Liezi's name is Yukou, a native of Zheng Guopu during the Warring States Period. A well-known representative of the Taoist school, a famous thinker, allegorist and writer. It was active between 450 BC and 375 BC.

Liezi is the author of the book "Liezi", which has had a profound impact on the philosophy, literature, science and technology, and religion of later generations.

Tang Xuanzong edicted Liezi as "Chongxu Zhenren" during the Tianbao period.

Liezi lived in poverty all his life, did not seek fame and fortune, did not enter the officialdom, lived in seclusion in Zhengdi for 40 years, and wrote 20 articles, about 100,000 words.

Liezi has written 20 books with more than 100,000 words. "Lü's Spring and Autumn" and "Corpse" both contain "Liezi Guixu".

Now circulating the book of "Liezi", in the pre-Qin has been studied, after the Qin disaster, Liu Xiang sorted out the "Liezi" when there were only eight articles, the Western Han Dynasty was still prevalent, the Western Jin Dynasty suffered from the Yongjia Rebellion, after crossing the river began to be incomplete. Later, it was collected and sorted out by Zhang Zhan to complete it. Today, there are eight chapters such as "Tianrui", "Zhongni", "Tang Wen", "Yang Zhu", "Shuofu", "Yellow Emperor", "King Mu of Zhou", and "Li Life", which are a total of "Liezi", and the rest of the chapters have been lost. Among them, there are more than 100 fables, such as "The Yellow Emperor's Divine Journey", "The Fool Moves the Mountain", "Praise the Father Chasing the Sun", "The Man Worries About the Sky", etc., all of which are selected from this book.

Zhuangzi once said in "Getaway": "Fu Liezi walks against the wind, and he is good, and there are five days in ten and then he reverses." He is not counted among those who are blessed. Although this is not to be done, there is still something to be treated. In the miscellaneous articles, there is also a special article "Lie Yukou", which also mentions Liezi.

In many documents such as "Warring States Policy", "Corpse", "Lü's Spring and Autumn", Liezi is also mentioned.

In modern times, many scholars who study Liezi believe that the book "Liezi" is a forgery, and that it was written by later generations in the name of Liezi. There are also a few scholars who believe that the content of Liezi's book is nonsense. In fact! Liezi was the first person to study the mind and psychology. Zhuangzi's study of the mind is based on Liezi.

"The real human body doesn't need to eat?" Zhuangzi asked in surprise.

Lie Yu Kou Liezi smiled: "Where is the need to eat?" I'm telling you! I don't know why. I? Every time I practice, after entering the state, I don't know that I'm hungry, I don't know the time, it's as if everything has stopped. But when I woke up, I knew I was hungry. Sometimes! I don't even know if I'm hungry. I don't really know what's going on, that's it! It was as if while I was practicing, my body stopped. I? I really don't know what's going on? ”

"Stopped?" Zhuangzi asked in surprise: "You have already reached this state of 'self-forgetfulness', haven't you?" ”

"Maybe!" Liezi looked frustrated.

"How do I know? So! I don't even dare to cultivate easily. I? Once I enter the state of cultivation, I? I? I stopped growing, I stopped everything! I'll be stuck at the age of 50 forever! Alas! I? ”

Zhuangzi smiled: "What's so bad about this? In the Great Zhou world, how many kings want to live forever, always be in the position of kings, and enjoy glory, wealth, and power. You! You're a national treasure! You! If the kings knew that you had this ability, they would not have invited you to ask them how to cultivate. ”

"What's good?" Liezi sighed: "When I entered the cultivation state, everything stopped? I don't know anything, huh? What's the point of a king learning this? When he learned this method, he entered the state of cultivation, and once he cultivated it, it would be days, months, or even years, and his position might be usurped by others. When he woke up, his glory and riches, his power was gone. I dare say, he's going to kill me! ”

Oh, yes! Kings want to live forever, to enjoy every day, all the time. But they don't want time to stop, do they? Your time stops, but someone else's time doesn't. When your time stops, you are "dead" and you have nothing to do. And others, while you are "dead", can continue their life plans and usurp your power, all you have!

But! Zhuangzi didn't want to dwell on this issue. What he cares about is cultivation, how can he achieve this state of "self-forgetfulness"?

Master told him that the highest state of Taoist cultivation is nothingness, so that everything can reach the state of "nothing"! "Keeping the mind in the heart" is the highest state of Taoist cultivation.

Taoist cultivation, first look inwardly and guard a certain place on your body, and then! Aim to keep the whole body. And then! Refine your body. And then! Let your body be refined into nothing, all the way to the final feather ascension......

Where to think! Liezi didn't even cultivate like this! He directly adopted the method of "self-forgetfulness", forgetting himself and letting life stop temporarily......

This is also a method of cultivation!

But? How does this work out?

"How did you achieve the state of 'self-forgetfulness'?" Zhuangzi asked again.

"Me? I don't know? I? After I entered the cultivation state, I didn't think about anything, I just sat cross-legged. Afterward! I really didn't think about anything anymore, and I didn't breathe anymore, and later! My heart doesn't beat anymore. And then later! I don't even know it myself! ”

"Someone is talking to you, and you don't know it, and you can't wake up? Aren't you afraid of being disturbed? ”

"Me? Where am I so powerful? I? ”

Liezi smiled bitterly: "At the beginning, I was like that. Later, I changed the environment, no one bothered me, and I was happy to cultivate whenever I wanted. And then later! I don't know what's going on, I was cultivating in the inn, and by the time I quit cultivating, it was already more than ten years later.

The inn was gone, and I found myself on a barren hill!

I took a serious look, it's really a vicissitude! What used to be a bazaar is long gone. Can me? I don't know what's going on? How did I get to this barren hill? I? What has happened in the past ten years? But? No one knows anymore. They just say that a fire destroyed everything in the original ......."

Zhuangzi also doesn't know if what Liezi said is true or false, so! Nor can it be explained. Again! If it's true, he can't explain it himself, and he's an outsider, what if he can?

If a person is really able to cultivate to the realm of "self-forgetfulness", then? That would be if the high realm? The realm of "self-forgetfulness" should be the same as the realm of "nothingness", and it should be that when a person reaches the realm of self-forgetfulness, he will feather and soar.

But? The column in front of you? But he's real!

If? Liezi, he has already feathered and ascended? He's just like the master back then, just recombined? After the master feathered and ascended, he once appeared in front of him, just like a real person.

Isn't it?

Zhuangzi had a bold idea: maybe? It is the column that has also been feathered and soared. Now Liezi, he is just a recombination of Feather Ascension, but he doesn't realize that he has Feather Ascension? So! He thought he wasn't dead!
