Our body is positive retribution, we are white, black, fat, thin, different health conditions, it is a matter of karma, this is positive retribution.
The social environment of the times, whether there is property, the living environment, and even all the encounters, etc., are all based on the report.
For example, Amitabha Buddha has 32 phases and 80 kinds of goodness, which is his positive retribution and solemnity.
Because of his forty-eight great vows, that all sentient beings may be fulfilled, the ashram where he achieved was the land of Western Bliss, and the retribution was also solemn.
We are the same, there are people who have been solemn in their lives, and now we see very few such people.
In the past, on the mainland, there were many people, and I have seen many examples, many of them are called Hanako, who are quite good-looking, with faces that look like Buddha statues, and some of them almost have two ears and shoulders, and if he goes to act, he must be first-class.
But he's a beggar for food, what's the point? Having big ears is a sign of longevity, but longevity is not necessarily good.
If you say that you can see your great-grandson, don't be happy, you may be very lonely, and your son will not live as long as you.
It is no longer a taste for people to rely on their children to live, it is a responsibility to raise children, don't have the mentality of doing business, expecting them to repay your debts to support you.
Now it's different, and this concept has to change.
I have often said that when a child takes money from his parents, he takes it lying down, and his wife takes money from his husband or a husband from his wife, and he takes it while standing, and if he wants to take money from his children, he has to take it on his knees.
Besides, some people are reporting solemnly, but they are not good at reporting, the environment is not good, and they are poor all their lives.
Why is it not solemn according to the report? For many lifetimes, one does not practice merit and does not do good deeds.
Therefore, the real happiness, the previous talk should be solemn, and now it is said that the solemnity of the report is the most joyful in life, the joy of the Bodhisattva, and the solemn dojo.
"Be happy to hear the law and be afraid." I like to hear about the profound Dharma and am not afraid.
Why be afraid? As strange as it sounds, it's not at all surprising if you've been in education long enough. If you've been teaching religion and Dharma for a long time, it's not surprising.
There are dozens of students in a class, and the stupid one among them, you really want to kneel down and call him daddy, hoping that he is smart and can't do anything.
And he was really afraid, afraid of getting an education.
It is rare to be willing to listen to the deep Dharma without being afraid, and to be willing to pursue it. If you teach others something really good, they may not be willing to accept it.
So I have so many students willing to come to the class, and I really want to kneel down and thank them.
It is not easy to really hear the deep Dharma without fear.
For example, if you want to enlighten the Tao, it is not difficult to achieve enlightenment! It's true!
Why can't people be enlightened? Because one day the Word does come to you, and you will be afraid.
I told you this morning, I really admire the author of the book "Grandma Zen", as a seventy-year-old lady who has settled abroad, without a teacher by her side, can have such a high level of self-esteem, not only understand, but also get by, constantly make progress, all on her own, it is really not easy.
She said that when she was meditating, she suddenly felt like she had encountered a typhoon, and the wind was very loud, but she knew that it was the wind moving within herself.
As soon as the wind passed, she felt that the water was coming, like the waves of the ocean, and she knew that the water was moving.
All in all, the earth, water, fire, and wind have all been experienced, and in the end, not only does she feel that her body is gone, she already has this realm, but the qi has gone out from every pore, full of emptiness, very big, everything is nothing, she is gone, everything is cloud, qi, and she feels that between the existence and the nothingness, it seems that there is only a little spiritual light in the void.
We said it very easily, she was doing kung fu at home abroad, no one in the family was there, no one could ask about these realms, no one could discuss, she would know what it was, and she would not be afraid, it was really very difficult.
This is the principle of "being happy to hear the deep Fa without fear", not to mention that it is not a deep Fa.
