(a)
Once upon a time, there was a king who ruled over a prosperous land. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info
He married a beautiful queen, and they hoped to have a son to inherit the throne, to consolidate what they had, and to continue the prosperity of the world.
Finally, their first son was born.
But at the first sight of his son, the king was disappointed.
Because his first son turned out to be a born blind man! His eyelids were glued together and couldn't be opened at all. Even if it can be opened, I don't know if the parts inside can still be used.
In great disappointment, the king thought it was a punishment from heaven.
He was reluctant to face such a son every day and night, and at the same time, he also thought that a prince without eyes was absolutely unfit to be a king.
So he announced that the prince had died after he was born. Then he secretly imprisoned this son in the deep palace all this time.
The blind prince didn't even give him an official name, and his parents didn't give him one.
The person who was in charge of feeding and guarding him gave him a random name for the sake of convenience. They called him Little Paper. The meaning is probably that although he was born noble, his life is thinner than paper.

After the birth of this son, the king and queen gave birth to a number of daughters. But the son that the king had hoped for was never born.
Later, the beautiful queen died. And the king took many wives. They also had many daughters.
As he had never given birth to a son, and as the king grew older, he thought more and more of his blind son, who had been confined in the deep palace.
One day, he even went to the cold palace, which he had never set foot in, to see his own son.
At first sight, the nature of father and son, he couldn't help crying.
He found that this son of his, although he had never lived the life of a prince for a day, and had never been favored by his parents, had always lived with dignity.
He not only has a beautiful face and a clean body, but also has a calm attitude and elegant demeanor.
He was very satisfied with the life of coarse tea and light food, and was content to stay in the dark room all day long.
The attendants who were in charge of feeding and guarding him were mostly on good terms with him.
And he also calmly accepted the inevitable bullying and neglect, and had no resentment.
Once, a well-meaning attendant felt that he was so lonely and lonely that he was so pitiful that he was shut up every day, so he gave him a worn-out lute.
No one had ever taught him, so he groped for it on his own, and he was able to play.
When his father came to visit him, he was playing a tune in his cage that came to his mind.
The king stood there and listened for a long, long time.
He didn't hear resentment, he didn't hear resentment, he didn't hear despair, he didn't hear inferiority, he didn't hear despair, he didn't hear madness. All he heard was a lot of notes filled with loneliness. Like the last lament of the last creature on this planet to sing alone. And it is played for all the creatures that have ever existed.
The king shed tears. He stood quietly outside the door for a while, not letting his son know that he had been there. He turned around and left.
Before leaving, he instructed his subordinates to improve the prince's food from this day on, and to accompany him out every day to walk in the courtyard and get some air.
After the king had departed with a sad face, the guards began to talk privately about these signs that the king's mind had changed. Perhaps, the prince's good days are finally coming.
(c)
The guards were right. The king did begin to waver in his original thoughts, and he changed his mind a little, wanting to admit and raise up this son well.
He now felt that a person who was born blind did not necessarily fail to be a good king.
But just then, his second son was born. This is a healthy and strong son.
Then, the third, the fourth.
The blind prince's lamp of fate was thus extinguished.

When the king's fifth healthy son was born, the queen's position was replaced.
The second queen had too many children, was old and decrepit, and no longer attracted the king. The king has a new love.
After being deposed, the second queen was moved to a separate courtyard and died soon after.
Thus, the poor solitary life of the eldest prince in the palace came to an end.
Under the constant persuasion of the third queen, the king decided to get rid of the nightmare of his life once and for all, and get rid of his eldest son of the blind king, so that he would not be threatened by the future king by remaining in the world.
Although the king was ruthless, he remembered the only time he saw father and son.
He hesitated several times, but he couldn't bear to personally order his son to be killed. He decided to leave this son to God to dispose of, and he sent his henchmen to the cold palace, took the blind prince out of the palace, and quietly abandoned him in the wilderness, leaving him to fend for himself.
The blind prince was thrown on a hill called Fengban.
The acolyte who was sent to carry out this task was named Consistent. After doing this consistently, on the way back, I felt like cooking all the way. The guilt weighed him down, and he couldn't lift his head and couldn't ride a single step forward.
So, he turned back halfway. He knelt before the eldest prince, who had already bruised and swollen his face from groping his way, and begged the prince to forgive him for the sin of having to carry out his orders.
He sympathetically comforted the prince, saying that it was too cruel for the king to decide to do so. After all, it's a biological father and son, how can you do this!
But to his surprise, the blind prince did not echo or burst into tears.
The blind prince said to him, "I was born without eyes, without seeing the world, and without reading. But I've heard the attendants talk about cause and effect. ”
He said, "The reason why I was born blind must be because I had a bad character in my previous life, and I did evil many times, which was the evil retribution of my previous life. ”
He said, "Now my father has thrown me into the wilderness to help Heaven complete the punishment of me, and also to help me remove the karma of my previous life. By doing so, my father not only obeyed God, but also took care of me, and at the same time made my mother and younger brothers feel better. Father's doing this is true compassion and true wisdom. It's not as cruel as it seems. ”

He has always been deeply moved by the prince's kind and pure heart, and compared with the prince's kindness, he feels that his life in the past in the court was so dark in his cautious and seeking fame and fortune. He deeply felt that in fact, the real blind people were himself, those who had eyes.
So he always took the prince on horse, took him to a place far from the capital, and placed him beside an official road between a large populated village and a large town.
He always took out the prince's worn-out lute, which he had brought with him to be discarded, and returned it to the prince.
He always said: "Don't worry, prince, when I go back, I will reply that I have taken you to the mountains, pushed you down the cliff, and your body has been eaten by wild beasts." To the king and the new queen, you are no longer alive. They won't want to hurt you anymore. You're free. ”
He said: "From here, a little further along, there are many families, the roads are all smooth, there are no thieves, there are always compassionate people who can sympathize with your hardship and give you alms so that you can live." ”
Always said: "After I go back and resume my life, I will not do it." I will lead my family far away from the capital to escape possible disasters. When I'm settled, maybe I'll come back to you around here. Hopefully you'll be alive then. ”

Always broke up with the prince here.
When the usual sound of horses' hooves disappeared into the distance, the prince was left alone to face the dark universe.
Although he had just said a lot of words of relief to himself, and he had always said comforting words, the prince's heart, after all, felt completely lonely. He held the lute in his arms, and leaned on a cane that he had always sharpened for him before leaving, and fell to the ground, crying bitterly.
Thus began his lonely exile.
He never met the same thing again.
Because on the night of his return to the capital, he was killed with poisoned wine. Since then, no one has known the whereabouts of the prince.
The blind prince disappeared from people's sight, and no one knew where he went alone, what kind of life he lived, and what kind of destiny he had.

This story was written before Koharu.
It was later edited and published by Mr. Yichen.
You have never read any of these stories I have written.
At the end of this story, I write: "This is the fate of the lonely who have nowhere to go. Although he may have met one or two people to comfort each other for a while, he was soon forced to return to his loneliness. ”
I wrote: "This is the common fate of all spiritual wanderers. ”
"It can't be broken."
