No. 213 My daily life in the Chua Academy
Cai Dao's notice stirred up the entire Bianliang City.
And I didn't have the consciousness of breaking the sky at all.
In fact, Cai's Academy recruits female students, and Cai Dao has already arranged this matter in the college's development plan.
Cai Dao just took advantage of the east wind of Bianliang Primary School to advance this plan.
……
July 3 was Yu's third day at the Chua Academy. Yesterday, due to an unexpected incident, our students escaped the ordeal of a day.
Today is the luck of yesterday.
At midnight, nine children my age were sleeping on the Chase bunk, and they were pulled out of the warm bed.
Morning exercise, the beginning of a nightmare of the day.
Today, according to Lord Cai Ban's request, all the boys had to run three laps along the road near the wall, and it was not until one lap that I realized how wide this school was.
My physical strength is also the level of ordinary people, and some of the children can run faster, such as the children who pressed the heavy stick of Lord Cai Bucket yesterday, and they were able to get up again early this morning.
It's a pity that after listening to Lord Cai Ban, we realized that this run is a comparison of the endurance of the big guys, to see who can finish three laps in the end, not who can run the fastest.
Of course, there is no way to get the first place even by the competition.
Lord Cai Dao, Lord Cai Bucket and Master Cai Ban have always been at the front of everyone, and they have even overtaken many children. It is said that the girls do not need to participate in this activity, but Sister Hua and more than 20 girls have been following behind Master Cai Ban and have never been thrown away. Of course, Lord Cai Ban has always been the slowest runner of the trio.
We really can't understand how Lord Cai Bucket's heavy body can run so fast.
After that, it's time for the kids to have the most excited moment of the day, yes, breakfast.
Although there are three meals a day in the school, the most hearty meal is breakfast.
First come, first served, whoever finishes first will be the first to eat today's breakfast.
Today I ate a big bowl of beef ramen, and when some children were eating, they shouted that there was too little meat in their bowls. They really don't know how blessed they are, we children, we don't necessarily see meat a few times a year, just three days after coming, you can eat noodles with meat, I really want to thank Lord Cai Dao!
However, I heard that the imperial court didn't let cattle be killed casually? There are 7,000 children in this school! Lord Cai Dao is so blatant about eating beef for everyone, does it really matter?
After eating, everyone knows. The meat in everyone's bowl is indeed different. The top 10 children who finished first had 10 slices of beef in each bowl, and so on, and the last 10 children who finished three laps had only half a slice of beef to eat, while those who did not finish three laps were even more unlucky, as it turned out that there was no meat to eat in their bowls.
I was lucky, although it was slower, but I didn't fall into the bottom 10 and ended up with two slices of beef.
In fact, the multigrain wowotou we ate yesterday was also good, but our favorite food was the green onion oil cake we ate at noon on the first day, which was crunchy and delicious, fragrant, and really memorable. I don't know if today's lunch is still my favorite!
At the end of the run, after breakfast, just when the children thought that the nightmare of the day was over, we realized that we were still too naïve at that time.
An hour later, the boys carried a small bamboo basket full of grain, which was later told to us by Lord Cai Ban, which was called seeds. Following Lord Cai Bucket, we came to a large area of wasteland that had been reclaimed, Cai Ban and Master Cai Bucket demonstrated it first, and then we began to follow suit, pouting and sowing seeds in the ground.
With a small hoe, dig a hole, sprinkle a seed into it and cover it with soil. There are strict rules on the distance between each pit, which can neither be far nor close. Many of these children actually worked on the farm when they were at home, and they really can't understand that it's just farming. Why do these two little adults have such strange and complicated regulations?
In order to better supervise everyone, the work of sowing seeds is started in batches, and the area of seeds sown by each child is half a piece of land. It's not a big area, so it's not a difficult thing for a 7-year-old, but it's a bit difficult for us five-year-olds.
However, Master Cai Ban is only five years old this year, but his movements and strength are much better than those of a seven-year-old child. It is worthy of being trained by Lord Cai Dao.
One acre of land is composed of ten acres, one point of land is two and a half points of land, 3999 children plus one point of land of Lord Cai Ban and one acre of land of Lord Cai Bucket, all the children have cultivated a total of several acres of land.
Lord Cai Dao did not ask everyone to give an answer immediately, but the Lord announced that whoever could calculate the correct answer first would give him a big reward.
Originally, the work of sowing seeds was not complicated, but in order to supervise each child to do the work properly, the boys worked in batches when sowing seeds. Twenty girls, eighty axle men like Uncle Big Flower, followed us as serious overseers of the boys.
Only 100 children can work at a time, so in this way, the efficiency of the big guys is very slow, and after a whole day, it takes half an hour to sow seeds in one group on average, and it is impossible to complete this work in one day. However, Lord Cai Dao did not criticize everyone, and still prepared a sumptuous meal for everyone at noon and evening.
However, children who finish their work early eat better than children who have not yet done it.
For lunch, the children who finished the work ate my favorite - green onion oil cake, and each child also had a pickled salted egg, and the smell of lard smelled into my mouth and nose, so that many children couldn't help but drool, including me. And those children who are not lined up in the work team can only nibble on miscellaneous grains and pickles.
Luckily, the same goes for dinner. I was the son of a farmer, and I happened to be in the second group in the afternoon, and although I was the youngest, I was the first to finish the work. And when Lord Cai Dao was on patrol, he saw that I had done such a good job, and specially rewarded me with a piece of beef in the evening.
On the door of the big cafeteria, there is a plaque with four big characters written on it - 'No work is rewarded'. Master Cai Dao explained to us the meaning of this four-character idiom before lunch, if you don't work, you won't reap.
Cai Dao said that in view of the fact that everyone had just arrived, even if there were still people who did not work, they would continue to provide enough food for everyone, but seven days later, that is, starting on July 11, children who did not complete the day's tasks would have no food to eat.
If you haven't finished running in the morning, you won't have breakfast. And so on, for any meal, the corresponding task must be completed.
Moreover, Master Cai Dao also said that seven days later, in the morning, the boys would not run three laps, but five laps.
It is not until the hour that all the children are able to rest. After a busy day, after dinner, Master Cai Dao wrote ten words on a dark board, which was all the homework of the first day for us children.
