Chapter 867: Seventy-six Grades

When a bodhisattva himself is enlightened, he can educate others, not only does not harm himself, but the more he gives his own truth, the more wisdom increases, and this truth is called the endless lamp, and you have to learn it.

I am here to make it clear to you, because you do not shine, though you are also lamps, lamps that go out.

Since last week, I have had an uncomfortable throat and difficulty speaking, so many people have advised me to take a break and stop lecturing.

But I won't stop, because my classmates want to learn! It doesn't matter if it has a voice or not, you still want it to speak, this is a key skill! I took a lot of Chinese and Western medicines, but it didn't work at all, so I just ignored them.

As a student of Buddhism, I sacrifice myself to illuminate others, so I refuse to stop, and I haven't finished talking about it! This is to tell you, don't be selfish, don't be famous, don't be profit, just have a heart to promote the Dharma, don't care about yourself, you are dead at best! It's good if you talk about death here, you paint it up, put it with preservatives, and even if your body doesn't rot, you can sell tickets and collect some money, it's not bad, right?

Don't be a joke, just make this determination, be selfless, give everything you have, there is nothing difficult.

Studying Buddhism and cultivating is such a way, and this is the Endless Lamp.

I see that you come to learn Buddhism, you are young, you take care of yourself very much, you are lazy, and you are not willing to help others, but you are very strict with others, look at this is not right, that is not right, you think that others are not sages, are you sages?

I think you are a leftover, a useless idler, there are not many people with you, and there are not many people without you.

You have to help others at home and in society, and there is no requirement to sacrifice yourself, which is the truth of the endless lamp. Of course, it is also important to light yourself up.

"Although you live in the Demon Palace, you think that it is an endless lamp, so that countless sons and goddesses of heaven and goddesses, and those who have attained the three bodhichittas, will repay the Buddha's kindness and greatly benefit all sentient beings." Therefore, Vimala said to the witch, "Go back to the Demon Palace, practice with this principle, and be a shining lamp for yourself, influencing countless celestial beings and goddesses to develop the supreme bodhi path, and this is the way to repay the Buddha." ”

What is to repay the Buddha's kindness is to greatly benefit all sentient beings.

"At that time, the goddess, with her head and face bowing to Vima, returned to the palace with the devil, and suddenly disappeared. World-honored! Vimala is like a god of freedom, wisdom and eloquence, so I don't ask questions about the disease. "Speaking of which, these days the goddess bowed to the Vimo monk and followed the demon king back.

The Bodhisattva was originally in the dojo, and the Heavenly Demon brought a witch to play this trick, and his way of dealing with it was to say to the Demon King, we are monks and cultivators, and we can't do this.

This is the practice of ordinary Buddhist monks, teaching people with a blue face.

Vimo monks are playing in the world in the realm of demons, you must not bring a religious disciple with the appearance of death, the great bodhisattva wants to save all sentient beings, and the demons are not sentient beings? Aren't the outer paths sentient beings? Can't you make it?

If you put them out, are you still a bodhisattva?

He is a bad person, and he needs to illuminate him, and your lamp will be lit! Therefore, the Dharma cultivation path is in the world, not out of the world, but in the demon path of the Buddha, and the true Buddha path is achieved.

Since the bodhisattva was also deflated, the Buddha looked for another bodhisattva.

"The Buddha told the elder son of virtue: Thou shalt do the Vimala Question." The elder son is the son of a family, and as the name suggests, the realm of this bodhisattva is to cultivate all goodness.

The Buddha asked his representative to go and greet the Vimal monk about his illness.

The White Buddha of Good Virtue said: "World-honored! I can't afford to ask questions, so what? But the Bodhisattva of Virtue, like all other Bodhisattvas, said that he was not qualified to go.

What is the reason?

"Remembering my old days, since my father's house set up a great almsgiving, to provide for all the shamans, brahmins, and all the poor, low, low, lonely beggars of the outer realms, for seven days." The Bodhisattva of Good Virtue reported to the Buddha that in order to commemorate his father and make merits, he had set up a festival of great almsgiving, and made offerings to all monks, Brahmin nobles, laymen, people of the lower classes, lonely people, and beggars, for seven days.

When Vima came to join the meeting, he said: "Elder! The Husband will give alms, not as you set up, should be the law of the meeting, what is the use of the financial charity?

At that time, Vimal came and said to me, "Childe, if you really have a big charity meeting, you shouldn't do it like you, it's not enough to just give money and food, it's Dharma charity."

Dharma teaching is the giving of wisdom, and education is the giving of wisdom.
