Chapter Thirty-Seven: Reunion After Farewell

When I got to the second class, my heart was pounding. I slowed my pace, and I stopped, straightened myself, and was sure that there was nothing wrong with me. I took a breath, adjusted my facial expression, and walked over as I normally would.

- However, I was immediately disappointed. Because, I only saw Wu Shun standing there alone. You're not there. Only the beautiful and quiet portrait of your deceased birth mother, as always, stares at me on the wall.

"Why are you alone?" I couldn't help but ask him.

Wu Shun looked at me with a grin. He said, "Say hello to Miss." The young master was left in the city by the King of Han. ”

I said, "No kidding, my father said you all came back together." ”

Wu Shun smiled again and said, "Okay, it's back together." However, the king of Han assigned the Qingfeng Village camp to the young master, and there were five hundred soldiers. He said he would go to the mountains to see the camp first, and that it might be a day or two before he could return home. ”

"How could he go to camp without taking you with him?" I say.

"He was afraid that some people would be anxious, and he was afraid that some people would want to know about the situation in Dongcheng, so he let me stay and be questioned by some people."

I blushed. I said, "Really? ”

Wu Shun said, "Yes." If no one was in a hurry, and no one asked me questions, then I put my things away and went to the camp in the mountains. ”

My mood went down all of a sudden. I looked down and said, "Got it." ”

I lowered my head and walked back to the small building where I lived. I leaned on the railing and walked slowly upstairs with heavy steps. I stood in front of the door for a moment, sighed inwardly, and lazily pushed the door open.

- And then, then, I saw you!

You sit at the small round table and look at me with a smile. In a vase on the table was a large bouquet of colorful flowers.

You see me. You stand up: "Qin'er, I'm back." ”

I look at you and feel the blood rushing to my face all over my body.

I stood dumbfounded, unable to make a sound.

The best thing I've ever heard in my life is when you say to me, "Qin'er, I'm back." ”

We stared at each other, our moods ebbing and flowing.

You say, "Are you all right at home?" "My eyes were moist.

I nodded and said, "Everything is fine." ”

Say, "These flowers were brought to you by me on the way." Do you like it? I also brought you a gift and put it at Wu Shun's place. ”

I'm looking at you. My voice trembled and I said, "The flowers are beautiful. I like it. ”

I lowered my head and said softly, "Yes." As he spoke, a line of tears streamed down his cheeks.

You put your hands on my shoulders.

You say gently, "What, tears?" ”

I quickly wiped away my tears with a handkerchief, and I said, "Floral fragrance." ”

You say, "Then I'll take them away." ”

I hurriedly said, "No." No. After a while, the eyes get used to it. ”

You look at my tears, and a strong tenderness wells up in your heart.

You say, "I said it, you can trust me." ”

I wiped my tears again. I nodded.

You gently took the handkerchief from my hand. You help me wipe away the remaining tears.

You look at me. I breathed.

You say, "Jean." ”

I said, "What? ”

You say, "The days that I can't see you are endless, every day." ”

You say, "I've never felt this way before." ”

Tears welled up in my eyes again.

In the midst of the tears, I said, "Me too." ”

After a thrilling farewell, we were reunited. However, after the reunion, there will be a new parting. Life is the process of constantly saying goodbye to everything you love.

Joy is always short-lived, not long-lasting. That's why it's called joy.
