Chapter 924: The Problem of Life and Death (1)

Third, Arhat has the mystery of separating yin, which has three situations: one is lost when he enters the womb, the second is that he is not confused when he enters the womb, but he is lost in the fetus, and the third is that he is not confused when he enters the womb, but he is lost when he gets out of the womb.

I will now turn to the question of human life and death, but only humanely.

The way of heaven and the way of animals are different.

In the early years, several Taoist friends were discussing whether they could predict the date of death and how to go.

One said that he had agreed to donate his body to the hospital for anatomical teaching, and if the organs could be reused, he would transplant them to patients in need, so as not to cause trouble to his family.

It turns out that he is still a way to do business, of course, such a heartfelt charity is rare.

It would take too much time to talk about life and death, and we can't go into details.

When a person enters the womb, he must have the harmony of the three edges, the bardo body (usually the soul), and the male sperm and the female egg just combined.

Although the four are originally empty, the human body is rare, and before enlightenment, you have to rely on this body.

At the time of conception, the sperm has to compete with hundreds of millions of siblings in order to bond with the egg.

The Buddha is a metaphor for the rarity of the human body, like a blind turtle in the vast sea, when it rises from the water, it just burrows into a hole in the middle of the wheels floating on the sea.

When a person enters the womb, it is the bardo body that is attracted by very strong desires, which is not something that you can control, and this desire, together with this man and woman, is attracted to it, and there is no space to hinder it, this is karma.

What should become a woman is attracted to a man (i.e., the future father), and then it becomes a female fetus, and to become a male child is to be attracted to the future mother.

This should be born male or female, and you are not the Lord.

Sariputta said earlier that this is the reason why he can't be the master and suddenly becomes a woman.

Therefore, we should pay attention to our cultivation and work at all times, start at the place where our hearts and minds are motivated during the day, practice to be the master, do not be greedy, resentful, distracted, and slow, which is the first step in our cultivation.

Furthermore, even in your sleep, you must be able to be the master, otherwise you really have no certainty at all. But don't try, if you try your best to be the master in your sleep, then you won't be able to sleep, because you don't fall asleep.

To be able to be the master in a dream and wake up is to be clear and clear, and only then can the cultivation be considered confident.

This is just about cultivation, not meditation, and it is not yet enlightenment. If you are practicing, no matter what method you are practicing, you must know if you have made progress or not, and don't come to me and ask me.

You just have to ask yourself how much you can be the Lord in the ordinary heart.

For example, if you suddenly encounter a great stimulus, and you are very annoyed and angry, you can see how many seconds and minutes you can pass by this breath, or you can't forget it for days, months, or even decades.

If you can calm down in a matter of seconds, that's great. It doesn't matter if you go even, you have to be the master.

The path of Mahayana and Hinayana practice starts from here, and then reaches the attainment of Prajna wisdom, and then one can fully become the master.

This is the realm of the Lord, that is, contemplating oneself, and truly achieving one's freedom.

In our practice, we must pay attention to the Three Realms of Heaven and Man, especially the Heaven of the Color Realm, also known as the Great Freedom Heaven, which is absolutely free, and is a bodhisattva with more than ten earths.
