The forest under the mountain is fragrant, there are strange rocks everywhere, there are stone niches, fairy bridges, five-color stone flowers, lion stones and so on.

Huabiao stone is divided into two layers, the lower layer is a steamed bun-shaped soil mountain, and the upper layer is a cylindrical stone mountain more than 60 zhang high. Looking at it from the Xijiang River by boat, the stone mountain is like a huge watch, straight into the sky. The boat turns with the river, the stone shape changes with the turn, for a moment it seems that a monk meditates cross-legged, and at a time it seems that a monk gets up to pack a burden, which is a wonder of the Xijiang River.

Speaking of Lu Jia's paving of Huabiao stone with mountain brocade, there is a story. At the end of the Qin Dynasty, Zhao Tuo took possession of South Vietnam. After the Han Dynasty set the Central Plains, sent Lu Jia to go down to Nanyue to say that Zhao Tuo returned to Han, Lu Jia took the Guiling, along the Xijiang River, passing through here, saw the strange stone abruptly weird, then set up a Jinbu Ridge to climb the mountain, made a wish to say, if you can persuade Zhao Tuo to return to Han, you should wrap the stone with brocade.

Later, Lu Jia got his wish, and went boating with Zhao Tuo to this point, that is, wrapped the stone with brocade, the brocade was insufficient, and the flowers were planted. Until now, rhododendrons are everywhere in spring, and yellow flowers are everywhere in autumn. There are brocade stones to support the empty poems: "Wuling Lingnan comes to the lonely pillar support, and Lu Lang is here to stay in Yunjing; No one knows the magic overseas, and the eternal things will never be poured. ”

The owner of the village told the plan in his heart: "Tomorrow I will call the whole village to dispatch, some people will go to the opposite hillside to plant plum trees, and others will go to level and repair the road into our cottage." ”

Huineng laughed: "I will also come to plant plum trees with you tomorrow." ”

The owner of Ding Zhai was a little reluctant: "These heavy jobs are going to bother you again?" ”

Huineng stretched out his calloused hands and raised them: "I have been going up the mountain to cut grass and collect firewood since I was sensible, and my hands are not idle." Besides, planting plum blossoms on Tianlu Mountain is also my wish! ”

Ding Zhai Master: "Okay, then, I will mobilize the people in the village to plant plum blossoms with you." ”

There is a small hill pier at the intersection of Shimen Valley and Chanlong Canyon next to the ancient post road at the northern foot of Tianlu Mountain, and the locals call it the Buddha Pier.

Huineng has a special preference for plum blossoms, and thinks that if the plum trees are planted here, the flowers of the green calyx plum trees that grow must be ice clear and jade, like Zen heart, dusty, ethereal and flawless, and look at the past to make people distracted and distracted.

Huineng especially took a fancy to the confluence of these two waters, and came here to plant plum trees whenever he had free time every day.

The land is fertile, the water is abundant, and the light is excellent, so those plum trees grow fast and well.

The mountain people of Tianlu Mountain love the plum tree very much, and they believe that the plum tree is the plum kernel left by the immortals such as Tie Guan Li when they came to Tianlu Mountain to hold the Hundred Fruit Banquet and absorbed the aura of heaven and earth.

Under the leadership of Huineng, the mountain people planted plum trees in a large area on the mountain, and it didn't take long for the plum trees on Tianlu Mountain to be all over the mountain.

Since then, Tianlu Mountain has been planted with plum trees. When the plum blossoms are in full bloom, they are wrapped in silver and are extraordinarily enchanting, becoming a beautiful and holy world, and also becoming a well-known mountain of white plums.

In the season of plum blossoms, up and down the mountain, a piece of white is boundless, like white clouds falling to the earth. The clusters of plum blossoms are so heart-warming, so festive, so gorgeous, and so delicate. The snow-white plum blossoms all over the mountains have formed a unique landscape, just like the northern scenery of "thousands of miles of ice, thousands of miles of snow drifting"!

The mountain breeze blows, the fragrance of plum blossoms ripples, intoxicating, it can be said that the mountain people are living in the sea of flowers, the world of incense, and they are at ease. On the other hand, when plum blossoms fall and plum trees bear fruit, countless green plums hang on the branches, and the fruits bend the branches. The harvested plums can be soaked in wine or sold as preserved fruits. In this way, the plum tree has brought them a lot of tangible benefits.

The people of Tianlu Mountain also selected the day when the plum blossoms bloomed in spring, and set it as the annual "Plum Blossom Festival" there.

Huineng has always had a soft spot for plum blossoms.

Later, Hui Neng left Tianlu Mountain to return to Huaiji, Sihui in the mountains and forests, incognito and practiced for fifteen years, and later saw that the time was ripe, out of the mountain to Guangzhou Fa Sex Temple, a sentence "not the wind moves, it is not the flag move, but the benevolent heart", such as thunder in the Buddha Gate exploded, shocked the four, so that the abbot of the Dharma Temple Master Yin Zong persuaded him to go out of the mountain. After the fall of the Fa Sex Temple, Hui Neng went north to Caoxi, Shaozhou in the following year to take charge of the Baolin Temple, ascended the altar and ascended to the throne as the six ancestors of Zen Buddhism, opened the Zen door, and promoted Buddhism. In the meantime, Huineng sent people back to Jianguo'en Temple in Longshan, Xinzhou, and tried to bring the plum trees of Tianlu Mountain back to Caoxi Baolin Temple and planted them widely. When he felt that he was about to die, he asked his disciples to bring some plum trees and return to his hometown of New State. Huineng and his entourage set off from Caoxi by boat, went down the Beijiang River, and went up the Xijiang River. After many days of driving, the boat moored at Duanzhou Wharf at dusk one day and stayed in a small nunnery in the west of the city. Early the next morning, the six ancestors Hui Neng inserted a Zen stick into the dry well to get a sweet spring, and planted plum blossoms on the hillside to remember. Since then, the plum blossoms of the small nunnery are in full bloom, and the fragrance is floating for ten miles. After the passage of time, this small nunnery in Duanzhou City has a reputation because the six ancestors Huineng once planted plum here, and it has spread far and wide, and has become a famous thousand-year-old monument at home and abroad - Mei Nunnery.
