If you resolutely advance 100 meters, the division commander will be captured or seppuku. "Not being able to capture Junrokuro Matsuura alive became the biggest regret in the Battle of Wanjialing. In the end, after seeing the retreat of the Naka[***] team, Junrokuro Matsuura led a few remnants of the army to escape from the woods tremblingly, and ran into the Suzuki Brigade who came to rescue him.

So far, in the entire later battle of Nanxun Road, more than 30,000 people from the four wings of the 101st and 106th Divisions of the Japanese Army, including Kijima, Ikeda, and Tsuda, and other troops, were completely annihilated by the [***] team. Its 106th Division was almost completely annihilated, with nearly 9,000 men annihilated, more than 300 captured, and only about 2,000 escaped. The dignified 106th Division did not withstand even a day, which was indeed much unexpected by everyone, and they speculated whether the [***] team, especially the Eighth Route Army, which had always been weak in combat effectiveness and did not attack, was lying about its military exploits, but when the military flag of the 106th Division, Lieutenant General Junrokuro Matsuura, the commander of the 106th Division, and a large number of officers such as Akiyama Yoshiro Osa, chief of staff of the 106th Division, were sent to Wuhan by Han Yunhua overnight, everyone closed their mouths with interest.

However, Han Yunhua's troops also paid great sacrifices in this battle, and the casualties of the absolute main assault brigade and one regiment of the Inner Mongolia Military Region exceeded three-fifths of the total strength of the regiment.
