Chapter 715: Confessional Offering Sixth (II)
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! Now that you have taken refuge in the Three Jewels of Self-Nature, please listen attentively now! I will say for you again, 'Buddha of oneness and three bodies,' so that you can all see the three bodies of your own nature and clearly realize your true self-nature. Please follow me and say, 'Take refuge in the pure Dharmakaya Buddha in your own color body, return to the Buddha of Perfection in your color body, and return to the Buddha of hundreds of billions of incarnations in your own color body.' ’”
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! The body is like our own dwelling, so it is not enough to return. The three Buddhas of Dharmakaya, retribution, and emanation that I just mentioned are all in our own nature, and everyone in the world has them. It's just that our minds are delusioned by ignorance, and we can't see our inner nature, and we always look outward for the three-body Buddha, but we can't see the three-body Buddha that we already have in our own body. By listening to Me, you will be able to see in yourself the three-body Buddha of your own nature. These three-body Buddhas are born from their own nature, and they cannot be found from the outside. ”
Master Huineng said, "What is a pure Dharmakaya Buddha? The human mind of the world is originally pure and unblemished, and all the dharmas are born from their own nature. If you think about all evil things in your heart, you will produce evil deeds. If you think about all good deeds in your heart, good deeds will arise. In this way, all the good and evil dharmas are in their own nature, just as the sky is always clear, and the sun and the moon are always bright, but because they are obscured by floating clouds, they form the phenomenon of light at the top and darkness at the bottom. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew away the clouds, and the sky was naturally clear up and down, and everything would be clearly visible. The heart and mind are often floating, just like the clouds in the sky. ”
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! Wisdom is like the sun, wisdom is like the moon, wisdom is always as bright as the sun and the moon, but if you stay in the dust realm outward, you will be covered by the clouds of delusion, and your intelligence will not be clear. If you can encounter good knowledge and hear the truth of the Dharma, you will be able to get rid of the delusions and delusions in your heart, and the inner and outer light will be clear, and in your own nature, all the Dharma will naturally manifest one by one. The same is true of people who see sex. This is called the Pure Dharmakaya Buddha. ”
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! When one's mind returns to one's own nature, one is to return to the true Buddha. The so-called self-conversion is to get rid of the unkindness, jealousy, delirium, selfishness, delusion, contempt, contempt, contempt, condescension, condescension, and all the ungood actions in all times. Always reflect on your own mistakes and do not say what is good or bad about others, this is self-refuge. It is always necessary to have a humble heart and to be respectful to others in general, which is to see one's own nature and to be able to reach it without hindrance, and this is called self-return. ”
Master Huineng said, "What is the meaning of a perfect rebirth? For example, a lamp can break through the darkness of a thousand years, and a wisdom can destroy a thousand years of foolishness. Don't always think about the past, the things that have passed cannot be recovered, but always think about the future behavior, and think about the brightness, so that you can naturally see the nature of your own heart. Although good and evil are different, there is no difference in nature, and this non-dual nature is called reality. In reality, good and evil are untainted, and this is called the Buddha of Perfection. If the evil of a thought arises from one's nature, it can destroy the good causes that have been cultivated since eons of eternity. If a single thought of goodness arises from one's nature, it can destroy all the negative karma that is as abundant as the sands of the Ganges. From the initial beginning of the mind to the attainment of supreme bodhi, the mind sees one's own nature and does not lose one's righteous thoughts, which is called retribution. ”
Master Huineng said, "What is a hundred billion incarnations? If we don't think about all the laws, our own nature is like a clear sky; If you have a thought about the ten thousand laws, it is called a change. When you think about evil things, your mind can change into the realm of hell. When you think about good deeds, your mind can be transformed into the realm of heaven. When the thought of poison arises, the mind can change into the realm of a dragon and a snake; When the thought of compassion arises, the mind can change into the state of a bodhisattva; When one's nature reveals wisdom, one's mind can change into the realm of the heavens in the upper realm; When one's own nature is obsessed and foolish, one's mind can change into the realm of the following three paths. There are so many changes in one's nature that foolish people can't realize it, and their thoughts give rise to nausea, so they often walk in the evil paths. If one can turn one-thought kindness into one's mind, one can give birth to prajna wisdom, which is called self-incarnation of a Buddha. ”
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! Originally, the Dharmakaya is sufficient for everyone, and if you can see your own nature by thinking about it, you are a Buddha who is reincarnated. To think about the ten thousand laws from the body and use wisdom is to incarnate a Buddha. Self-enlightenment, self-cultivation of self-nature merits, is true refuge. The skin and flesh are the color body, and the color body is like a dwelling, and it cannot be said to be a return. As long as one can realize the three bodies in one's own nature, one will know one's own nature Buddha. ”
Master Huineng said, "I have a poem that I have not seen, and if I can recite and receive it, it will be able to wipe out the sins that you have created due to confusion for many lifetimes. "Song said:
Charming people only know the way of cultivation, so they only say that cultivation is the way of cultivation.
Although giving and offering can be blessed, it is originally the creation of the three evils in the heart.
If you want to extinguish your sins by cultivating blessings, you will still be there in the next life.
Only by eradicating the causes of sin in one's own heart can one practice true repentance in one's own nature.
If you can have an epiphany of the Mahayana true repentance and go to evil and follow the right path, you will be innocent.
If you are able to contemplate your own nature on a regular basis, you will be on the same level as the Buddhas of the Ten Directions.
My patriarch only preached the teachings of Dun, and I hope that everyone will see the same nature and witness the Buddha's body.
If you want to attain the Dharmakaya in the future, you must be detached from the Dharma Phase.
Try to see yourself and don't be empty, otherwise the afterthought will suddenly end this life.
If you want to realize the Mahayana to see your own nature, you should sincerely and respectfully fold your palms and ask from your heart.
Master Huineng said, "Good knowledge! Everyone should recite and memorize this verse and practice according to it, and if you can see it immediately after listening to it, even though it is a thousand miles away from me, it is always by my side; If you can't realize it after listening to it, even if it's on the other side, it's like you're thousands of miles away, so why bother to come from afar to seek the Fa? I hope you all cherish it!"
When the public heard the words of the Six Patriarchs, they all comprehended it, rejoiced enthusiastically, and believed in it.
