Chapter 380: Fuhu Arhat
(a)
In the Huanglong Fortress, after you take the medicine, the pain stops, you fall asleep all of a sudden, sleep for 2 whole days, and when you wake up, there are already a lot of military intelligence waiting for you on the north and south lines.
Wu Shun reported to you the situation in the past few days, and he did a good job of handling the affairs of the whole army during your critical illness and out of danger.
You are happy with his disposition. You look at Wu Shun's dark eyes, and your heart is full of apology and gratitude.
After another day or two of recuperation, your condition has improved further. You're able to sit up.
At this time, the messenger sent letters from Concubine Wang, the King of Han, and Daoji.
You read the concubine's letter first, and your face changed all of a sudden. You've been with me through that scene, and you know what that was going on.
Then you read Daoji's letter. You immediately understood the reason for my sudden miscarriage. It's like you've been punched in the chest, and suddenly your eyes are pitch black and your mind is blank. Daoji's letter slipped from your hand.
When you calm down, you read Liu Shen's letter again. You read his earnest words and understand why he didn't go back.
After thinking about it for a while, you no longer hesitated with deep gratitude to Liu Shen. You decide to leave for Yunjing immediately.
You gave up your determination not to see me before you died, and you decided to go and see me for the last time, to give me the last comfort and encouragement, to give me the last love!
You have decided to cross most of the vast land area as fast as you can, regardless of your physical weakness, to my side.
(b)
You told Wu Shun your decision.
When Wu Shun heard this, he was surprised, happy, worried and anxious. He is glad that you are finally willing to go to see me, and finally willing to be honest with me, which has freed all confusion and misunderstanding, and worries about whether your current body can support such a hard long journey.
You say, "Don't worry. Since Heaven has saved me, it will not let me die on the road. Heaven has given me a little more life to do all the things I should do in this life. ”
Wu Shun consulted the doctors again. The military doctors said that if the general insisted on going back, there was no other way but to bring enough of the medicine sent by Sun Haocheng, regardless of whether it was painful or not, and take it twice in the morning and evening, which should be able to support the general to return to Yunjing, and he would not be too tormented by pain along the way.
However, the military doctors also clearly replied that under such circumstances, if the general traveled for a long distance like this, it would definitely damage his vitality and would definitely speed up the arrival of the last moment. In other words, if you decide to return to Yunjing, you will have to pay the price with the few short lives you have left.
After listening to the doctors' words, you said to Wu Shun: "If this can give her the courage to live strongly, what is the price to pay with your life?" She is still so young, she still has a long life to live, and there is nothing more cost-effective than exchanging the little life I have left for her full life. “
You say, "I can't let her die before me." I can't live up to her parents, and I can't live up to my father's trust. I had to go back and re-inject strength, bravery, patience and warmth into her life and make her realize the strength she had. I'm going back to help her. ”
So, at the end of your life, with your last warmth and deep love, like an arrow from the string, flew to Yunjing, flew to the place where your heart has been thinking about it day and night since the separation of Jinfeng Village, flew to me, flew to me who you loved deeply, and flew to me who thought you thought of being about to disappear.

It's the fastest march you'll ever make. It's faster than when you march twice into the grassland and rush thousands of miles of lightning to attack!
You and your elite guards flew across Liu Shen's vast territory at a jaw-dropping speed, so fast that even the messengers who were delivering orders along the way in front of you almost fell behind you.
The Courier has just galloped to the next pass and delivered your upcoming order, and your horse team has arrived outside the gate.
Along the way, you left the horses that galloped to the mouth foaming at the gates along the way, replaced them with new horses with full strength, and continued to gallop day and night.
Days of wind and wind finally made your already weakened body unable to support it. When you were about to reach Yunjing, after you had run through the Jizhou Mansion and walked to a valley surrounded by mountains, you felt that you could not do it, and you had a headache that even Fisan could not suppress it, and you fell off your galloping war horse with a pale face and fainted.
When you wake up, you find yourself lying in a monk's room. Wu Shun told you that your situation was very frightening, and you could no longer march on horseback, and they were afraid that you would be in danger in the wilderness, so they looked for a nearby place where you could rest and rest. Halfway up the mountain, the guards found a pure monastery deep in the mountains, called Bodhicitta Temple. When the abbot learned of your identity and origin, he respectfully welcomed you, settled you in the quietest and cleanest monk's room, and personally checked your pulse and prescribed to help you awaken and recover.
After a day and a night of rest and recuperation, you finally woke up. You're so weak that it's hard to even sit up. The caravan was forced to stop and stayed again for a day and a night in this monastery in the mountains.
On the third day, your condition improves. You sat up with Guan Wenliang's support and listened to Wu Shun introduce you to all aspects of the past two days. At this time, you learned that the current abbot of this Bodhicitta Temple is actually a well-known generation of monks in the land of the Han Dynasty, known as the "Fuhu Monk" Guangji Zen Master. When you were still studying art in Qingchuan, you had already heard the master and master mention Guangji Zen Master many times, he was a master of the world that you have admired since childhood, and you didn't expect to meet in this barren mountains and mountains today.
You are deeply grateful in your heart for God's guidance. After eating simple noodles and having some strength in your body, you will take Wu Shun with the support of Guan Wenliang to meet the abbot Guangji Zen Master and thank you for your kindness.

Zen Master Guangji received you in the abbot's room.
After the greetings were over, after you expressed your gratitude, you respectfully and humbly indicated your identity as a disciple of the Qingliu Sect and expressed your admiration for Zen Master Guangji.
You say, "When you were young, your younger generation heard many legends about Zen masters, and they admired you for a long time. It's a great honor to meet you today. People call you the Tiger Arhat. I heard that when you were young, you practiced in the mountains, and the tigers in the mountains could sleep with you, and they would wander behind you, and none of them would harm you. “
You say, "There is no greater difficulty in purifying the heart than in getting rid of anger." If we do not remove people's hearts of hurting each other, even if we can end the war with war, it is only an expedient measure, and the root cause of war cannot be uprooted. Although the younger generation is somewhat sure that they will be able to end the war, they are always confused and at a loss as to how to remove the idea of mutual harm in people's hearts. The younger generation has long wanted to come to consult the Zen master: How did you successfully remove the hurting heart of the beast with your bare hands? ”
The abbot smiled slightly and said, "The poor monk didn't remove the hurt heart of the beasts, the poor monk just removed his own hurt heart for them, that's it." ”
The abbot said: "Legend has always been exaggerated at the beginning of adding oil and vinegar, and the so-called Fuhu is actually not so mysterious. ”
The abbot said, "More than 30 years ago, a poor monk meditated alone in the mountains here. At that time, the place was still deserted, only deep forests and wild beasts. One day, the poor monk found a cave that was dry, secluded, warm in winter and cool in summer, and thought that this was really a good place to meditate, so he meditated there. After sitting for a while, a fishy wind came from the entrance of the cave, and when I opened my eyes, I was startled that three huge wild tigers were walking in from the entrance of the cave. ”
The abbot said, "They blocked the entrance to the cave, and there was no other exit in the cave, and they found me." The poor monk thought that he would definitely die this time, but it was okay that when they were full, they would not hurt others for a while. So he closed his eyes and made a vow that he would feed these tigers with flesh and blood, that they would be fed and clothed, that they would soon be freed from the body of this animal, that they would attain enlightenment as soon as possible, and that they would no longer live by eating other life. ”
"After making the vow, the poor monks sat there in peace, waiting for them to come and tear me apart. After waiting for a while, there was no movement, so I opened my eyes again and saw that the three tigers were lying down beside me. Their eyes were quietly watching me, and they slept lazily on the floor, not at all looking like they wanted to eat me. Since then, we have shared the cave. They sleep, I meditate, and I don't disturb each other. ”
"During the day, when I went out to look for some wild vegetables and fruits to feed my stomach, they followed me out. When you see it to the surrounding mountain people, it will be passed around, and it will be spread to the gods. ”
After you heard this, you bowed to the abbot. The abbot asked, "Why is the benefactor like this?" ”
You say, "Hats off to your bravery." It is not true bravery to destroy all enemies for one's own benefit; Being able to sacrifice everything you have for the sake of the enemy's interests is true courage, and it is even greater courage. ”
When the abbot heard this, he nodded and said, "Good, good." It is really commendable that the donor can have such an opinion. ”
The abbot said, "Self-benefit is benevolence." Without my benevolence, Fang is brave. ”

As for the conversation you had with Zen Master Guangji at the Bodhicitta Temple that day, I later learned from Wu Shun's mouth.
Wu Shun said that after you met, you fit each other well, and you have the meaning of seeing each other late. Although you only stayed at the Bodhicitta Temple for three days and three nights, you had two deep conversations. One was to sit in the meditation room and drink tea, and the other was to walk side by side along the path outside the temple.
Wu Shun didn't hear all the content of the conversation, and he didn't understand the scale and half claw he heard, but he vaguely remembered the story of Fuhu in front of him, and the rest were not clear because he couldn't understand it.
Wu Shun said that he just intuitively felt that these two deep talks between you and Zen Master Guangji made you suddenly enlighten and understand in many ways, and you felt that you had benefited a lot, and I was very grateful to Fang Zhang's teaching.
After three days and three nights of rest and recuperation, your vitality will be restored, and you can get on the horse again.
Considering the danger of my situation, Concubine Wang Taishu is waiting in the palace with her eyes pierced and anxious, and you can't stay here any longer. After your body recovers, you will say goodbye to Zen Master Guangji.
Zen Master Guangji led the monks to send you outside the mountain gate.
You and Zen Master Guangji make an appointment, if there is still a chance to meet in this life, you should come here again to ask for the method of peace of mind. If you don't have a chance in this life, you will definitely come to find a Zen master and study under your seat.
But this is the eternal farewell between you and Zen Master Guangji in this life. You never had the chance to return to this place and continue the conversation.
As for the content of the two deep conversations between you and Zen Master Guangji, I only heard from Zen Master when I brought my son to Bodhicitta Temple to pay homage to Zen Master Guangji many years later.
In the last stage of your life, you asked Zen Master Guangji a question that brought tears to my eyes after listening to it.
Yes, you are such a person, at the end of your life, what you think in your heart is my pain, the pain of the people of the world, and what you strive for is the most unbearable pain for me and the people of the world. You've never thought, mentioned, or asked about the immense pain you've endured.
A real hero, that's what it is. He can completely let go of his own pain, to bear the pain of others, to bear the pain of the world.
