Three strategies of heaven and man

On January 27, 141 BC, Emperor Liu Qi of the Han Dynasty died, and the 16-year-old crown prince Liu Che, who had just completed the crown ceremony, immediately became Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Pen × fun × Pavilion www. biquge。 info respects Dou as the empress dowager and Wang as the empress dowager. On February 6, Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty was buried in Yangling, about 35 miles northeast of Chang'an City. In March, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty named his two uncles Tian Wei as the Marquis of Wu'an and Tian Sheng as the Marquis of Zhouyang.

Back then, Chairman Mao once said: The world is ours and yours, but in the final analysis, it is yours. However, more than 2,000 years ago, Liu Che wanted to say to the old people of the Han Dynasty like this: The world used to be yours, but now it only belongs to me!

The gerontocracy of the Han Dynasty has not changed for decades since it set the line of Huang Lao's inaction. So until now, the Empress Dowager Dou still believes in this set. However, in Liu Che's opinion, the Empress Dowager is already old and blind. The Han Dynasty can no longer be encircled by the Tao Te Ching. If you don't change the water again, maybe the first one to be suffocated will be him, the emperor!

So, Liu Che began the first emperor plan of his life: to overthrow Huang Lao and respect Confucianism alone!

To understand a person's present and future, it is essential to understand his past. In the past 15 years, Liu Che's life trajectory has been very regular, that is: reading and memorizing scriptures when he is hard, and picking up girls and horses in his spare time. But it turns out: this is not a safe species! The previous rulers of the Han Dynasty read the Tao Te Ching, but Liu Che liked to write and be good at Confucianism since he was a child. Empress Dowager Dou didn't expect that she had read Lao Tzu all her life, but she failed to cultivate this grandson's interest in loving Lao Tzu. History is destined: Huang Lao's rule will be sent to the end by Liu Che!

Yes, if Empress Dowager Dou can open her eyes and see the world, Liu Che wants to tell her: The so-called "rule of Huang Lao" is no longer suitable for the development of the times, let alone for him, a young man. The reason is obvious: Huang Laozhizhi advocates the rule of softness, the quiet breath, straightens out the yin and yang of the four seasons, and does the cause of entering the WTO with the spirit of birth. However, Liu Che is young and energetic, and the most important thing in his body is strength. Therefore, he doesn't need to learn the way of health preservation with the "Yellow Emperor's Neijing", and he doesn't need to keep quiet and recuperate. In other words: he is like the sun that has just risen, and even though the clouds are thick, it will break out of the dawn!

Lao Tzu said, "Good is like water, and water benefits all things without dispute", and now Liu Che wants to tell Lao Tzu: He doesn't like to be low-eyebrow water. History is doomed: if Liu Che wants to do it, he will be the radiant sun in the sky! The sun, it is positive, sunny, upward, accessible. This promising emperor, I am determined!

The so-called promising means positive action. So the first thing Liu Che did when he ascended the throne was not to be busy evaluating his father's title and determining merits, but to choose virtuous and virtuous!

Do you remember: When Cao Shen was in charge of the Han Dynasty, whoever recommended virtuous to him, he was the first to destroy. As a result, Cao Shen created the first era of lazy rule in Chinese history. Those who are eloquent are not as good as those who are wooden; It is better to drink well than to do well. So the young emperor Liu Ying at that time was very helpless, and finally wanted to persuade him, but he was refuted by Cao Shen and had nothing to say... But now, Liu Che wants to tell the old people of the Han Dynasty: The era of lazy people is coming to an end! To hell with Cao Shen's set of delicious and lazy national policies!

In October of the first year of the founding of the Yuan Dynasty (BC141), Liu Che issued a proclamation on the first New Year of his reign, ordering the prime minister, the imperial historian, the princes, the county guards, the princes and others to widely recommend the world's virtuous, upright, and outspoken people. After being selected at various levels, in the end, more than 100 high-ranking people from the country, such as Gongsun Hong, a native of Zichuan, Zhuang Zhu, a Huiji person, Zhu Maichen of Wu, Sima Xiangru of Shu, and Dongfang Shuo of Pingyuan, were recruited into Beijing for the examination.

In this exam, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che personally served as the chief examiner. The Han Dynasty was still far away from the Sui Dynasty, which invented the imperial examination system. Therefore, those who are recommended will be exempted from the written test and go directly to the interview. The so-called interview is the palace examination. The way is that the interviewer and the emperor ask and answer, and this kind of interview is known as countermeasures in history.

This is the first large-scale talent recruitment fair held since the founding of the Han Dynasty. Emperor Liu Che of the Han Dynasty made a big move to the world's wise people, and he was lucky to find all kinds of talents with unique skills in the world. Facts have also proved that these talents can stand the test of history, and they have all become shining stars in the sky of the Han Dynasty. Among the more than 100 people, the first place in the countermeasures is Dr. Dong Zhongshu!

Dong Zhongshu, a native of Guangchuan. In his early years, he was famous for his "Spring and Autumn Period", and was a doctor when Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty. "Spring and Autumn" is one of the Confucian classics. The so-called Confucian classics are the four books and five classics referred to by later generations. In the Han Dynasty, the era of Zhuzixue had passed, and the era of classics and historiography had just arrived. According to Sima Qian, there were only a handful of national treasures who studied classics at that time. However, most of those scripture masters are eighty or ninety years old. If the emperor wants to invite them out of the mountain, it is estimated that they will have to carry them out to give lectures.

Dong Zhongshu doesn't have to lift it. Because when he was as famous as those scripture masters, he was only a young man in his thirties. And what makes those old guys even more admirable is that Dong Zhongshu, who is in his prime, has begun to recruit high-level apprentices decently and solve his doubts. In fact, at that time, no one in the world, including Dong Zhongshu's students, knew what kind of academic dream Dr. Dong had in his heart. This dream, not to mention, will definitely frighten a group of old people: dominate the rivers and lakes and stand alone in the world!

There are rivers and lakes in martial arts, and there are rivers and lakes in academics. In the history of Chinese academics, the struggle for the right to speak has never stopped. However, in the long course of historical development, ideological scholarship and the destiny of the country often intermittently present such an unbalanced relationship: the country is unfortunate and academically fortunate.

You don't see: In the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the princes competed for hegemony, and the people were struggling to make a living. However, the thoughts of the sons have sprung up one after another. As a result, it was the first spring in the Chinese calendar where a hundred flowers bloomed and a hundred schools of thought contended. Later, Qin Shi Huang ruled the world, burned books and pit Confucianism, and hundreds of schools of thought withered like flowers, but only Legalism was unparalleled in the world...

Indeed, the Confucians of the pre-Qin period did not have a good time at all. Recalling that time, Confucius traveled to various vassal states. The world is sad, but still has a dream, and makes a sad cry "Do it when you know you can't do it" Since then, these words have become the motto of Confucianism in the pursuit of ideals. When the Qin Dynasty collapsed, the Confucian scholars finally saw a glimmer of hope in the cracks of history. Confucian sects and elites have packed up and set out on the road to pursue Confucian ideals for life. Famous figures among these people are: Shusun Tong, Lu Jia, Jia Yi, Chao Cuo and so on.

However, in Dong Zhongshu's view, Shusun Tong is just a mixer who keeps pace with the times, and Jia Yi and Chao Cuo are just short-lived saviors of Confucianism and Taoism. If he wants to do it, he will be an eternal thinker!

Every thought has a source. The source of Dong Zhongshu's thought is the Five Classics, and his major in the Five Classics is "Spring and Autumn". If you use the words of the rivers and lakes, "Spring and Autumn" is the secret of Dong Zhongshu's practice!

Open martial arts novels, we can all find that the so-called martial arts masters have to go through a long process of retreat and cultivation. The same is true for academic and martial arts, and only by enduring great loneliness and loneliness can we achieve superior kung fu. Two thousand years ago, Dong Zhongshu, his retreat record was three years! I haven't peeped into the garden for three years, let spring come and summer, and the grass grows and the wind rolls in winter...

What about the work of teaching and solving doubts? Dong Zhongshu had already thought of a good way: first summon the senior disciples and a few other students to preach, and then let them preach for him. This method greatly saves the cost of Dong Zhongshu's fatigue. So one passed on ten to hundreds, and the result was: How many apprentices and grandchildren there are, Dong Zhongshu is not clear; And the students don't even know what their ancestors look like. Of course, there are still cases of students coming to the teacher to chat. However, if a student comes to visit, Dong Zhongshu will tell them that it is not easy to practice for a teacher, so don't disturb easily.

Three years have passed in the blink of an eye. At this time, Dong Zhongshu finally came out of the mountain.

When a martial arts master practices peerless martial arts, perhaps he is left with only one feeling: pain. As the saying goes, it's too cold to be in high places. The pain of the master is all because there is no opponent. is like the lonely defeat in Jin Yong's novel, only seeking one opponent in his life, it is enough!

When you think about it, it's not surprising. When all the desires of life are satisfied, people are prone to become bored. So: don't be a master easily. To be a master, you must be prepared to endure boredom.

Back to the front, after three years of retreat, Dong Zhongshu finally practiced the result: an ideological work "Spring and Autumn Dew". At this moment, he has no pain, only fighting spirit. Dreams are like stimulants, urging him to go down the mountain full of pride. He has every reason to believe that his time is coming!

In that exam, Dong Zhongshu only had three strategies, and he completely got Liu Che, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, right! "The Three Strategies of Heaven and Man" is very long, and it is simply organized as follows:

The first policy - Liu Che "Where is the root cause of the catastrophe in nature?" What can I do so that the heavens can bless His Majesty "Dong Zhongshu" and want to know the answer? Unfortunately, I don't know either. But "Spring and Autumn" knows about a thing or two. Allow me to answer your question by quoting from the Spring and Autumn Period. "Spring and Autumn" believes that heaven and man can sense each other. If something contrary to common sense happens in the world, the heavens will warn you with a strange image. If the people on earth die and do not repent, then the heavens will have no choice but to be unkind. Therefore, if you want to be blessed by the heavens, the best way is: as the emperor, first manage yourself, then manage the officials, the hundred officials manage the people, and the people take care of their children. I believe that the heavens will see it, and it will let you enjoy his spiritual blessings."

The second strategy - Liu Che "I heard that Yao Shun takes care of the world and advocates inaction, and he is at ease all day long, and the country is not a big deal; King Wen of Zhou was so busy all day that he couldn't even take care of eating, and the country was in good hands. So which one should I learn from these two" Dong Zhongshu In fact, whether it is Yao Shun or King Zhou Wen, their methods are right. As for which one you want to emulate, everything must be based on national conditions. I think that according to the current situation in our country, it is necessary to work hard. If you want to be promising, you have to do something practical for the country. To do practical things, we must start from the following aspects: First, to establish the concept of governing the country, we should use morality as the main punishment and punishment as the auxiliary, and emphasize morality and far away punishment. The first two emperors have done a good job in this regard, please keep up the good work. Second, it is necessary to vigorously grasp ideological building and define the idea of national unification. In layman's terms, it is: respect Confucianism alone, and overthrow a hundred schools. Please note: it is deposed, not burned or pitted. Third, pay close attention to education. What is the most expensive thing in the world? Talent. Where does talent come from? Educate. Therefore, if you want to rejuvenate the country, you must first promote education. If education can't be developed, if you want to seek development and plan for the future, that's nonsense."

The third strategy - Liu Che "What kind of heaven and man induction theory you talked about earlier seems to be a bit mysterious, please explain it to me again" Dong Zhongshu is actually not mysterious at all. When Confucius wrote the Spring and Autumn Period, he recorded many disasters and changes. It is to tell us that we are all living under the nose of the heavens, and if we do not do things well, we will be punished by it. To put it more bluntly, I just want to emphasize the glorious tradition of divine authority of the monarch, combined with the idea of great unification emphasized in the "Spring and Autumn Period", to establish a human relationship: the monarch is the minister, the father is the son, and the husband is the wife. These three principles and five constants are the royal road. The Tao originates from the sky, the sky does not change, and the Tao does not change. These are the theoretical foundations that must be used to govern the country."

It can be summarized as follows: the first strategy is the induction of heaven and man; the second strategy is to depose the hundred schools; The third policy is to respect Confucianism and respect the way. "Three Strategies of Heaven and Man" is like three optimus pillars, laying a strong foundation for the 400 years of the Han Dynasty and even the entire 2,000-year history of Chinese feudalism! Since then, the Confucian idea of great unification has profoundly influenced the development of Chinese history. No matter which dynasty or generation, even if it is divided, it will eventually return to the ancient proposition of Dong Zhongshu. Excluding the absurdity of the theory of heaven and man induction, Dong Zhongshu only used the idea of unification in the Spring and Autumn Period to seal his throat with a sword against all academic opponents, which should be immortal!

However, Chinese history has paid a huge national cost for Dong Zhongshu's immortal thought. Since then, the contention of a hundred schools of thought is like a hundred flowers withering, turning into ashes and soil, and the brilliance is no more! Even if the wind of history is blowing and the sky is full of dust, it still can't roll up the once free souls of the sons of the Spring and Autumn Period! Behind the glory, there is endless sorrow. Perhaps this is the fate of our ancestors?

In fact, if we carefully study Dong Zhongshu's three strategies of heaven and man, we will find that he is not necessarily clever. Heaven and man induction, that is Zou Yan's Yin-Yang family concept; Academic monopoly and dominance, that is what Li Si once did; Respect for teachers and education, that is what Mencius said to King Hui of Liang many years ago. The unification of the country is the original intention of Confucius in "Spring and Autumn"...

Therefore, after three years of practice, Dong Zhongshu did not invent new things, but invented new skills. That is: he is very clever in mixing the ideas of Confucianism, Yin-Yang, Taoism, Legalism, and Masters into a new product.

According to the principle of the market, there must be supply if there is demand, and there may not be demand if there is supply. At that time, Confucius and Mencius went all over the world and failed to promote Confucianism, because the product was out of date, and the princes did not believe that it could help them to claim the throne. And the reason why Dong Zhongshu was successful in selling can only be said to be like this: he has a good luck. That is, at an appropriate time and place, I met a big customer who was in urgent need of Confucian products - Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty!
