~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The golden sunset paints the early autumn wasteland with a dazzling glow, and the murky river is reflected orange-red, like a red ribbon winding over the wasteland. The huge orange-red round sun reflects the silhouettes of drinking horses. The long wind blows, the horsehair flies, and the whip sounds crisply, adding a desolate poetry to this bleak wasteland.
In such a scene, Zhang Fang did not have the slightest sense of poetry, he looked into the distance with his hands, his eyes flashed, and he muttered to himself: "Golden Arrow Messenger!" Zhizhi Shan Yu's golden arrow messenger! ”
Many things, at this moment, are connected.
In the first year of Han Ganlu (53 BC), there was a far-reaching internal strife among the Xiongnu in Mobei. When the Xiongnu two Dan Yu competed for the throne, the eldest Zhi Zhishan Yu defeated the younger brother Huhan Evil Shan Yu and seized the Xiongnu royal court.
And the defeated younger brother Hu Han Evil Shan was not convinced by one hundred and twenty people, so he did not do two things endlessly, and the clan threw himself into the century-old feud of the Han Dynasty - this is the Southern Xiongnu annex incident that profoundly affected the history of the two Han Dynasty.
At this point, the northern and southern Xiongnu were divided.
The Southern Xiongnu attached the Han Dynasty, and the Northern Xiongnu migrated to the north. The Southern Xiongnu branch has basically stopped, but the Northern Xiongnu are still making trouble.
In the fourth year of Ganlu, Zhi Zhi, who couldn't bear the little brother and the Han Dynasty, was forced to leave the royal court and lead the Northern Xiongnu army all the way north to avoid the edge. Zhizhi first defeated Wusun, and then successively annexed the three kingdoms of Wujie, Jiankun, and Dingling, built an account of Jiankun, and dominated Mobei.
The so-called "brothers are of the same heart, and their profits are gold". On the contrary, if the brothers are against the wall, it is naturally difficult to resist their insults. A divided Xiongnu, no longer the opponent of the Han Dynasty, in the past, Da Danyu, who had been on an equal footing with the emperor of the Han family, began to lower his posture and compete to curry favor with the Han court.
The little elder brother Hu Han Xie Shan first moved south to the border of the Han Dynasty, volunteered to be the barrier of the Han Dynasty, and also sent his son Youxian Wang Baht Louqutang into the court to serve the Son of Heaven.
Zhi Zhishan was not to be left behind, and also sent his son's right general, Yu Lishou, to Chang'an to serve. Of course, he did not do this to show loyalty to the Han Dynasty, but for fear that Hu Han Xie would join forces with the Han Dynasty against him.
In the third year of Ganlu (before 51 BC), Hu Han Xiedan went to Chang'an to make a pilgrimage to the Son of Heaven and was received by the Han Dynasty with unprecedented grandeur.
Not to be outdone, Zhi Zhishan immediately sent an envoy to Chang'an to pay tribute.
It is not so much that the two brothers are on the same page, but that on the national policy of "combining vertical and horizontal", Hu Han Xie is constantly betting, and Zhi Zhi has to call hard.
In the following year, both of them sent envoys to the Hajj to meet Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty and offer gifts. The Han Dynasty treated the envoys of the Huhan Evil Shan more generously, and formed an offensive and defensive alliance with the Huhan Evil to defeat him. This makes Zhi Zhishan thousands of miles away, like a frightened bird, restless day and night.
When Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty ascended the throne, the Southern Xiongnu encountered the "White Disaster" (Snow Disaster), and the people were poor, so they called Han Evil Shan to turn to the Han Dynasty for help. Han Zhao Yunzhong, Wuyuan two counties to the valley 20,000 to help. And the Northern Huns, who also suffered from the white plague, because of the distance and unruliness, did not catch a single hair.
After so many years, it is better to kneel and lick! So, Zhizhi was angry, and he didn't follow.
Since he is determined to no longer please the son of the Han family, he naturally has to get his son back first. So Zhi Zhi wrote to the Han court to ask for his son to be sent back to Chang'an, while still expressing his willingness to attach himself to the Han Dynasty. At this time, Zhizhi had already established a new royal court in Jiankun, and the so-called willingness to attach himself to the Han Dynasty was just an empty word.
Logically speaking, the more difficult the power to control, the more protons should be seized, and this is what protons are used for. Zhizhi's move was placed among the tribes on the grassland, and it was not to be thought of. Zhi Zhi didn't have much hope when he wrote the book, he just did his best.
I have to say that Zhizhi took the **** luck, and at this time the reigning was the eleventh emperor of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Liu Zheng of the Han Yuan. Liu Zheng was the first emperor in history to truly respect Confucianism, and it was he who changed the national policy of "ruling by inaction" in the Han Dynasty for more than 100 years, and replaced it with Confucianism, opening a precedent for Confucian governance. What is the Confucian attitude towards foreigners? The inner king and the outer saint, no matter what you did before, as long as you lower your posture, be willing to be soft, willing to kneel and lick, everything is not investigated, and the benefits are great.
Zhang Fang didn't know what Emperor Han Yuan and a group of ministers thought, but he knew that they actually agreed.
In the fourth year of the first century (45 BC), the Han Dynasty sent Gu Ji as a special envoy to escort the son of Zhizhi Shan Yu, Ju Yu Lishou, back to China. As a result, as soon as he arrived at the Jiankun royal court, he was killed by Zhizhi. As for why he did this, whether it was to vent his anger or whether the Han envoy angered him, no one knows.
Zhizhi's move can be described as a great disapproval of the world, so he dared to kill but did not dare to admit it. At the beginning, the Han court only saw Gu Ji not returning, but he did not know that he had been killed, and said that he was detained by the Xiongnu, which had many precedents in the past. It was not until later that some Huns who defected to the Han Dynasty said that they had heard that Gu Ji had been killed, and the Han court was greatly shocked and sent envoys to Jiankun many times to question, but Zhizhi denied all of them. This kind of thing is basically death without proof, and if the king of a country wants to cheat, no one can do anything about it.
Zhi Zhi knew that he had a feud with the Han Dynasty from then on, and once the Han Dynasty knew the truth, he would never forgive, and he knew that Hu Han Xie Shan Yu was becoming more and more powerful, and he was worried day and night that Hu Han Xie Shan Yu and the Han Dynasty would join forces to attack him, and wanted to hide further. At this time, King Kangju wanted to use his strength to deal with Wusun, and Zhi Zhishan Yu was sleepy and met a pillow, so he couldn't ask for it, so he embarked on the road of moving west to Kangju. Unexpectedly, on the way to the west, they encountered a snowstorm, and most of the accompanying subordinates froze to death, and only 3,000 people arrived in Kangju.
However, the Huns are the Huns, even if there are only 3,000 left, Zhizhi still relies on such a few people to attack Dawan in the west and Wusun in the east, so that these two Western Regions powers don't want to. As for the surrounding small tribes, they are even more respectful.
In the end, with the support of the manpower and material resources of King Kangju, Zhizhi also abandoned the nomadic life and felt tent life of the Huns for thousands of years, and built a city on the south bank of Dulai Water east of Kangju. It lasted two years, lost thousands of manpower, and finally became a strong city, called Zhizhi City in the name of the number.
Build a city, rebuild the royal court, and conquer the Quartet...... Zhizhi, who came out of the trough, ushered in the most glorious moment of his life.
The ambitious Zhizhi was obviously unwilling to be only a "Northern Xiongnu Shan Yu", he wanted to reunite the Northern and Southern Xiongnu, he wanted to replenish the troops who had suffered serious losses on the way west, and he wanted to become a real "Xiongnu Da Danyu".
As a result, the "Golden Arrow Messenger" was officially released.
Zhizhi sent a total of 13 envoys to the east, of which six held gilded red bronze arrows as tokens, called "golden arrow messengers"; Seven roads hold white lacquer Hu Yang wooden feather arrow as a token, called "wooden arrow messenger". The mission of this thirteen-way envoy was to coerce and induce the countries of the Western Regions to form an alliance with him, and at the same time to persuade the tribes of Mobei to break away from the Southern Xiongnu and join him under the account of Zhizhi Shan Yu.
The Golden Arrow Envoy is of a high level, and most of them are served by nobles in the tribe, and the envoys are also from the countries of the Western Regions and the Mobei tribe. The Wooden Arrow Messenger is of a lower level, mainly to some small and medium-sized tribes. For example, the tribe of Bu Gusu was formed by a wooden arrow messenger who quietly infiltrated the Han realm and lured it.
And the short and fat bearded man Sanduo, who was killed by Zhang Fang and Qing Yan, was the golden arrow messenger sent by Zhizhi.
