Chapter Seventy-Five: Who Else
Buddhism's "Jizo Sutra" says that Jizo accepted the trust of Shakyamunia before Nirvana and made a vow that "hell is not empty, and you will not become a Buddha; All sentient beings are exhausted, and Bodhi is proven"; "If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell" and other grand vows. Therefore www.biquge.info he appeared in the six realms of man, heaven and hell, and made it convenient to save suffering beings from suffering forever. Therefore, Jizo Bodhisattva received the title of "Great Wish Jizo", and Tantra called him "Sorrowful Vajra"
The main idea of the phrase "I don't go to hell will go to hell" is "self-denial". It denotes a spirit of daring to sacrifice for others, a spirit of helping the people through the world.
As a result, Wu Yuanqing said it so domineeringly, but he lost the sacrificial spirit of sacrificing himself, but revealed fearless contempt everywhere.
The good Buddhist ambition has changed, but Yuan Hui can't say anything wrong. The monks behind him were also silent.
Wu Yuanqing breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, and finally coped with it.
A few catties and taels by himself, Wu Yuanqing is still very clear, if he really talks about Zen with this old monk, it is estimated that if he comes a few more times, the old monk will ask if he has not heard of it.
It's definitely not okay to see the tricks all the time, and you don't have that cultivation quality.
However, if he took the initiative to attack, with the Buddhist stories heard by later generations, there would be no problem at all in stumping this old monk.
Having made up his mind, Wu Yuanqing preemptively said before Yuan Hui spoke again: "Monk, you are the one who cultivates Buddhism and Zen, you should be the best at these, and I also have a few questions for you here."
"Okay, donor, excuse me," Yuan Hui said confidently.
"When a man was in trouble, he went to the temple to ask for Guanyin. When I walked into the temple, I found that there was also a person worshipping in front of the statue of Guanyin, and that person turned out to be Guanyin himself. I want to ask why Guanyin worships herself," Wu Yuanqing said with a smile.
"Well, the reason why Avalokiteshvara observes the voices of all beings in the world and relieves them of their suffering, is to listen to the hearts of this person and relieve their suffering." Yuan Hui hesitated for a moment before answering.
Wu Yuanqing shook his head: "Wrong, Guanyin is telling the world that it is better to ask others than to seek oneself when encountering difficulties."
Without waiting for Yuan Hui to think about it, Wu Yuanqing asked the second question: "The wind blows the flag and flutters, is it the wind or the flag is moving?" “。
This time, Yuan Hui replied quickly: "Naturally, the wind moves first, and the flag is moved by it."
Wu Yuanqing shook his head.
"That's the flag?" Yuan Hui said.
Wu Yuanqing smiled, still shaking his head.
Yuan Hui was stunned, it was neither, how could it be?
Wu Yuanqing lightly revealed the answer: "It's your heart that is moving."
"Beautiful," Li Chengqian shouted.
Wu Yuanshuang also applauded excitedly.
"If the heart is moving, the thing is moving, and the heart is quiet, and the monk thinks it is so" smiled and concluded.
Yuan Hui was speechless, those monks' faces were not good-looking, they frowned one by one, Yuan Hui fell into the wind, and their faces were not bright.
Wu Yuanqing didn't care whether their faces looked good or not, and continued to ask: "Monk, do you eat meat?" “
"Don't eat" Yuan Hui replied angrily with a dark face, he felt that Wu Yuanqing was deliberately provoking.
"Why," Wu Yuanqing asked.
"My Buddhist teachings stipulate that monks are not allowed to kill or eat meat," Yuan Hui said.
"As far as I know, when Buddhism was introduced to our country, there was no rule that meat should not be eaten. It was only when Emperor Wu of Liang Xiao Yan was ordered that the monks of the whole country should not eat meat. Moreover, the Buddha cultivates the mind, the wine and meat pass through the intestines, and the Buddha sits in his heart. As long as there is a Buddha in your heart, why should you care if you eat such a foreign object as meat?" Wu Yuanqing responded with a famous quote that is said to be Jigong.
As for the sentence behind this sentence, "Those who learn from me go to hell, and those who slander me go to heaven", Wu Yuanqing should not know, anyway, he will bluff Yuan Hui first.
And Yuan Hui was really frightened by this sentence that seemed to be rebellious and profound, and opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
Strike while the iron is hot, and pursue while you win.
It is advisable to chase the poor bravely, and not to sell the name of the overlord. Those who have studied this verse understand what it means to take advantage of his illness to kill him.
Wu Yuanqing smiled slightly, and opened his mouth to release the last big move: "There are people in the world who slander me, bully me, insult me, laugh at me, despise me, despise me, and lie to me, how to deal with it?" ”
Yuan Hui was directly speechless this time, pondered and meditated for a long time, and thought of several answers in his heart, but he denied them one by one, and always felt that he could not be worthy of this amazing question.
A group of monks looked anxious, and some of them were anxious to scratch their bright bald heads.
"You say, what should I do" Yuan Hui didn't say the answer he thought of after all, and simply kicked the question back to Wu Yuanqing, thinking, I don't know if you ask me, but do you know, don't think that you want to stump me with this question, and you have the ability to say an answer that satisfies me.
Wu Yuanqing shook his head, made a look of extreme disappointment and said: "You are still respected as a high monk, but you can't even answer such a simple question, it is really not worthy of the name."
"Wu Yuanqing, don't be complacent, you have the ability to say an answer that satisfies us" was provoked by Wu Yuanqing's extremely contemptuous words, Yuan Hui stood up suddenly, and greed and anger were left behind again.
"What if I say it," Wu Yuanqing asked with a chin raised and a smile on the corner of his mouth.
"If you say it, I'll admit defeat immediately," Yuan Hui didn't want to say.
"Okay, just wait for your words" Wu Yuanqing clapped his hands and laughed.
"Just bear with him, let him, let him, avoid him, bear with him, respect him, ignore him, stay for a few more years and watch him""
"Okay, the question is beautiful, and the answer is amazing" Li Chengqian and Wu Yuanshuang cheered and spared no effort to support Wu Yuanqing, not saving face for the monks at all.
The key thing is that Wu Yuanqing did this thing really beautifully, and each of the four questions made Yuan Hui speechless.
This question and answer was originally found by Han Shan, a high monk in the Tang Dynasty, who asked his friend another high monk.
In later generations, this dialogue is absolutely high-forced, and if you get this kind of just to face Yuan Hui, who is famous in Jinyang, it is really overkill for anti-aircraft guns to fight mosquitoes.
When Wu Yuanqing didn't finish speaking, Yuan Hui already felt cold in his heart, he knew that he had completely lost, he had lost miserably, and when Wu Yuanqing finished speaking, Yuan Hui's face was even more pale, his body was shaky, and a little monk behind him hurriedly stepped forward to support him.
Wu Yuanqing raised his head and pouted his buttocks, raised his chin and made a look of who else he was, glanced at the monks in the room one by one, and asked loudly, "Who else?" If you are not convinced, stand up, and the young master will fight with you for another three hundred rounds."
All the monks who were stared at by Wu Yuanqing did not dare to look at him, and lowered their heads one after another.
Yuan Hui looked at the invincible Wu Yuanqing bitterly, and sighed gloomily: "Donor, you won."
