(three hundred and one) Grey Cardinal
Before the October Revolution, Lenin's conception of life in Russia after the Bolshevik victory was not entirely realistic. In his book The State and Revolution, written in the summer of 1917, he also wrote: "...... There will be no police station in the future, let alone a secret police station. β¦β¦ It is quite natural that the exploiters cannot suppress the people without the implementation of the extremely complex apparatus for their purposes, and the people can suppress the exploiters even if they have a very primitive apparatus or, with almost no apparatus at all, without specialized institutions, by the ordinary organization of the armed people......"
Lenin believed that the people would preside over the class courts themselves in the streets, if they wanted. However, after the October Revolution, a completely different system was established than that described in the book The State and the Revolution. The basis of the Soviet state, established after the revolution, was a communitarian myth that declared that the Bolsheviks, as the vanguard of the proletariat, led a popular uprising that reflected not only the Bolsheviks, but also the will of all the Russian people. In reality, the October Revolution was nothing more than a state coup d'Γ©tat by a revolutionary minority that overthrew the dying provisional axe that had replaced the tsarist system. But neither Lenin, nor his followers, could acknowledge this reality. First as an oppositionist, and then as an opposition, and then overthrowing the unpopular political axe, the Bolsheviks still failed to gain the support of the overwhelming majority. In the elections to the Constituent Assembly, which took place immediately after the revolution, the Socialist-Revolutionaries became the main leftist opponents of the Bolsheviks. They received the overwhelming majority of votes, while the Bolsheviks received the support of less than a quarter of the voters. Even in the alliance with the Left Socialist-Revolutionaries, they remained in the minority. They brutally dissolved the Constituent Assembly of January 1919.
Lenin did not anticipate that the new Bolshevik political axe (Council of People's Commissars) would run into such a huge problem as the opposition at home and abroad. He soon saw the need for a "specialized agency" to deal with the problem. The leaders of the Bolsheviks, who had an unwavering belief in the original and infallible surnames of Marxist doctrine, regarded any kind of opposition as counter-revolutionary, regardless of its social roots. So the Revolutionary Military Council, which led the October Revolution, established the All-Russian Special Committee for the Elimination of Counter-Revolution and Sabotage. Dzerzhinsky served as chairman. When the news came that the state civil servants were going to go on a general strike, Lenin took more radical measures. Dzerzhinsky was instructed to "establish a special commission aimed at ascertaining the possible names of the struggle against such phenomena as strikes by means of the most powerful revolutionary measures". Lenin then wrote to Dzerzhinsky, saying: "The bourgeoisie is attempting to commit a heinous crime...... and in his report to the Council of People's Commissars, Dzerzhinsky said: "Do not think that I will seek a just way of the revolution. We don't need justice now, it's a face-to-face war, a war to the death. I propose and request the establishment of a body for a revolutionary reckoning with the counter-revolution. β
The Council of People's Commissars also supported the creation of an all-Russian ad hoc committee for the elimination of counter-revolutionaries and sabotage under the leadership of Dzerzhinsky, the "warrior of the revolution", the well-known and daunting "Cheka" was born.
"Your achievements in China have been affirmed by Comrade Dzerzhinsky."
Probably wanting to show favor to Zhang Yating, the male anti-anti-anti-worker said with a smile, "We are all happy that you were able to successfully break into the top of Chinese politics at the low ebb of the Chinese revolution, although your actions were not approved by the organization in advance, but Comrade Dzerzhinsky praised you very much. You know, in the 'Cheka' no one is absolutely right, only Comrade Dzerzhinsky is absolutely right. β
"You're right. As long as we follow Comrade Dzerzhinsky's instructions, we will be able to achieve victory. Zhang Yating said, "I would like to thank Comrade Dzerzhinsky for his affirmation of my work, which makes me feel extremely honored. β
"It is the happiest thing to work under the leadership of Comrade Dzerzhinsky." The male "Cheka" said with some intoxication.
Although she was already extremely disgusted by this set in her heart, Zhang Yating's face still did not have the slightest abnormality, she didn't say anything more, just smiled and nodded.
At this time, "The Internationale" was playing on the street, listening to the familiar melody, Zhang Yating couldn't help but hum along.
"Get up! Hungry and cold slaves! Get up! People all over the world who are suffering! Full of blood is already boiling! Fight for the truth! The old world beats it down, slaves get up, get up! Don't say we have nothing, we want to be the masters of the world! This is the last struggle, unite, to tomorrow! Internachonel must be realized. This is the final struggle! Unite until tomorrow! Internachonel must be realized! β
"There has never been a savior! Nor does it depend on the Immortal Emperor! It is up to us to create human happiness! We must regain the fruits of our labor and let our minds break out of the cage! Quickly burn that stove red, and strike while the iron is hot to succeed! This is the final struggle! Unite until tomorrow! Internachonel must be realized. This is the final struggle! Unite until tomorrow! Internachonel must be realized! β
ββ¦β¦ The most hateful of those poisonous snakes and beasts have eaten our flesh and blood! Once they are eradicated, the bright red sun shines all over the world! This is the final struggle! Unite until tomorrow. Internachonel must be realized! This is the final struggle! Unite until tomorrow! Internachonel must be realized! β
Hearing that Zhang Yating actually sang "The Internationale" in fluent Chinese, the gay man couldn't help but be very surprised, and he was infected by her passionate and enthusiastic emotions, and let out a surprise exclamation.
"That's how the comrades of the Chinese party organization sing, right?" When Zhang Yating finished singing, the gay man asked with admiration on his face.
"Yes, that's how they sang and shed their blood." Zhang Yating said with a little sadness, and her face was a little red because of excitement at this time.
And the reason why her face has a fever is precisely because of this song.
The first time she heard this song, it was not in the Chinese party, but in Yang Shuoming's bed.
And then there's the "special training" he conducts for himself.
She remembered again when he picked himself up from the couch like an eagle catching a chicken, rushed into the bedroom in three steps and two steps, and threw her heavily on the bed.
He was always willing to tie her hands tightly to the head of the bed with her stockings, and then lift up her long skirt, cover her face, or blindfold her with a silk scarf, and then tie her feet to the foot of the bed, and tear her into a huge "fire" word.
The thrill she gets from this game of being tied up by him is something she has never been exposed to and experienced before.
In particular, her eyes were blindfolded, making her defenseless at every touch he touched. She was always fending off the tingling of those powerful hands while imagining the way the huge weapon that made her want and fear to penetrate into her. Often before he could attack on a large scale, she was already so comfortable that the whole line collapsed......
"I'm sorry." The gay man's apologetic voice pulled her back from her thoughts, "Don't be sad, Angela? Comrade Christina, Comrade Dzerzhinsky will lead us to avenge them. β
Zhang Yating quickly changed her expression from sadness to firmness, and now her skills in this area have become perfect after Yang Shuoming's training.
And only this kind of skill can make her comfortable in the face of many agents in the "Cheka".
Soon, Zhang Yating came to the front of the headquarters building of the "Cheka".
The headquarters of the Cheka is located at 11 Bolya Lubyanka Street in Moscow, which was formerly the seat of an insurance company and a company in London. Probably because of the influence of the terrifying atmosphere brought about by the "Cheka", all those who came here always felt an eerie and oppressive atmosphere.
Zhang Yating, under the guidance of the gay man, soon came to the office of the "Red Sword" Dzerzhinsky.
"It's great that you're back, Comrade Christina." Seeing Zhang Yating come in, Dzerzhinsky, who was sitting at the desk, helped his glasses and said with a friendly smile.
A staff member moved a chair for Ms. Zhang and asked her to sit down facing Dzerzhinsky.
"The comrades of the Chinese Party have suffered great losses, but it does not matter, the flame of revolution is still there, and we must firmly believe that the final victory must belong to us." Dzerzhinsky looked at Zhang Yating and said, "And you firmly believe this, Comrade Christina, so you have not given up, and you have achieved unexpected success." β
Hearing the respected Comrade Dzerzhinsky personally say such amiable compliments, although Zhang Yating tried her best to keep her composure, her body still involuntarily trembled slightly because of her excitement.
Like most of the early leaders of the anti-counterterrorism committee, Dzerzhinsky was not Russian. Born in 1877 into a family of Polish land-bearing intellectuals, he set his ambition as an archbishopric priest at an early age. But it was still in secondary school that he became obsessed with Marxism again, and in 1895 he joined the Lithuanian Social Cooking Party. A year later, he gave up his studies in order to "learn from the people and get closer to them." He soon became a "successful propagandist, he said, who was able to approach the general public, such as at mass meetings, in small inns and in other places where workers gathered." Dzerzhinsky called himself "the sworn enemy of the nationalists." In 1900, he became one of the founders of the Polish and Lithuanian Social Cooker Party, whose leader was Rosa? Luxembourg. This party advocated not Polish reading, but proletarian internationalism and cooperation with Russian Marxists. Any form of compromise will not be tolerated for Dzerzhinsky. Dzerzhinsky once said more than once: "I can't hate with half of myself, I can't love with half of myself, I can't give only half of my soul, I can either give everything I have or give nothing." β
After 20 years of captivity (11 of which were spent in prison), years of exile, wandering, and three escapes, Dzerzhinsky was finally freed and joined the Bolsheviks. First as a delegate to the Polish and Lithuanian Social Bright Cooking Party, then he was elected to the Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party at the Party Congress in the summer of 1917. Later, Dzerzhinsky took an active part in the October Revolution.
During his first year as chairman of the anti-counterterrorism committee, Dzerzhinsky worked, ate, and lived in Lubyanka's own office. Because of his indomitable spirit and strict discipline, he earned the nickname "Iron Felix".
The main means of fighting the counter-revolution by Dzerzhinsky and the Committee for the Suppression of Counter-Revolution were approved by the People's Commissariat on December 20, 1917, namely, "confiscation of property, relocation, revocation of supply certificates, publication of lists of enemies of the people, etc." Terrorists have become the main weapon of the Anti-Counterterrorism Committee. Lenin did not expect that the scale of the opposition he would face after the revolution would be so large, and he soon realized that in order to achieve the dictatorship of the proletariat, it was necessary to create a "system of organized and specialized violence". "In the class struggle, the Bolsheviks could not confine themselves to the past understanding of the legal system and morality of the bourgeoisie." Lenin believed that the failure of the Paris Commune of 1871, the greatest revolutionary uprising of the nineteenth century, was mainly due to the fact that the insurgents pinned too much hope on reconciliation and used too little violence. Not good at using the [***] bourgeoisie, the result is to bury yourself. Lenin harshly criticized "the prejudice of the intelligentsia against the death penalty." He believes that the masses of the people have healthier sanity. As early as December 1917, Lenin praised the masses themselves for presiding over the trials of the "opportunists" ("street courts"). He did everything possible to encourage those who oppose the "class enemy", including terror.
Dzerzhinsky was not a cruel man by nature, and like Lenin, he did get his blood boiled by an ideological hatred of the class from which he came. He told his wife that he had taught himself to defend the revolution "without mercy." He admonished his aides: "We are not fighting against individuals, but we are destroying the bourgeoisie as a class." Nor do you need to look for evidence to prove whether the defendant opposed the Soviet regime, either in action or in word. The first question you should ask is: What class does he belong to? What is the origin? What kind of education do you have? What is your career? The answers to these questions can determine the fate of the accused. This is the meaning and connotation of the 'Red Terror'. β
Dzerzhinsky and his assistants went to the "Red Terror" only because this means were an objective necessity of the class struggle. Some members of the Anti-Terrorism Committee, especially those at various localities, rejoice in the brutality of power and do not value the lofty ideological significance of this method.
In addition to terrorist activities, the Anti-Counter-Terrorism Committee also often used spies in the struggle against counter-revolution. Although Dzerzhinsky had objected to the use of the tsarist practice of annihilation, he soon became an expert in the field himself. At the beginning of 1918, anti-rebel workers often took such actions as sending spies. "The harsh situation of the class struggle calls for swift action to destroy the nests of the counter-revolution. Any misstep can cost the lives of the anti-operatives, but bravery and loyalty are their natural qualities. Some of the anti-rebel operatives, who pretended to be officers of the former tsarist army, "quickly penetrated into the enemy's interior, exposed many members of the White Russian underground and ascertained the location of their secret connections." Within a short period of time, tens of thousands of White Army elements hiding in Moscow and the surrounding areas were identified by the anti-rebel workers and completely eliminated with the cooperation of the Red Guards. The effective means of dealing with the enemies of the Bolsheviks were the well-established methods of terror and the art of sending spies. At the same time, the Anti-Counterterrorism Committee has also infiltrated the most extensive spies into foreign political axe agencies. During the civil war of 1918-1920, terrorist activities and the operation of sending spies had developed considerably.
Like Lenin, Dzerzhinsky was an energetic, passionate, and particularly capable worker, who was willing to sacrifice himself and, of course, others, in order to realize his revolutionary ideals.
"You didn't care about personal sacrifices, that's why you succeeded." Dzerzhinsky then said to Zhang Yating: "You have never taken care of yourself, this is where your strength lies. β
"Yes, Comrade Dzerzhinsky." Zhang Yating nodded, moved her body slightly, and said.
"Our goal is to eradicate all injustice and crime in the world, and one day war and ethnic hatred will disappear from our lives forever. So now, despite the great sacrifices made by the comrades working in China, it is worth it. β
Dzerzhinsky saw that Zhang Yating looked a little reserved, and said with a smile, "'I want to embrace all mankind, pour my love into her, warm her, and wash away the dirt of modern life from her. Do you know who said that? β
Zhang Yating shook her head hesitantly.
"Me." Dzerzhinsky pointed to his nose and laughed.
Listening to Dzerzhinsky's answer, Zhang Yating also laughed.
"Okay, now tell me about that General Yang Shuoming." Dzerzhinsky said, "I've read your report, and I want to know something that you didn't write about in the report. β
"What do you mean? Comrade Dzerzhinsky? Zhang Yating asked.
"What kind of impression does this person give you?" Dzerzhinsky looked at Zhang Yating's eyes and said, "What kind of person do you think he is?" β
