Chapter 314: Emei Mountain

Chapter 314: Emei Mountain

Everyone didn't seem to be surprised that the fifth sister said such a thing, everyone was completely on a natural expression, and Zhu Zhishu, the king of Shu, asked: "Fifth sister, what conditions do you have to tell it, everything is easy to discuss, your second brother, third brother and several of their brothers will definitely agree to you, right?" ”

Several princes couldn't help but feel miserable when they heard this, but they didn't expect that the king of Shu was really insidious as always, and he pulled them all into the water with a word, but it was impossible for them not to agree, so everyone could only cope and nodded.

Zhu Rou saw that everyone agreed with her, her eyes rolled upwards to reveal the whites of her eyes, but she said something like this,

"Big brother, you are so cunning, you have made them promise me, but the eldest brother himself does not agree?"

"Little girl, I know I can't hide from you, of course the eldest brother will definitely agree!" Of course, Zhu Zhishu, the king of Shu, said this on purpose, and the biggest advantage since this is of course that he got cheap as the eldest brother, only the fifth sister thanked him, and the other princes were all foils.

"That's pretty much it, then I'll talk about it!" Zhu Rou pretended to be mysterious and said.

"Say it, say it!" Everyone is looking forward to what kind of conditions she will tell to make it difficult for everyone!

"That's the condition.......... Actually, I haven't figured it out yet. I'll tell you when I think of it, you owe me three wishes anyway! Don't cheat! ”

Zhu Rou dropped another sentence and jumped out of here!

"I'll go over now to see if what you say is true, but don't lie to me, or ......!"

Zhu Rou's threatening words really made Prince Taiping's face change suddenly, as if he had eaten Coptis chinensis. Because he knew that what he was talking about was made up by himself, he was afraid that his fifth sister would not go! Who knew that in the end, they would end up tricking themselves into their traps!

"This girl is really spoiled by you!" Zhu Zhishu, the king of Shu, said with a smile.

But at this time, everyone said in their hearts at the same time, "It's not that you're spoiled!" ”

....................

Wan Qiyang has been away from Chengdu Mansion for two days, and at this time he is still in the county town at the foot of Emei Mountain, and he will not care too much about the construction of the grain production base and the production of crops, because these things can be handed over to Zhao Long to do now, anyway, with the cooperation of the government, plus these are also people's livelihood issues, the government is also happy to see such a good thing, and this is still the biggest official order from his boss. Wan Qiyang was thinking at this time that since he had arrived at Emei Mountain, should he visit it?

In the past, Mount Emei was just a boulder with a radius of more than 100 miles, gray and white in color, high and blue sky, and no grass grows. In order to build a beautiful home, a clever and capable stonemason and his wife, a skillful embroiderer, determined to use their hands to hew the boulder into a green hill. The gods of heaven were touched by their determination and efforts. With the help of the gods, stonemasons chiseled boulders into rolling hills and deep canyons; The embroidery girl threw the carefully embroidered cloth and colored handkerchief into the sky, and the colored handkerchief floated to the top of the mountain, turning into a colorful halo of incomparably gorgeous; Bupa fluttered on the rocky mountain, turning into green forests, floating clouds, waterfalls and springs, blooming mountain flowers, singing birds, jumping monkeys, and wandering beasts. The green mountains danced, and the green waters sang. Because this green mountain is as beautiful as the eyebrows of the embroidered girl, people call this green mountain Mount Emei. In some historical materials, such a legend is recorded: in the sixth year of Emperor Yongping of the Ming Dynasty of the Eastern Han Dynasty (63 years of the Common Year), "on June 1, there was a Pugong person, collecting medicine in Yunwo, and saw a deer trace like a lotus, which was different, and there was no trace of chasing it." Because he asked the Baozhang monk who practiced on the mountain, the monk said that it was the Bodhisattva Fuxian who "appeared in Mount Emei according to his wishes". After Pugong returned home, he gave up his house as a temple, so Mount Emei became the dojo of Fuxian Bodhisattva. Another information says that when Pugong of the Jin Dynasty was collecting medicine on the mountain, he saw an old man riding a white elephant and disappeared. The subsequent accounts are largely consistent. According to beliefs and legends, when temples were built in successive dynasties, they were centered on Fuxian Bodhisattva, and became one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism.

According to legend, Buddhism was introduced to Mount Emei in the 1st century AD, and the Buddhists of the late Han Dynasty established temples here. They regard Mount Emei as the dojo of Fuxian Bodhisattva, mainly worship Fuxian Dashi, and believe that Emei is the place where Fuxian Bodhisattva manifests and preaches the scriptures. According to Buddhist scriptures, Fuxian and Manjushri are both the two major attendants of Shakyamuni Buddha, Manjushri shows "wisdom", and Puxian shows "virtue". Fuxian Bodhisattva cultivates ten kinds of vows, also known as the "Ten Wishes King", so he has won the honorific title of "Daxing Fuxian". The image of the Bodhisattva always rides a white elephant with six tusks, as a symbol of great aspiration and complete merit. The reputation of the Bodhisattva spreads far and wide, there are widely believers, the Bodhisattva prospers because of the mountain, and the mountain is famous because of the Bodhisattva.

In fact, according to legend, during the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a Taoist palace on the mountain. After Mount Emei was revered as the Bodhisattva Dojo, the whole mountain was changed from the Tao to the Buddha. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the high monks Huizhi and Mingguo Zen Master successively went to Mount Emei to live in tin and practice. During the Tang and Song dynasties, the two religions coexisted, and the temple and palace view were greatly exhibited. On the occasion of the Ming Dynasty, Taoism declined, Buddhism flourished, the monks once reached more than 17oo people, and there were nearly 100 large and small temples in the whole mountain. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 15o temples.

This Emei Mountain generally refers to Da'e Mountain, and the current Taoist temple can no longer be found in Da'e Mountain, only there are a few Taoist temples on Er'e Mountain, and it is probably also cleared a lot. Unlike Taoism in Qingcheng Mountain, it has always been hosted by Taoism, and has become one of the sources of Taoism in China. Qingcheng Mountain is said to belong to the Zhengyi sect of the Southern Heavenly Master. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the famous Taoist priest Du Guangting came to Qingcheng Mountain, and the tradition of the Heavenly Master Tao was combined with the Shangqing Dao. In the Ming Dynasty, Qingcheng Mountain Taoism belonged to the Quanzhen Dao Longmen sect. The difference between the Quanzhen Dao and the original Heavenly Master is that it advocates that the cultivator should become a monk, live in a nunnery and become a Taoist, not marry a wife, and not eat meat, and has created a set of cultivation methods for self-cultivation and meditation. Taoist priests live in the mountains, and naturally pay more attention to the maintenance of the palace and the cultivation of mountains and forests. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the war continued, and the Taoist priests fled, until the eighth year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, Wudang Mountain Quanzhen Dao Longmen sent Taoist priest Chen Qingjue to Qingcheng Mountain to preside over the teaching affairs, and the situation changed again. Now Qingcheng Mountain Taoism belongs to the Quanzhen Dao Longmen sect Dantai Bidong Sect.

Therefore, Wan Qiyang is not too optimistic about Taoism in the current situation, and their Zhengyi sect is only influential around Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi, but Taoism in the world is one, and Buddhism is prevalent in the world today, so Wan Qiyang's master will also assign him the responsibility of promoting Taoist culture, as for why he chose him, Wan Qiyang is also confused, anyway, since he has responded to this fate and the title of master and apprentice, he has also gained such a big harvest, Naturally, for Wan Qianyang's character, this matter has already been included in his life plan.

For the current situation, Wan Qiyang thought about it a little or decided to go to Er'e Mountain, to find the Taoist temple above, he didn't know whether the Taoist temple here was presided over by the Zhengyi faction or the Quanzhen faction, so he left Zhao Long and others in Emeishan County, and he only took Song Changqing to follow him to Er'e Mountain.
