Chapter 685: The Failure of "Messing Up".

readx; Especially after listening to the emperor's "crane sound", this added to the shame in his heart:

"I have to pay for all of this. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. biqUgE怂 ļ½‰ļ½Žļ½†ļ½ā€

He wrote this in his last letter to Watanabe Nakasa. What's more, he himself understands very well that after the war he is likely to be convicted of being a Class B war criminal and put on trial, can the Americans let go of the culprits who have caused them huge losses and the death of countless American GIs?

It is better to die a dignified battle death than to be hanged or shot by the Americans without honor. Lieutenant General Ugaki felt that he had more obligation than ever to follow in the footsteps of the large number of kamikaze attackers he had sent to his death.

Lieutenant General Ugaki took off his rank and came to the airport only in a flight suit!

He hung navy binoculars on his chest, and brought with him the short sword that Yamamoto Go[***] had given him before his death. According to his idea, he used all the 11 "Type 96" bombers on the tarmac to attack, but when he got on the plane, he found that most of the "kamikaze" special attack members he had trained were missing. The news of the surrender had spread throughout the training base, and "there was no need to send him to his death," which was what every Lyniao pilot hoped for. The army will no longer exist, and to hell with any military regulations, regulations, commanders, orders, etc. It's time for me to go home, when I'm free. Whoever wants to attack the Americans again with suicidal animals, then go! Anyway, if we don't do anything that goes against the emperor's will, it is tantamount to rebellion, and even though it was Lieutenant General Ugaki who issued the order, this order has become invalid, so it is better not to listen to it! As a result, most of the pilots began to go their own way, like birds and beasts, packed their luggage and rolled up and went home. Only the pilots of the 3 planes who were willing to go with Vice-Admiral Ugaki to seek their lives remained.

Lieutenant General Ugaki climbed into the driver's seat of a bomber, and the pilot, Cho Naga-ming, protested:

"I'm sorry, sir! You've taken my place! ā€

"I'm exempt from you!" Ugaki said with a smile.

"That's not going to work!"

Yuanming Volunteer Commander Cao didn't buy it, he opened the cockpit and sat in the co-pilot's seat. At 7:24 a.m. on 15 July, the three "Type 96" bombers rumbled across the long runway and flew into the gloomy sky. The planes headed southeast to find the U.S. Navy fleet, which was estimated to be stranded off the coast of Okinawa.

At around 8:15 a.m., the radio communications personnel who remained at the Oita Naval Base received the last telegram from the young man Cho Nagaku, which stated:

"I have flown over the US fleet, our plane is diving, long live my emperor!"

There were two wrong words in the telegram of the Yuanming Volunteer Commander Cao, which made the actual situation of Chief of Staff Ugaki's plane very different from what was said in the telegram, and even the wind, horses, and cattle were not related. It is true that the planes are about to fly over the US fleet, but the bombers are not "diving" but downward, but "planting" downward. This can't be blamed on Commander Cao, originally they were going to attack the US fleet, and it would be ideal to dive down and die with a US [***] ship, preferably a heavy aircraft carrier. Now the "Type 96" special attack plane has a long line of black smoke on its buttocks, the tail balance rudder has been blown away, and the engine is blazing with flames, and it looks very 'windy'. Flames slammed down the wings towards the cockpit. The cockpit was even more confused by bullets, the rudimentary instrument panel was torn to shreds, several fist-sized holes were pierced through the front windshield, and cold air poured into the cockpit.

Lieutenant General Ugaki's head hung limply, and the three bullet holes in his chest were still spurting blood, and the cold wind blew the blood into blood foam, leaving the entire cockpit in a blood mist. Yuanming Volunteer Cao Chang was shot in the right arm, and the plane was completely out of control, screaming and rushing into the sea. Under such circumstances, it was indeed very difficult for the wounded soldier Cao Chang to send a telegram back before his death. The original intention of the commander of the soldiers was that the good news can always boost the morale of the noon, so that the lieutenant general and himself will die with honor, who will have nothing to do when they are full of food and have nothing to do, and when the country is ruined and the family is lost, and the soldiers are in a panic, to check whether the people who have died are lying and lying about the military situation?

Vice Admiral Ugaki was able to fly airplanes, but his level was quite amateurish, and his flying expertise was seriously insufficient; he rarely flew planes into the sky himself, let alone flew such "Type 96" medium bombers. If it weren't for the guidance of Bing Cao Changming, the plane would have crashed before it could fly, and there was talk of flying so far, and the blind cat ran into a dead mouse, and found the US fleet squarely. But this does not mean that Lieutenant General Ugaki can complete his 'special attack' feat as he wishes, and if you think about it with your ass, you know that the American GIs will never agree to it.

Vice Admiral Yu Heng's small group collided with the 38th Task Force Fleet commanded by Vice Admiral "Bull" Halsey. Yu Heng saw this huge US fleet with binoculars from a distance, and Chief of Staff Yu Heng sighed in his heart:

"Chief Yamamoto is truly a visionary! The overall strength of the United States greatly exceeds that of the Empire. This fleet only has 6 heavy aircraft carriers, and more than 10 escort aircraft carriers, as for cruisers, destroyers, it is impossible to count them for a while, there are a number of auxiliary ships, and even two battleships are escorting, even the Pearl Harbor Raid Fleet and the Midway Attack Fleet sent at the peak of the Imperial Navy cannot have such strength. And that's just a detachment of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. The US army has other fleets in the Pacific, as well as the Atlantic fleet, plus there are Chinese, British, Australians and Dutch, etc., can this battle be won? Chief Yamamoto probably realized this a long time ago, so he would rather die in battle than see the day of defeat and surrender, I really admire the chief very much! ā€

The US officers and men were already aware of the surrender of the Navy, and the Navy was ordered to cease fire on the spot and not to take the initiative to attack his own ships. However, if he is attacked by himself, it is a different matter, and it is natural and justified to annihilate the offender unceremoniously. No one can say that it is wrong to fight back in self-defense. Vice Admiral Halsey's vigilance was high, and the fleet's alert level was not lowered at all, but strengthened. As the air power commander of the fleet, Liu Xirui has a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of his despicable surname than General Halsey. The Chinese idiom "the dog jumps over the wall" has a considerable philosophical and practical surname, and it is absolutely appropriate to describe the die-hard elements in the current army. At the mercy of this thinking, the number of patrol fighters increased from 15 to 20. The number of anti-submarine aircraft was increased from 5 to 8. All the pilots were not allowed to leave the standby room, and the torpedo attack planes and dive bombers were refueled and bombed, ready to take off at any time. It seems that the whole fleet is not at the end of the war, but at the beginning of it. This arrangement is not unnecessary, and the re-destruction of Yuheng's kamikaze special attack fleet proves that it is not at all superfluous to be vigilant, otherwise it will be the Americans themselves who will suffer huge losses.

The three bomber formations in Ugaki were intercepted by a fighter patrol squadron aboard the Enterprise led by Major Firi Benz, and the young Mr. Benz has been in a bad mood for the past two days. Always with a black baby face, as if someone owed him $200 and didn't pay it back, he was very unhappy. Why? Very simple! In the six years since the completion of the Calavera Carrier-based Pilot Training Base, Mr. Major has been transferred to Europe and the Pacific, participating in the Battle of Britain and the War of Confrontation in the Pacific. A total of 29 planes were shot down over the Germans and themselves. I thought that if I worked harder, there should be no problem with a whole number of 30 planes. Although it can't be compared with Liu Xirui's perverted guy, this guy's fraction is more than 3 times the total number of planes he shot down, and the whole number 200 is not counted. But there's an integer of 30, and it's barely enough to get through. Who knew that this damn man himself would surrender when he said he would surrender, and he wouldn't even say hello in advance. And now it's a good thing, but he was ordered not to take the initiative to attack his plane, which is unlucky enough, and I'm afraid there is no hope for a whole number. You can't fly a plane over the mainland to beat a civil plane, or maybe shoot a seabird to make up the numbers! This is absolutely not a no-no.

The last time I wanted to make up a whole number, I dreamed of an eight-clawed black octopus, and it turned out that the whole number was enough, but the plane was beaten down by the artillery fire of his own people, which was really bad luck. And this time? Why are you so unlucky! But this kid Cole kept comforting himself, saying that it doesn't matter what he says, 29 is already very good, maybe there will still be a chance! Hey! Hey! Unexpectedly, he was really deceived by this kid Cole. When the radar spotted and informed him that three military planes were flying non-stop over the fleet, little Benz was so happy that he was about to jump out of the cockpit. He hurriedly led the fleet to the designated target airspace. When he found out that these were three "Type 96" medium bombers of the Navy, Major Benz was very puzzled. These planes are not "Zero" fighters, and if they don't fire at themselves, they really can't disobey orders and take the initiative to attack and shoot them down. What are these poor "eggshells" for? Is it here to attack the fleet? Joke! What can these 3 broken planes do? Unless they're carrying an atomic bomb, it's a send.'" Is it passing by? But why did it fly straight over the fleet? Aren't you afraid of causing misunderstandings and being beaten? Major Benz Jr. couldn't figure it out, and he led the group to monitor the planes within visual range of both sides. The plane must have spotted this group of US fighters, but it still ignored it and sped up to rush forward. Something was not quite right, and Benz was a little undecided, and he called into the intercom:

"Sea Eagle 2 called the Eagle's Nest, Sea Eagle 2 called the Eagle's Nest, found 3 guests with unknown intentions, please instruct how to welcome them!"

Liu Xirui's voice came from the earpiece almost immediately:

"Seahawk 2, Seahawk 2, that's not the guests it's the bandits, shoot them down! Repeat, shoot them down! ā€

Little Benz exclaimed excitedly:

"Seahawk 2 understands!"

By this time, Vice Admiral Ugaki's small group of planes was almost flying over Task Force 38, and Benz Jr. swung his wings to give the signal to attack, and rushed down in the lead. The 18 F6F "Vixen" fighters, who had been waiting impatiently, rushed down from an altitude of 7,000 meters. Major Benz swooped down on the pilot plane at the front. The poor 3 "Type 96" bombers immediately turned into 3 target planes, and they were particularly large, and the most inferior shooters would not miss the target. Within one minute, one of the two planes flying behind exploded in a volley, and debris flew all over the sky. The other was smashed into a large torch, and the flames enveloped the entire fuselage, and the plane fell down rapidly, and several extremely bored US fighters chased after the torch and fired a string of bullets.

Little Benz fired three long point shots, the first long point shot knocked out the tail balance rudder of the Yuheng plane, and the fuselage of the "Type 96" bomber leaned sharply to the right, and the nose of the plane fell down, but it still struggled to fly forward. A second string of bullets hit the engine accurately, and a thick black smoke erupted, and the flames ignited and rushed down the air to the cockpit. The third long shot shot by Benz Jr. was one step faster than the speed of the flames, and the bullet flew into the cabin, three bullets pierced the driver's seat and entered the body of Lieutenant General Ugaki, and then pierced through the front chest and smashed the front windshield and fell out of the plane, and another bullet pierced the right shoulder of the soldier in the passenger seat. The rest of the bullets flew around the cockpit, shattering the instrument panel and breaking the longitudinal rod. The plane could no longer stay in the air, and it dragged black smoke and flames headlong into the Pacific Ocean, splashing a high column of water. The crash site was about 10 nautical miles from Task Force 38. Lieutenant General Ugaki did not complete his special mission, but he fulfilled his second wish and went to another world to find his chief Yamamoto

After consultation with the Allies, it was decided that the signing ceremony for the formal surrender of the Potsdam Proclamation to the Allies would be held on September 2, 1945. From August 15, when Emperor Hirohito issued a call for surrender, to the end of August, the whole country was plunged into madness and chaos. The stations and docks were crowded with soldiers in various uniforms, all of whom were in a hurry to return home, all of them with a strong liver, and would speak with their fists and fight at the slightest disagreement. Although there were no guns, there was no shortage of bayonets and daggers. In these places, the officers only dare to wear soldiers' uniforms, and the gendarmes don't dare to put one more fart, if you can't get a bayonet, the military stab will greet you, the law is farthest, the murder weapon is the closest, and saving your life is the last word!

The ordnance warehouse was opened, and the weapons stored in preparation for the decisive battle at home could be taken by no one or anyone, and instead of letting the Americans or Chinese take them as trophies, it was better to let them wander among the people, and maybe one day they would come in handy. In the big alley, the drunks wearing hats and clothes diagonally walked crookedly and shoulder-to-shoulder, and walked crookedly with "eight steps drunk on the legs of the imperial army", and the hand that once held the "Wang Ba Box" held a broken wine bottle, and there was no saber on the waist, and a dry cherry tree picking technique was inserted in the knife pin. Robbery, forcible annihilation, and theft occurred frequently, and no one was able to stop them, and the public order situation deteriorated greatly. Fortunately, the Guards Division guarding Tokyo was a hardcore royalist, and any action that might endanger the emperor and the imperial family could be ruthlessly attacked by this elite team, so the situation in Tokyo was not satisfactory and barely reasonable. Some people are even complaining in private, why haven't American GIs and Chinese come yet? Perhaps when the occupying forces arrive, this apolitical chaos that spreads throughout the country will be curbed.

In the three eastern provinces of China, where I called "Manchuria", Soviet troops broke through the defense line of the Kwantung Army in one fell swoop from the direction of Mongol and Sino-Soviet border Xing'ancen. Airborne troops landed in Shenyang, and the puppet emperor of Manchukuo Aixin Jueluo. Fu Yi fled in a hurry and was finally captured by the Soviet army. said that his great retreat turned into a great rout. Some of the troops retreated into North Korean territory, where they were eventually disarmed. Some of them returned by boat to the mainland. The other part was captured by the Soviet army and the Chinese anti-Japanese coalition forces. Some of them became stragglers and hid in the deep mountains and dense forests, but this was not their own land after all, and in the end they were wiped out by the anti-Japanese forces active in the three eastern provinces, or by the Chinese bandits who occupied the mountains and sacrificed their flags. It is said that the Kwantung Army was completely wiped out in a short period of time. Even more tragic is the Yuben immigrants, with the collapse of the Yuben Empire, these invader aristocrats who once rode on the heads of the local Chinese to and urinate suddenly became the lowest "citizens". They abandoned all their possessions, some even abandoning their wives and children, and flocked to the beach by car or on foot, hoping to return to their homeland.

Most of the children abandoned on Chinese soil, some died of starvation, some were adopted by well-meaning Chinese, and later grew up in China and started families, these children have basically become Sinicized and have always considered themselves Chinese. As for those women who could not return to Dongying, they were either reduced to prostitution or married local Chinese residents and peasants. There are even people who marry beggars. In short, in order to survive, everything doesn't matter. It is said that the responsibility of this immigration to such a situation is, of course, that they are bent on expanding and obtaining the so-called "living space", but they are also political axes that "their hearts are higher than the sky and their lives are thinner than paper"!

The U.S. military captured Okinawa, but many of the scattered Japanese troops on the island remained. These defeated and unorganized soldiers were either in groups of three or five, or in groups of more than 10 people, hiding in the ravine and forest. In the name of "fighting guerrillas," in fact, they are the real people who "fight guerrillas without attacking, and hitting without hitting." Their real purpose is far from being as great as "fighting to the end for the emperor." It's about running for your own survival. Captain Shizo Nagao, the squadron leader who once stubbornly defended the Maeda Heights, led more than 10 of his remaining subordinates, and unfortunately became part of the "guerrilla fight". In order to return to the north, he led his men in an attempt to steal a U.S. patrol boat. As they sneaked to the shoreline and approached their target, all of a sudden, countless flares, colorful flares, and tracer bullets with bright tails flew into the night sky. It's like a firework, colorful and beautiful. Captain Zhicun thought that the long-awaited counteroffensive of the Yue army had begun, and he sent two scouts to find out the situation. Soon the scout returned and reported that the Americans were drinking and celebrating their victory, and that the captain did not know that the emperor had announced his surrender, and he wondered what kind of disaster had befallen him.

Although the emperor announced the surrender of the Emperor, this did not dispel the extreme hatred of the Americans that had been cultivated in the army during the four-year Pacific War. In Fukuoka, Kyushu Island, 16 captured U.S. "B-29" pilots were forcibly loaded onto trucks and transported to a small hillside next to the crematorium. On the night before, 8 captured American pilots were beheaded here. American prisoners were forced to strip naked, and then one by one they were taken into the grove and killed. No one can effectively stop this kind of thing from happening from time to time. After the war, the Americans mercilessly arrested all the officers and men involved in such incidents, declared them war criminals, sentenced them to death and were shot, and not even a single private was spared.

He said that he had a lot of troubles, but the internal situation of the Allies, which was the victorious side, was not very good, and no one was satisfied with his share of the cake, always staring at other people's plates, and all hoping to scrape something off the biggest piece of the battle that the Americans had shared. The Soviets made an extraneous demand to gain control of the Thousand Pages Islands. And the Japanese army in northern Hokkaido should also surrender to the Soviet army. Stalin brazenly sent a telegram to President Truman, in which he stated:

"The Thousand Pages Islands were awarded to the Soviets at the Yalta Conference. Although there is no written record, President Roosevelt nodded and agreed. Moreover, he said that he had invaded and occupied the Far East of the Soviet Union many times, and if he did not occupy a little of his own territory this time, the Soviet political axe would not be satisfied! As a victorious country, you deserve something in some way! Such a modest attitude of the Soviet people must have won the sympathy and understanding of the American people! ā€

President Truman finally learned what it means to be "shameless", and it is strange that Sta Pipe actually used the "dead ghost" to blackmail the current president of the United States of America. Whether President Roosevelt promised it or not is only known to God! Truman replied with great annoyance a telegram saying that if it was really a "prize" of the Yalta Conference, then the Americans had no objection to the Soviets occupying the Thousand Pages Islands, but the United States insisted on building several large air bases on the Thousand Pages Islands in case of emergency, and the generous and friendly Soviet political axe and people would not refuse this small request from the United States. On the Hokkaido issue, Truman refused to budge an inch, and the surrender of the four islands on the mainland of Hokkaido must be handled in accordance with the terms agreed upon under the 'Potsdam Proclamation,' and this arrangement must be maintained. Now it was Stalin's turn to have a headache. The lone cultivator was furious, and he called back to say that he didn't expect to get such an answer to his question about Hokkaido, which was a pity! As for the construction of an air base by the Americans on the Thousand Pages Islands, it was not mentioned at all at the Yalta Conference, and President Roosevelt never said it, to which Stalin replied:

"As a rule, such claims can only be made to conquered countries, or to an ally that is unable to defend certain parts of its territory by its own strength, and has therefore expressed a willingness to provide suitable bases for its allies. I don't think the USSR belongs to this class of countries. Since you intend to establish a permanent military base, I must frankly tell you that neither I nor my colleagues can understand the reasons for your request to the Soviet Union. ā€

Truman's first thought was:

"Die! Stupid White Polar Bear! ā€

He did not want to reply to the telegram, which harbored strong hostile sentiments, but after reconsideration he called back that the United States only wanted to establish a temporary military base on the Thousand Pages Islands for use in case of emergency. As a concession, the Soviets could take the Thousand Pages Islands, but not to mention the surrender of Soviet troops in Hokkaido. The Soviets accepted this scheme.

According to the provisions of the "Potsdam Declaration", the army in China should surrender to the army of the Chinese political axe, which of course is the political axe of Chairman Chiang, and the army should also be the army under the leadership of the Kuomintang. However, [***] did not do it, and the Yan'an political axe and the commander-in-chief of the 18th Group Army, Zhu De, ordered that all the puppet armies in the areas controlled by the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army and around the various anti-Japanese base areas must surrender to the [***] army. and preemptively order [***] troops to occupy all the cities they can or are likely to occupy. Chairman Chiang, of course, was furious, and he forcefully pointed out that this was "an abrupt and illegal act that ignores the authority of the central government and himself." He also ordered Zhu De to stop his subordinate troops from accepting the surrender of the puppet army.

They accused Chairman Chiang of hiding in a mountain villa near the Baoguo Temple on Mount Emei during the War of Resistance to escape the summer, but now wanted to go down the mountain to pick peaches, and called Chiang a fascist, "We want to declare to the whole Chinese people and the whole world that the Yucheng Command cannot represent the Chinese people and the Chinese army that is truly resisting Yue, and the Chinese people strongly demand that the anti-Japanese army in the Liberated Areas of China, under the command of Commander-in-Chief Zhu De, directly send his representatives to participate in the right of the four allies to accept the surrender of Yueben." "However, it is generally believed in the international community that [***] this is to advance and retreat. In fact, during China's eight-year War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army led by [***] achieved great results in persisting in guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines, holding back a large number of Chinese army troops, and making great contributions to China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. However, on the frontal battlefield, it was the Kuomintang army that fought a tough battle with the Yue army, and the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army belonged to the [***] establishment, and theoretically they had to obey the command and transfer of the Yucheng Command. Moreover, all the countries in the world currently recognize Chiang's political axe as the legitimate political axe of China, and accepting the surrender of Yuben can only be valid if the representative sent by Yucheng is valid. Regarding this, Mao and his border political axe and Zhu De will not be unaware, but [***] and the armed forces led by him are still relatively weak at present, and this strategy of advancing and retreating will give them more time and more space for survival, which is a manifestation of strong existence in politics.

On August 14, the day before Emperor Momoto announced his unorganized surrender, Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov signed an agreement with Chiang's Kuomintang political axe, in which he did not talk about Mao's border political axe and his party and army, but instead recognized Chiang's legal and only surname for the Chinese leadership. This kind of insulting behavior has become the bane of mutual vigilance and distrust between the two parties and the two countries after China [***] came to power, and also laid the groundwork for the deterioration of relations between China and the Soviet Union for a period of time. Moreover, the style of the Soviets was quite bad, Stalin was bent on firmly establishing himself as a great power in the Far East, and the Soviet Red Army was basically free from effective resistance from the Kwantung Army, which had been greatly weakened, and the Soviets occupied many parts of Manchuria. Every occupied Chinese city was completely plundered, thousands of tons of wheat, flour, rice, sorghum, soybeans, sugar beets, machines, locomotives, paper, printing machinery, electrical equipment, lighting equipment, even office desks, chairs, benches, telephone wires, typewriters, etc., were transported back to the Soviet Union. For the very poor Soviets, garbage was a treasure. So much so that the Chinese people called the Soviet Red Army a Soviet "bandit" army, believing that their behavior was more like bandits than they were.

Since the Soviets have made a move, the Americans will never sit idly by, not to mention that the Chiang regime has always been friendly with the United States and is closer to the United States ideologically. But the Americans are smarter than the Soviets, and even if they want to be robbers, they will not be as naked as polar bears. They suggested that the two parties sit down and talk, and that the referees should be Americans. Knowing that this referee has a clear tendency, it is very likely that the referee will directly become an athlete to participate in the game, which is a very unfair competition, but [***] still agreed, if nothing else, at least he can buy more time in the "rotten scriptures" and be fully prepared for the civil war. But in any case, China's affairs are temporarily settled.

In Vietnam, on the Indochina Peninsula, he was evacuated, but the French came again. Poor Frenchmen salute the United States, Britain, the Soviet Union, China, and France. No one knows how the French became one of the top five, the French were beaten by the Germans in this war, their noses were swollen, they had no choice but to surrender, how could they become 'strong' again? Maybe the Americans and the British pulled in to make up the big five! Not only could the French not be able to straighten their waists in front of the United States, Britain, and the Soviet Union, but they were also unable to speak hard in front of China. The French did not attend a single major meeting of the Allies in World War II, whether it was Casablanca, Tehran, Quebec, Yalta, or Cairo. After all, France is a dead country.

In this great war that swept the world, there were three political axes in France, and Petain was supposed to be the most orthodox political axe of the French Republic, but unfortunately he was defeated and surrendered to the Germans. This axe was finished, Hitler propped up a Vichy axe, and the British immediately found the French General de Gaulle, who had finally escaped to England, to establish the Free French axe. This political axe is a political axe in exile, and the "French Legion" that it has put together can be regarded as a miscellaneous card, including regular officers and soldiers from France who fled to Britain, indigenous soldiers from the former French colonies, and the famous French African mercenary corps, etc., so that the Allies only need its symbolic existence, and they don't expect de Gaulle's political axe-in-exile army to fight any tough battles. Don't even say it, this ragtag team hasn't really fought any decent battles. But the Americans and the British still gave the French enough face, and when they regained Paris, the first force to enter the city was the hodgepodge of Free France, and they also pulled it into the 'top five'. The French had almost lost all their colonies in this war, so they held on to the only colony in Asia. The Americans are not interested, at least for the time being, in Vietnam, and the British are "none of their business, hanging high." The Soviets looked indifferent, and the Chinese could not help the Vietnamese. The Vietnamese had no choice but to take up arms again against the French.

Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient, belongs to China, and according to the division of the theater of operations, the Hong Kong army should surrender to the Chinese [***] team. But the British said that Hong Kong was leased by the British from the Chinese for a period of 100 years, which did not expire until 1997, so Hong Kong should also be counted as a British-controlled area. Moreover, Hong Kong was lost in the hands of the British, and the British had the responsibility to recover it, so the Hong Kong army should be surrendered by the British. The Americans did not dispute this, and the Chinese political axe was too busy preparing for a civil war to take care of it, which was tantamount to acquiescing to the British statement, and the British had successfully relied on Hong Kong.

Throughout the Second World War, China was the victorious country, but it suffered the most losses, as the so-called 'winning the reason loses the money', to a large extent, it was overshadowed by its own allies. Hong Kong has not been recovered, Outer Mongolia has been forcibly swept away, the port of Dalian has been 'leased', and the Soviets are still trying to gain control of the North Manchurian and South Manchurian railways.

On August 28, 1945, before dawn, Naha Airport and Shuri Airport on the island of Okinawa, which had just been occupied and repaired by the U.S. military, were busy. Officers shouted commands, ground crews and mechanics craned their necks to talk, loudspeakers at the airport broadcast announcements of the runway planes ready to take off, the rumble of engines was deafening, the propellers stirred the air, and the winds that blew dust with them. Like a swarm of headless flies, the soldiers bent over and dragged all kinds of equipment to the planes for more than 40 minutes, and only then did 45 C-47 Douglas transport planes fly off the ground.

At a distance of 200 nautical miles from the coast of Honshu, Task Force 32 was also lively. From the "Enterprise", "Hancock", "Saratoga", fighter jets flew off the deck one after another, and a total of 30 F6F "Vixen" circled over the fleet. Fifteen minutes later, Liu Xirui and his subordinates flew to the coordinate area of north-west, and another 30 minutes later, Liu Xirui felt a group of transport planes flying from the direction of Okinawa, with an altitude of about 4,500 meters. Liu Xirui led a group of fighter planes to meet them, and this was the target of their escort, 45 US transport planes that were about to land at Yueben Airport for the first time, carrying nearly 1,500 vanguard troops of the US occupation forces stationed in Yueben. The two planes converged, and 20 fighters flew to the back of the transport planes, and Liu Xirui led 10 "shrews" to fly in front of the transport fleet, and this huge fleet flew straight toward Honshu at an altitude of 5,000 meters, and it was about 8 o'clock in the morning on 28 August.

At around 9:15 a.m., the coastline of Honshu was already in sight, and Liu Xirui felt two 'Zero' fighters flying from the right front, and soon two small black dots appeared. These two naval fighters lowered their altitude and swung their wings as they approached the US military plane, apparently without malicious intent. The plane flew closer, and Liu Xirui in the cockpit couldn't help but laugh dumbly, and the Navy logo on the fuselage of the plane had been brushed off, and a row of English "wele!" was printed on the fuselage. The second plane was dressed exactly the same as the first. These are two planes, Liu Xirui thought with contempt in his heart:

"I really owe a beating! If you are beaten up badly, you have to say 'welcome' to the person who beat him, I am afraid that now when I see the Chinese, I can only pretend to be a grandson with my tail between my legs! It's not a thing! ā€

At about 10 o'clock, this group of planes flew to the Atsugi airfield at the foot of Mount Fuji, and the pilot plane landed first, and the naval escort group led by Liu Xirui was ordered in advance not to land on the mainland of the city, and the fighters circled over the Atsugi airfield. As far as the eye can see, the airport is quite large, but now it looks a little deserted. There are 4 wide straight runways at the airport, which used to be quite busy and there is not a single plane in sight. There is a large tarmac to the northwest of the airport, but now there are only five planes parked in one corner, including the 'Zero' fighter that has just landed and taxied there, with the word "Welcome" printed on the fuselage. There were a few grass-green tents on the side of the runway, and a few guards stood listlessly. Liu Xirui at least felt and could not see any signs of movement or ambush by a large force. The first C-47 aircraft descended to the runway, and the second aircraft also began to lower in altitude, and the landing gear and wheels under the belly of the aircraft stretched out like bird claws. Only then did Liu Xirui lead the fighter group to return.

On the same day and the second day, US transport planes continued to land at Atsugi Airport, and the officers and men of a division arrived at Yumoto and began the occupation of the US army. At the same time, the 32nd Task Force Fleet under Vice Admiral Halsey joined up with another U.S. fleet from Okinawa, and the two fleets joined forces and went straight to the city. On this day, Tokyo Bay was densely packed with warships, a total of 383 warships, plus 1,500 warplanes. However, the Stars and Stripes were flying on these ships.

On August 30, Douglas, a five-star general in the U.S. Army. MacArthur flew from Okinawa to Samoto, and before leaving, a large number of reporters and photographers surrounded his C-47 plane, which made the commander of the Allied occupation forces who loved vanity and like to brag really look good. The special plane finally took off, and on the way to Yuben, the five-star general, who had been looking out of the porthole of the plane with great interest, suddenly took off the corncob pipe he was holding in his mouth, and said to the staff officers who were traveling with him:

"We will use the instrument of Emperor Samoto to achieve an effective occupation, and if nothing else, we will first give Samoto women the right to vote!"
