Chapter 978: Conclusion (I)
(a)
Two years ago today, I came here and started uploading this most important book of my life.
At the time, I didn't know what kind of website it was, what kind of people were gathered here, and how it worked. I haven't read any of the works on it, and I haven't spoken to any of the readers or authors here.
All I know is that this is a Chinese Simplified Chinese website with a relatively large reputation and a large collection of online works.
As I said before, in fact, my preferred website for uploading is not here, but Douban Literature. It's a site that I visit a lot and enjoy. I was there for a month of uploading. However, without knowing where its sensitive mechanism was triggered, it automatically deleted all the chapters I uploaded without any warning. In the subsequent processing of the appeal, it can neither explain why those sections were deleted, nor can it technically restore the content of the deleted chapters, resulting in the loss of all the chapters. I had to rearrange the chapters.
This blow made me completely give up Douban and turn here.
The website framework here is still more suitable for uploading works.,It's not that sensitive.,If you want to delete it.,At least I'll send a site message to notify you.。 And, this time, I'm fully prepared to back up whatever I'm uploading locally.
And so began my two-year writing life here.
(b)
Here, I started by making covers and gradually got to know a lot of people.
Starting from the advertisements in the message area, I joined some author groups, found some friends who do art business here, and then through them, I entered various cover groups, and met more new authors like me, who have just come in and also have the need to make covers.
In this way, I slowly had my own circle of friends, and began to truly integrate into this online community and become a member of it.
However, two years have passed, and those who knew each other at the beginning have been scattered, and there is not much left.
Some of them are exhausted and unable to write, some are forced by life to write again, some are struggling to persevere, there is no hope of signing a contract, and they have turned to other websites, some have failed to meet talents, retired in anger, and decided to close their pens from now on, and some have gradually realized that the cultural taste of the category of online literature is too low, and the author group is too young, so they give up in disappointment and continue to create in this category.
In the days of mixing in this online community, what is enthusiastically discussed in the group every day is the number of clicks, the number of favorites, the number of recommended votes, the number of first orders, how to increase the number of readers, how to make more money, and how to become a god.
Everyone is full of desire for fame and fortune and inner anxiety, waiting for the light of fate to suddenly shine.
Every day, the screen is filled with fiery desire and black viscous disappointment and anger.
People are trading data on the black market, exchanging subscriptions, and liking each other's underground transactions.
A little more advanced than this is the discussion of online literature writing technology.
Everyone judges each other's new chapters and corrects each other's paragraphs and texts that they feel are inappropriate.
Some authors who lack self-confidence will even post every line they write on the screen, asking for everyone's opinions on the text, carefully considering the words, and scrutinizing them again and again.
However, few people have thought about the impact that these things I write and send to the public space of the Internet will have on the hearts of the people of the world.
Few people are discussing: what beautiful things can be brought to people's hearts by these things I write, how can they be moved, how can they be inspired to improve the quality of life, and how can they purify the spiritual atmosphere of society.
This is something that is often hotly discussed in Douban literature.
Many people here only have money in the pockets of readers in their eyes, and only their own interests. Writing is only a tool for gaining fame and fortune, a shortcut to getting rich, not a dedication to the spiritual life of mankind, not a sublimation of one's own life.
Impetuous and impatient, eager for quick success, and bent on demanding, it is like a rolling black cloud hanging over this website, which fills this place with a miasma of black smoke.
The readers here do not want to get spiritual nourishment and spiritual enlightenment from here, or even need to get beauty from here.
Their favorite word to use is "cool".
They just want to get some sensory stimulation with the help of the quick reading of the simple pleasure here, so as to leave the cruelty and heaviness of real life, and imagine the kind of daydream that they get rich overnight without working hard, or reigning in the world overnight, playing with everyone in the palm of their hands, occupying three thousand beauties in the harem, doing whatever they want, and being the only one.
I had never been exposed to this kind of writing before, nor had I been in contact with this kind of people.
I was very surprised, and then very heavy and heartbroken.
For the first time, I learned that this is the huge number of my country and my people.
It should be said that here, I received a profound education in basic national conditions.
This makes me feel even more deeply that as a writer, our mission of educating the people, opening up the wisdom of the people, and inheriting the fine traditions of Chinese civilization is really a long way to go, and it requires many people and many generations to devote their whole lives and perseverance to turn the tide.
The rise and fall of the world is the responsibility of the husband. It is incumbent upon the people to be enlightened.
Our generation of literati should work hard!
(c)
Of course, I also gained valuable friendships and made a lot of friends here.
The uneducated ignorance of the vast number of people makes people feel heavy, but under the ignorance there is still a good human nature as pure as water, which makes people feel uplifted.
Some friends and I don't know each other, but they can always be in love with each other, like a warm bonfire, burning around. They come to praise and support every day, even if they are forced to leave the field of online literature because of life, or go to another station to make a living, they will still come back from time to time to send blessings and love.
Some friends, who do not have any desire for fame and fortune, can speak up, face the trolls foaming at the tide, stand up, defend in many ways, and become messengers to protect flowers.
Some of the friends even talked more deeply and became spiritual friends, exchanging with each other the deepest pain and the most secret experiences of life.
I have met a lot of people who would not have had the opportunity to have a deep friendship in real life, such as security guards, unloaders, couriers, assembly line workers, shampoo girls, cleaners, chengguan, forklift drivers, and students.
I listened to them talk about their dreams, the setbacks in their lives, the trauma of love, the twists and turns of job hunting, the pressure of studying, and listened to them express their love for their motherland, their yearning for wealth, and their curiosity about the world.
They have given me valuable trust and selfless and continuous support for the micro-public welfare projects of this book.
This experience has become one of the warmest parts of my life in the past two years.
Perhaps, in the future, I will write about some of these experiences, those lovely and respectable people, in another work.
Under their warmth, I vow that all beings who have had any relationship with this book in any way, I would like to form a Dharma relationship with them, so that I can lead them through the sea of life and death and happiness in the future.
Including those who have spurned the book and commented badly about themselves.
If so, we can live up to each other's online encounters and repay their support and education.
