In late August, compared to the continuous war in the northern Jin Kingdom, the Song State was still a peaceful scene, the civil strife that led to the death of Song Jinggong two years ago had been eliminated, the Chao Market in Shangqiu City was in order, and the officials wearing soap clothes also entered and exited the palace room early.

The Song Dynasty's storage room was equivalent to a complex of museums and libraries in later generations, so there were not only a lot of bookshelves, bamboo scrolls, but also many artifacts and inscriptions handed down from the Yin Shang era in the corners.

On this day, as soon as the sky was bright, there was a tall old man in plainly dressed clothes in the storage room. He was sitting cross-legged on the ground with a high crown, a kudzu suit, and a cloth shoe, leaning over to look through the bamboo slips, and his long sleeves were on the ground.

It is the Lu people who are entrenched in the Song Kingdom, Kongqiu.

It has been a year and a half since Kong Qiu left Qufu, during which he went to the Kingdom of Ju, the Kingdom of Yi, and finally came to the State of Song.

Because the ruling Sicheng Le of the Song State asked the Confucian family to send a daughter as a wife, Confucius also became a relative of the Le family, and his stay in the Song State was naturally welcome. What's more, Sima Geng, the great Sima Geng of the Song Kingdom, was also a disciple of Confucius, and in history, Xiang Wei, who cut down the big tree he taught and drove him out of the Song Kingdom, had already been killed in the main hall in advance.

Confucius spent most of his time in the Song Dynasty in Songcheng, and the half of the cart of bamboo slips he pulled along the way was almost overturned, and after entering Shangqiu, he was like a treasure, and he was hungry and thirsty in the storage room to find the classics, and almost every day, he and his disciples would appear here.

Today, Kong Qiu first took Yan Hui to look through the bamboo slips weighing several stones, and then returned to the hall with those young Song historians. Listen to the elderly Song Dynasty Taishi talk about literature and the code system. Although in some places, Song Guotai may not know as much as him, but Kong Qiu still has the same good attitude as Yan Hui. is meticulous, and it is exactly what he said: threesome. Then there must be my teacher!

After finishing the morning class, Song Guotaishi asked the juniors in the storage room to perform their duties, and he bowed to Kong Qiu: "Zhongni is a person from the Lu Kingdom, Bogu Tongjin, I am really ashamed to talk about the etiquette and laws in front of you." ”

Kong Qiu smiled and raised his coat and said: "How dare you, Qiu has nothing outstanding, but he never gets tired of learning, from the history of Wei Tai." I can learn a lot. ”

After King Wu destroyed Yin, Wei Ziqi surrendered to Zhou and made his eldest son go to see King Wu of Zhou, and King Wu let him live in Zhou, as a historian, recording the process of Yin and Zhou's Yi Dynasty. Since then, the royal family surnamed Yin Shang has had more branches in addition to the Song State Prince, which is called the Micro History Family.

This family has remained in Zong Zhou and served more than a dozen Zhou kings. Educate children and grandchildren such as pottery people, all become beautiful materials, and the family is prosperous. Until the fall of Zong Zhou, the Weishi family, who lost their fiefdom and had nowhere to go, took refuge in their old relatives in Shangqiu. started his old profession and became a historian of the Song Kingdom.

This Wei Taishi inherited the family school, and is familiar with the etiquette and music rules of Yin Zhou and the Song Kingdom. But even he had to be polite to Confucius. And admit that many places are inferior to Confucius.

Because it took Confucius and Yan Hui less than a year to go through the mountains of Song classics. And each volume has its own unique insights.

At the end, Confucius also said regretfully: "Qiu Zhi's "Poems", "Books", "Rites", "Music", "Yi", and "Spring and Autumn" Six Classics think that they have been around for a long time. Xia Li, I can say it, but from Xia's descendants Qi Guo is not enough; Yin Li, I can say, but from the descendants of the Yin people, the Song is also insufficient, because the documents of the two countries are damaged and insufficient. If there is sufficient literature, then Qiu can collect it. ”

Wei Taishi admired Kong Qiu's self-confidence, but also shook his head with a smile: "Zhong Ni has read all the five thousand bamboo books in the storage room in one year, which is really embarrassing. But don't underestimate the heritage of the Song Kingdom, there is also an inner room below, and the things collected in it may have never been seen before, and now that the office allows it, I will take you down to have a look. ”

Kong Qiu was happy when he heard about it, he had long heard Lao Tzu say that there were some unusual things in the cellar of the Song State Guardhouse, but it was only open to people in the public office, Wu Zhu, and Taishi. Although he never forgot this, he did not take the liberty to mention it, and it was his disciple Sima Geng who asked the office on his behalf to be allowed to take a look.

Wei Taishi asked someone to bring a lantern and asked Yan Hui to wait on it, while he took Kong Qiu to the underground inner room together. The spiral staircase leading to the bottom was very narrow, and as he went further and further down, Confucius felt a chill sweep up the cellar, and although it was not too cold at the end of August, there was an icy breath below.

"Jonny, please," said Wei Taishi respectfully, and then circled the candle in a semicircle. But he saw darkness in the cellar, like a witch and a ghost lurking. The flickering light of the fire illuminated the stone slabs at the soles of the feet, revealing pairs of rock pillars on the left and right, extending into the darkness in the distance, and where the light went, piles of tortoise shells and shoulder blades of cattle and deer were stored by the walls.

Confucius was a little surprised: "This is ......"

"Didn't Zhongni say that Yin Zhi's literature was insufficient? It is true that there are almost no bamboo books and inscriptions from the Yin Shang era, but many of these divination words have survived. ”

Confucius was overjoyed, for him, these things were the key, the key to open the door of Yinli......

However, when Kong Qiu picked up a piece of tortoise shell full of dust and wiped the dust off it, he found that it was a twisted stroke, like a cut of a mosquito and a fly......

"Nowadays, although the princes have different characters, they generally have traces to follow, and I can even understand the bird seals of Wu and Chu, but I can't recognize the characters on these tortoise shells......"

He was a little surprised, looked at Wei Taishi and said, "Could it be that this is the ancient text of Yin Shang that has long been lost?" ”

"Yes, it is the ancient word used by ten generations from Chengtang to Zhongding, thousands of years ago."

Wei Taishi pointed to the things in front of him proudly but a little sadly and said: "Song City, formerly known as Hao, is the first capital of Yin Shang, the palace of Chengtang, and the Tong Palace of Taijia have all stood here. Now a thousand years have passed, the foundation of the Tang Palace can still be found, and the Tong Palace has been repeatedly renovated and is still on the surface, but these tortoise shells, but because of the loss of the country, they are not known to the world, so they can only lie here and cover the dust. ”

Kong Qiu was also silent, and the two old men walked in the ancient history of the Dayi merchants, and the sound of footsteps echoed in the huge mausoleum. The emperors of Yin Shang in the past generations asked the divination of the gods and lay here quietly, staring at them coldly.

After returning to the ground, Kong Qiu said regretfully: "Although these divination words are messy and complicated, they are a window to peek into the early years of Yin Shang's ritual music, but unfortunately I can't recognize those words, dare to ask Taishi, Song Guo can still know ancient characters?" ”

Wei Taishi replied: "These ancient characters of Yin Shang are not far from the Cangjie characters, they are simple and simple, and it is difficult for people today to distinguish them, even if they are very different from the glyphs of the last years of Dayi Shang, so only a few elderly Wu Zhu can master them." If Zhong Ni has the heart to interpret it, it is better to go to the Milli Society and ask the wizard for advice......"

Kong Qiu was stunned for a moment, smiled, but did not speak.

……

Although Confucius had a strong desire to learn, he did not immediately look for Wu Zhu who could interpret the ancient texts of Yin Shang.

Because in his eyes, the Wu Zhu of the Song Kingdom is precisely "the Tao is different, and the one who does not conspire with each other".

After staying in the Song Kingdom for more than half a year, Confucius found that although he was allowed to stay here, and his life was more than a little better than when he was in the Kingdom of Ju, no one listened to his "Tao".

The Duke of Song was young and weak, and the government was controlled by the Sicheng Le clan and the Huang clan, and they were all deliberately emulating Zhao Wuxian's practice in the Lu State, and respected Kong Qiu, but they could not listen to his words.

This is for sure, the people of the Song Dynasty were very stubborn, and they were not very interested in Zhou Li's set, but they did not understand that Confucius, as a descendant of Yin Shang, respected Zhou Li so much.

In the face of questioning, Confucius could only explain like this: "Zhou Jian is in the second generation, and he is depressed! Therefore, I ...... from Zhou"

Few people can listen to this sentence, his set has no soil for survival in the Song Dynasty, but the Song Kingdom has more and more tendency to do the opposite: the princess Nanzi is extremely powerful, and it has reached the level of Daji's "Chicken Sichen"!

She vigorously promoted the witch cult, and incorporated all the witches who were originally confident in worshipping the local gods, and gathered them under the so-called "Heavenly Dao". Recently, believers wearing the Pisces logo have begun to appear in the streets and alleys of Shangqiu in a grand manner, and go to the Hao Society every day to listen to the teachings of Wuzhu.

The year before last, the Song Dynasty was in turmoil, and Zhu Qing and several sons got together, and after the war, the Song Kingdom had not yet been rested, and it was again encountered a famine and a major epidemic. The epidemic did not spread too widely with the help of Lingque from Lu State, but the famine could not be quickly controlled, and for a time the Song State was full of mourning, coupled with the occupation of Zheng State and the end of Xiang's secession, the social contradictions were extremely serious.

In this context, under the leadership of Dawu Nanzi, the so-called "Heavenly Taoism" began to rise. As far as Confucius saw, outside the temples inside and outside Shangqiu City, there were often people sitting on their knees in the dark, and none of them were moving, all of them were engrossed in the preaching altar. On the altar, a white-clad shaman carries a Pisces symbol and preaches with a book called the Heavenly Tao Sutra.

Wu Zhu preached the order of heaven according to the book, connecting people's good and evil, people's birth, old age, sickness and death with "heaven and earth, yin and yang", saying that everything has its order, which is the reflection of heaven and earth in the world, which is somewhat similar to Lao Tzu's thoughts, but very different.

For example, he exhorted the Song people to know how to endure, and also said that all gods and spirits are the embodiment of the way of heaven, and those ghost masters of mountains and rivers, and the rain master and Hebo are all forms of the way of heaven, so no matter what ghosts and gods are worshiped in the people's hometowns, they are actually worshipping the way of heaven.

Wu Zhu generally recites a sutra and explains a sentence. After reading a paragraph, repeat it in its entirety. If you listen carefully, it makes some sense, but as far as Confucius can see, it is full of errors and omissions on the whole. It is generally to persuade the Song people to endure adversity, obey the government, and not discriminate because they are strangers or the ghosts and gods they believe in in their respective hometowns.

However, this teaching, which had many hard wounds in Confucius's view, was very enjoyable in the special context of the Song Kingdom.

In particular, the legend of "King Xuan was born to save all beings" made him even more frightened and regarded him as a flood beast! (To be continued.) )
