Chapter 256: Reading Cards
Chapter subtitled: German philosophers like German sausages
………………………………………………
"So, you're in Munich?"
"Yes."
"So you talked to the target?"
"Hmm...... Not yet. ”
"Not yet?" "Lord Fool," asked suspiciously, "you haven't spoken to him, and that's it?" ”
"We quietly went to the beer hall to listen to one of his speeches, but I'm ......actually fine," "Lady Fate" glanced at the "Lord Justice" who had been silent until now, and said, "But Yuri is a little wrong." ”
"Is that ......?"
Our Master Yuan glanced at Mr. Chandler, who was also very obvious in Aryan characteristics, and said secretly in his heart: Ach So!
Oh, I see.
"Temperance" is indeed "Temperance", and it only took one speech to inspire the Aryan soul of the "Righteous Excellency".
"Ann, you should leave the group first. Let me talk to Yuri. ”
"Poof! Agent 2 went offline. ”
"Hahaha......" Yuan Yanqian suddenly laughed wildly.
He shook his head while laughing, and said in an exaggerated tone: "Oh my God, my Major Chandler, you are frightened by such a corporal-to-be?" ”
One thing must be made clear.
In fact, Hitler's highest military rank in German was Gefreite, which correctly translates as "reserve junior non-commissioned officer superior private". In the Anglo-American Army, it is equivalent to the Lance Corporal, that is, the corporal, and the rank is between the corporal and the first class. But it still belongs to the category of "soldiers", not even non-commissioned officers.
His immediate superiors had reported that he would be promoted to a real corporal, but the regimental headquarters of the 16th Regiment of the Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment did not agree. There are two theories about this, one is that his superiors thought he lacked leadership skills, and the other was because he was Austrian. (Author's note: See the entry for "Hitler" on Ikipedia.) )
I really don't know whether it was the luck or misfortune of Germany and the people of the world, but these two did not prevent him from becoming the head of the Third Reich.
However, the Austrian corporal did receive the Iron Cross of the First Class, a rare German soldier, in 1918 for his bravery in battle, especially in the Battle of the Somme.
It's really not wrong to take the emperor's famous saying, a soldier who doesn't want to be a marshal is not a good soldier. Whatever one may say, Hitler was a good soldier.
"Lord Fool......" "Your Excellency Justice" slowly raised his head and said, "You don't have to provoke me so much, you know why I am like this. Because you've reminded me several times......"
HE SIGHED AND SAID, "YOU MADE ME BE CAREFUL OF BEING 'HU YOU', AND YOU ALSO ASKED ME TO READ MORE ......"
Our Master Yuan interrupted, "Oh, so did you go read those books?" ”
"This ......," said Mr. Chandler, blushing and a little embarrassed, "I've seen a little bit of ......."
The Fool interrupted him again, and said in a hateful voice, "That's it, my righteous Excellency. Like I said, if you don't study for three days, you won't be able to catch up with Liu ...... Can't be a true member of our SCP Foundation......"
"Read the books of your German philosophers Schopenhauer and Fichte, as well as the works of your German philosophers Marx and Engels, all with a critical eye......"
"You'll be able to gain immunity, mental immunity!"
There is one more point that must be made clear.
The German philosopher who had the greatest influence on Hitler was not the "superman" Nietzsche, but the Schopenhauer and Fichte mentioned by Master Yuan.
Hitler's attitude towards Nietzsche was, most precisely, "exploiting" his doctrine. Because Nietzsche's doctrine was very "cool", and it also carried with it the descent theory and anti-Semitism, which were the favorite of Hans at that time.
His favorite philosopher was probably Arthur Schopenhauer.
Needless to say, he was the first person in the history of Western philosophy to openly oppose rationalist philosophy, and created a precedent for irrationalist philosophy, and he is also the founder of voluntarism.
Nazi ideology itself is a kind of romanticism (irrationalism), and the vernacular consciousness (narrower than nationalism) is mixed with social Darwinism, and the heroic view of history that the little Bourgeois particularly liked.
Therefore, not only did the "neo-Nazis" in the West burn inexhaustibly in the wildfire, but even the German fans on the Internet of a large country in the East were blown again and again, wave after wave.
This is the exact opposite of Hegel, which Schopenhauer opposed, which pursued rationalism and universalism.
Why was Nazism inherently the antithetical of communism?
Because, communism, which inherited the universalism of Hegel, is really a very universalism.
Isn't the liberation of all mankind universal enough?
Hitler was very fond of Schopenhauer when he was a child, and when he was young, he often quoted his famous quotes to pretend to be forced. For example, how can there be love in the world? It's a reproductive impulse at all...... (Author's note: See Chapter 1 of "The Siege", or Chapter 16 of Volume 1 of this work, "Eating Soft Rice.") )
Anyway, he spent four years on the German-French front and turned over a collection of Schopenhauer's essays.
One more point to be clear. Some people say that he has read Schopenhauer's most famous "The World as Will and Appearance" in recent years.
Our Master Yuan dared to pack a ticket, definitely not, because he didn't understand the book very well as a master's degree in economics...... Well, it's unlikely that a dropout of high school would have read such a difficult philosophical work anyway.
After all, Hitler and Yuan Yanqian were not geniuses like Einstein who could read through the Critique of Pure Reason at the age of 13.
And the philosopher who had the greatest influence on Hitler was probably Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814).
Compared to Hegel, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, Fichte was a little less famous. But he is also very important in the history of philosophy, recognized as a figure of transition from Kant to Hegel.
The Prussian philosophers, like their sausages, were really one after the other.
However, he did not influence Hitler as a philosopher, but as the "father of German nationalism".
In 1806, during the occupation of Berlin by Napoleon, Fichte published several Speeches to the German Nation in an attempt to inspire Prussian nationalism, which is probably the earliest work of romantic nationalism.
In these essays, he argues that the German nation is superior to other peoples.
In his other early works, he spoke of the Jews as encroaching on Germany, and openly expressed his desire to expel the Jews from Germany.
He also expressed disgust with Poland, declaring that their culture was barbaric and that the Poles were uncivilized barbarians.
Fichte's economic view is that a country should control international relations, the value of its currency, and maintain a state of self-sufficiency.
In other words, as early as a hundred years ago, all the elements of Nazism were put forward by him, and all Hitler had to do was to "keep up with the times".
It is clear that this "Fichte-Hitlerism" that kept pace with the times impressed Julian Chandler.
"Tuk, tuk, tuk."
"Dr. Yuan, are you alright?"
"I'll be fine, right away!"
The Fool said to the other end of the video, "Listen, my Righteous Excellency. You're a natural, purebred Aryan and a former U.S. Army Major, but you're now the Great Arcana of our SCP Foundation! ”
"We at the SCP Foundation don't care about race, we don't care about countries, we care about humanity as a whole! We can proudly call ourselves – Internachonar. ”
"You now have to hold yourself to the standard of an internationalist. And as an internationalist from the perspective of all mankind, you will find that man's theory is ridiculously shallow. ”
"Remember, there's a whole bunch of real theorists at your next stop, and you can't even talk without reading right now,"
"If you don't think you can get past it, get back to New York as soon as possible!"
"So, let's go to school!"
"Fool, I have one more question......
