Its blue waves are surrounded, the forest is lush, the green grass is like grass, the mountains are verdant, just like the jasper floating river, it is the only tourist island surrounded by water in the Yangtze River, and the opposite bank is like a mountain and a river to confront each other, it is the so-called "Wanchuan East Note, an island is neutral", there is the metaphor of "water park" in the south of the Yangtze River, and is known as "floating jade in the river".

Compared with some famous mountains and rivers, Jiaoshan does not appear tall and prominent, but it has its own uniqueness, that is, the famous first stele forest in the south of the Yangtze River - Jiaoshan Stele Forest, the majestic cliff stone carving and inscription art, making Jiaoshan a famous calligraphy mountain at home and abroad.

Jiaoshan inscription, seal, subordinate, true, grass, line all bodies are prepared, the style is very different, or the ancient steep, longitudinal and strangely deep, or strict and comfortable, it is thick and heavy, it can really be said to be the beauty of the ancient carving of thousands of years, the spirit of the hundred schools of calligraphy.

The Sanskrit sound of the ancient temple, the ancient monuments are gathered, the ancient carvings are numerous, and the ancient trees are verdant, which adds infinite elegance to this famous mountain.

Legend has it that at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the famous man Jiao Guang traveled north and south of the river, when he came to Jiaoshan, he was attracted by this fairyland on earth, so he settled here and lived in seclusion, made at sunrise, rested at sunset, collected medicine and alchemy, helped the world to help the poor, and left many folk legends and stories.

At that time, the emperor heard that he was virtuous, and sent three edicts to invite him to go out of the mountain to be an official, but he was politely rejected by him in the form of old age and infirmity, his wife was sick or traveling, etc., and the descendants changed the cave where he lived in seclusion to the three edict caves, and the name of the mountain was changed to Jiaoshan.

There is a thousand-year-old temple under a centuries-old ginkgo tree on Jiao Mountain, which is the gathering place of the White Lotus Sect.

In the early days, the White Lotus Sect worshiped Amitabha Buddha, advocated chanting Buddha and keeping precepts, and stipulated that believers should not kill, steal, commit adultery, lie or drink alcohol. The teachings of the White Lotus Sect believe that there are two forces in the world that fight against each other, called the light and dark sects. Ming is light, representing goodness and truth; Darkness is darkness, representing sin and irrationality.

These two aspects have been, are and will continue to be waged in the struggle.

After the incarnation of Maitreya Buddha, light will finally triumph over darkness.

This is the so-called "green yang", "red yang", "white yang" of the "three worlds".

The believers serve the "childless mother" and believe in the eight-character mantra of "vacuum hometown, childless mother". The lifeless mother is the ancient Buddha of the heavens, who wants to transform her earthly children back to the heavenly realm to avoid calamity, and this heavenly realm is the vacuum home.

The lifeless old mother successively sent the Buddha of the Burning Lamp, the Buddha of Shakyamuni, and the Buddha Maitreya to the lower realm.

They ruled the human world for different periods.

The White Lotus Sect has many followers, mainly from the lower classes.

In order for them to become organizational slaves of the Secret Sect, they must be made spiritual slaves of the Secret Sect.

He also asked the beginner disciples to swear: "Teach the heart method, lightly spread the rumors, leak to the truth, destroy the yin and yang, turn this body into pus and blood, die in the water, die in the fire, divide the body of the strongman, and the world will hate it." ”
