In 1879, dozens of Russian Cossacks arrived in Persia under the leadership of cavalry lieutenant colonel Alexei Domankovich, and the Persian Cossack cavalry regiment was announced that year with a strength of 400 men, and the following year it was expanded by more than 1,500 men, which was also the most elite army in Persia at that time.

Of course, Russia did not have any good intentions, and it was exported to the Persian cavalry at that time in order to indirectly control Persia, that is, later Iran, but unfortunately, this cavalry division took root in Iran and has developed until now, because Reza Khan relied on the coup d'état launched by the Cossack cavalry, and even in later generations there is this saying, the Pahlavi dynasty was established by the Cossacks.

Although Reza Khan became the king of Iran, he carried out drastic modernization reforms and introduced German advisers to build a new style of military government, but the Cossack cavalry was still their most powerful force!

Earlier, the use of mechanized brigades for sneak attacks was just a decoy, and just after the mechanized brigade attracted all the attention of the Soviet artillery, the Cossack cavalry, having gone around behind the Soviet artillery, their task was to completely surround and destroy this artillery!
