattva Dao from the beginning, and they have learned too much, so the people who study Buddhism in the Central Plains have become specialized in bragging, and they have not even laid a good foundation for humanity.

"Countless calamities of life and death, meaning and courage." Those who think they are students of Buddhism should pay attention! Many people's mentality is that they just want to cultivate this life and not come in the future.

Where are you going if you don't come?

You have to jump out of the Three Realms, but where is the Fourth Realm?

Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are all in the Three Realms, incarnating in hundreds of billions of incarnations, educating sentient beings in different identities and in different attitudes.

The Hinayana Arhats thought it was okay to come back for the sake of life and death, but in fact it was impossible!

No matter how long you decide, you will have to make a decision after all. You have to turn your mind to Mahayana, so that you will not be afraid of life and death, and only then will you dare to enter the world, and only then will you really be born and die.

When someone said that they wanted to save sentient beings, I said to him, "Stop bragging!" Even a few people in your family can't save it, so what kind of sentient beings can you save?

He said there was freedom of religion in his home.

Yes, because you can't afford it, you have to be free.

I don't dare to brag about this, sometimes people say that I am saving sentient beings, and I say, I'm sorry, I'm here to eat.
