Chapter 7 Photophobia
As someone was hit by the sparse raindrops, the crowd slowly boiled, but the speed of movement did not speed up at all.
"Follow me!" Severia tapped Adรจs on the shoulder, then quickly turned around, and Adรจs hurried to follow, and the two of them broke away from the crowd with miraculous speed.
After many twists and turns, Ades followed Severia to a small wooden door hidden deep in the alley.
The secret hiding place of the rebels?Ades glanced thoughtfully at Severia.
"It's not what you think," Severia shook her head, "let's go inside." โ
Severia stepped forward and gently pressed her palm against the small wooden door, and a circle of blue light rippled in all directions, starting from her palm.
With a slight force in her palm, Severia pushed open the door and stepped inside. Ades glanced back, and there were a few wild cats parked on the high wall opposite, and the narrow and secluded alleys on either side of the door seemed unusually quiet.
Yades followed Severia inside. The space inside the wooden door is extremely narrow, only two or three meters deep, and there is a small notch-like skylight overhead, and at the end of such a cramped space is a stone staircase entrance to the underground.
Severia glanced back at Ades and said, "It's a strange and familiar feeling, it's quite interesting. โ
"What's down there?" asked Ades, curiously.
"You'll find out in a moment. With that, Severia led to the entrance, and then walked down.
Yades followed.
The stone staircase was so narrow that only one person could pass through, and after the two of them walked for a while, the light from the outside world became thinner and thinner, and the two people who were slowly advancing on the stone staircase soon fell into darkness.
The crisp "click" sound of her feet stepping on the stone stairs, mixed with the sound of the two of them breathing as if close to her ears, Severia felt a wonderful atmosphere begin to permeate...
And then it came to an abrupt end, after all, this is not an elevator to 10,000 meters underground, which can keep you in for two hours.
Walking out of the darkness, Yades bypassed Severia, who stopped at the exit of the stone staircase, and glanced at the dragon girl who suddenly stopped a little strangely, and then suddenly attracted by this slightly strange basement, and began to look around on his own.
The space of this basement is not very large, about three meters high, seven or eight meters square, covered with green plants that look like moss but also like creepers, scattered with some small yellow spots, look closely, it turns out to be a small yellow glowing seedling like bean sprouts. These small bean sprouts have given the entire basement a slightly psychedelic yellow.
Stepping forward, Yades came to the end of the basement, where there was a small iron door less than a meter long and wide, but not covered with a single plant. As soon as he attached his ear to the iron door, Sevilia not far away had already walked over, put her hands in front of her chest and said, "This iron door is blessed with concealment spells, and you won't gain anything by doing this." โ
Adesus turned around, glanced down imperceptibly, then pointed around and asked, "What kind of plants are these?
"Photosynthesis?" Sevilia smiled playfully at the corner of her mouth, first puzzled, then immediately showed a sudden expression, and then replied, "This is photophobia, and they will quickly wither under too strong light." โ
"And how do they survive?" asked Ades, somewhat stunned, "are they eating stones?"
"Of course, there's nothing else here but stones," Severia said as she walked over to one of the photophobic grasses, staring at the glowing sprouts on it with some emotion, "and to be honest, it's the first time I've seen this plant. โ
"The original me. Severia said, turning her head to explain.
Yades also walked to the photophobic grass in front of Severia, touched his chin with one hand, supported his waist with the other, glanced at Severia, who was still with his hands crossed on his chest, and motioned for the other party to continue.
Severia put down her interlaced hands and lightly touched the photophobia grass in front of her, and a tiny glowing bean sprout suddenly grew where it was touched.
"Actually, they 'eat' everything but light. Glancing at the newly sprouted sprout, Severia continued, "The slime they secrete dissolves whatever they cling to, transforms into a state they can absorb, devours it, and then releases fresh air while emitting a faint yellow glow. โ
"The funny thing is that once you touch it, it will grow small light beans, maybe it's afraid of light, so I think other creatures are afraid of light too. โ
Yades stared at the photophobia in front of him and didn't speak, he seemed to be still thinking.
"What are you thinking?" asked Severia, leaning over with some curiosity.
How do you feel that this dragon girl has grown a little taller?
Yades looked at the top of each other's heads, and such a thought flashed in his heart, but he said: "In other words, what they eat is stone, and what they pull out is light?"
Severia was stunned when she heard this, and then immediately tried to stop Yades from talking, but unfortunately it was too late.
"Well, this basement is lit up with. Yades high-fived him with a fist.
It was a kick to the lower abdomen of Yades, and Sevelia still couldn't hold back after all.
ใใใใ
A few minutes later, this time it was replaced by Ades, who seemed to be well adapted to the light conditions.
"You're not loving me so soon?" said Ades, teasing with a slight pant.
Sevelia snorted softly, and when she heard this, she put away her stance.
Yards rubbed his face as he walked over to Severia and said, "Now, let me feel your unimaginable wisdom." โ
Seeing that the other party still didn't speak, Yades continued, "What should we do next?"
Severia glanced at the corners of Yades' drooping eyes, and faintly regretted that she had taken too hard of a move, and said in a slightly soothing tone: "To be honest, I really haven't experienced much of this level of small fights. โ
In fact, there is no such thing as a former opponent of Severia, and none of them are smaller than a mountain.
She has a lot of experience in how to beat her opponents to scum, but she has never thought about how to survive PUBG. But her face at this time showed an unfathomable expression, she is very good at this, after all, an existence like her has basically been in a state of being worshiped as a god by mortals for most of her life.
Ades watched Severia, who was with the old god, walk up to the small iron door, then bent down and struck a few regular taps.
The small iron door suddenly cracked in the middle of a round hole the size of a bowl, and Severia put her hand into it, dug into it, and then walked up to Ades, spreading her palm.
What appeared in front of Yades' eyes was a yellow-brown stone ball.
"It's a Radiant Gem, and when you smash it on the ground, it instantly emits a bright light that blinds people for a short time, and it lasts for quite some time. โ
Yades nodded, motioning for Severia to continue.
"Photophobia, there is another characteristic," Severia said this, glancing around, if the original owner of this body was still alive, she would definitely not want to do this, putting aside distractions, she continued, "The sudden continuous bright light will detonate the photophobia grass, and it is extremely powerful. โ
"What do you want to do?" said Yades every day.
"The photophobia grass in this room is enough to blow up half of the city of Astan!"
Severia looked at Yades and said proudly, "If something like this happens, who will have the heart to care about us?"
"No, I can't. โ
"Why?"
Yades took a deep look at Severia and said lightly: "First, we are not terrorists, please stay away from me next time you say such things again." โ
Sevelia was stunned when she heard this, and said at a loss: "I'm sorry... โ
Seeing that the other party did not look stubborn, Ades sighed softly and continued:
"Second, please think about it, this explosion is so powerful, how can the people who smashed this Radiant Jewel here survive?"
"This level of magic explosion is not worth anything to us dragons... Severia got stuck as she spoke.
"You mean you're going to smash it?"
This is really unimaginable wisdom.
Seeing that the other party was silent, Yades shook his head and continued, "Do you want to listen to my method?"
