After your death, the major events that happened in my life, the main experiences I had on the way, were basically written in chapter 900.

In these sporadic and independent stories, but also partly continuous, some parts are jumpy and vague. Because some of the parties are still living in this world like us. For the sake of respecting them, and in order not to affect their lives, there are some things that are not suitable for public disclosure without the consent of the parties, and I have vaguely brought them over.

This story, which is more than 2 million words long, many people will mistake it for a long love story.

But it's not a love story.

It is a story of the universal suffering of life and the struggle for relief from it.

Most of it happened in real life. It is not wrong to say that it is an autobiography or a memoir that straddles the lineage of the past, present, and future.

It's not just a story between the hero and heroine, either.

It is the story of all men and all women, of all times and of all places.

It is the story of humanity and the story of all other non-human beings.

All its plots, in the course of life, are highly universal.

I wrote this story not only to record the life process of this seemingly magical realism, but to hope that it would become a mirror.

People who are destined to encounter this mirror will see the pain of their own life, the pain of their love, their final destination, the possibility of breaking free from the cage of life and death, breaking free from the prison of troubles and sorrows, and breaking free from the barriers of self.

It hints at the possibility of such a possibility, and preliminarily points out the direction, path, and destination of the various hardships of life.

You could also say that it is a signpost for those who have come by, a map for those who come after you.

Of course, you can also just use it as a pastime for love.

Just like "Journey to the West", those who are deep see the deep, and those who are shallow see the shallow. For those who can comprehend it, it is the secret of practice, a real Buddhist scripture, and every word has a profound secret meaning. It is also an interesting mythological story for those who don't understand.

In this book, the relationship between the hero and heroine is not a love relationship between a man and a woman, as it appears on the surface.

They, or, more frankly, the relationship between us, me and you, our relationship is typical of a teacher-student relationship on the way to the road.

Dear you, you are not only my first love and lifelong miss in my past and present lives, but you are also my fundamental master in Taoism.

There are many teachers in one's life, but not every teacher can be called a "root teacher".

The root guru is the one who directly guides you to the truth of life in the universe.

Modern people are arrogant, independent and contemptuous of rebellion, so if you introduce yourself to someone at a party and say, "This handsome young gentleman is the root guru of my soul," others will think that you have fallen into the abyss of superstition, deceived and controlled and enslaved by others.

But if you bring a scientist or economist to a party, people will envy you for knowing such a celebrity. Although human beings have been controlled, toyed with and enslaved by science and so-called economics for a long time, very deeply.

If you introduce me as a shooting instructor, an equestrian instructor, a yoga master or a Chinese kung fu master, it will also be very trendy and eye-catching, and people will think that you are really fashionable and this lifestyle is very aristocratic.

I can only sigh at this phenomenon.

Nowadays, everyone feels that they are born with a perfect and healthy mind, and that they do not need the help and guidance of a spiritual guide in the course of life.

Now, the word "teacher" has been tainted by secular usage.

We usually think of a teacher as a specific person. However, in the past, the teacher was not a concrete person in the first place.

Teacher, first of all, is the Tao, the Tao, and the law.

At that time, the teacher and the Tao were linked and inseparable.

The unity of teacher and Tao will lead to dignity.

If there is no way to be a teacher, there is no dignity at all.

In the process of reading this book, you often feel that some sentences read very philosophically, and this is your perception of "Tao".

And this "Tao" no one knows by themselves when they come out of their lives.

Everyone must rely on the guidance and teaching of the teacher in order to see this truth that has been operating in all worlds and in all time and space.

That's where the teacher comes in.

A flesh-and-blood spiritual mentor is irreplaceable and cannot be replaced by watching DVDs and signing up for online tutorials.

It is absolutely essential to maintain regular and direct communication with a flesh-and-blood spiritual teacher.

For he will violently shake your soul at an unpredictable time and place, shocking you, completely subverting your world of common sense and established patterns in an instant, and shattering the hard shell of your stubbornness.

The process of getting along with the root guru of the mind is very similar to falling in love: intense, exciting, exciting, infinite new possibilities, but also extremely destructive.

It's simply the best adventure yet – but it can lead you out of the cocoon.

For example, on the first day we met in this life, the moment our teacher-student relationship was established, you said to me, "From this day on, our teacher-student relationship is established." You will continue to see me after that. Every day you have the opportunity to see my behavior that surprises you, including two kinds of surprise: the surprise that makes you fall to the ground, and the surprise that makes you disappointed and sad. You will also keep discovering new things in you that you may not have been aware of before. ”

You say, "Heart, if you are not frightened and moved by all these surprises and discoveries, if you can keep trusting me and not lose faith halfway, then you will be able to learn the precious teachings." ”

In my days with you, I have indeed often been struck by your surprise.

For example, after you were discharged from the hospital for the second time, you said to me, "Normally, when we die, there is a memorial service. Perhaps, you won't, or can't come to my memorial service. However, you can imagine what it was like back then. ”

It makes me very sad to hear you say such things when you are terminally ill and suffering from a lot of pain.

I'm saddened and trying to stop you.

I said, "Just been discharged from the hospital, aren't you all right?" Why do you want to talk about these unlucky assumptions, people feel strange and uncomfortable when they hear it. ”

You say, "Please don't interrupt me, heart." I'm not making a pessimistic prophecy that triggers sadness in your heart. I'm talking to you as a teacher about something very important. You have to listen well, you have to remember. ”

Looking at your serious expression, I gave up the idea of dissuading you, and I nodded vigorously.

Then you say, "At that time, my image will be hung on a high place for all to look up at as a sign of respect for the deceased." If you were here, you would look up to me with grief and great respect, and remember everything I deserve to love, right? ”

I said, "Yes." ”

You say, "At that time, Xinxin, you asked to remember what I said today, and I will give you an assignment at that time now." ”

You say, "Please put all your life on the same level as my last photo." I'm a contour line. Please, put all your life, in your mind, to the same level as I do. Remember the kindness of all life as much as I remember my kindness. Forgive all the inadequacies of life as if you forgive me for my transgressions. Take care of all life's pain as you take care of my pain. ”

You say, "On that day, among all the people who looked up at my statue, I wanted you to remember me in a different way." You have to look up, think, and finish the homework I have been assigned today, as I want at this moment. That will not disappoint our encounter. That's the best thing I can remember. ”

You say, "I deeply hope that for the rest of your life, you will remember to practice like this every day and think like this all the time." ”

It's okay to say that this paragraph is your last word to me.

It shook me deeply, both at the time and later.

To this day, it is still deeply engraved in my heart, strongly influencing the direction of my life, shaping my worldview, outlook on life, and values.

This is the role of a great teacher in life.
