Chapter 1510: Zhu Bajie

In October 1877, the autumn breeze was blowing, and Ying Tianfu finally reached the best season of the year. Pen ~ Fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info?.. Even the perennial smoke that envelops the Jiangnan Industrial Zone, the old town of Nanjing, and the northern foot of the Purple Mountain is blown away by the autumn wind, which makes the whole city full of pleasantly fresh air. Moreover, the good news that the world war was about to end victoriously came, making this capital of the Ming Empire and the Great Chinese Empire full of festive and cheerful atmosphere.

Zhu Guowei, the former king of Dali, who had been depressed for more than a year, was also in a better mood because of this weather. Today, after bathing, he changed into dry clothes, and asked a few servants who had followed him all the way from India, all of whom were soldiers of the Dali Guards beside him, to carry a chaise longue to the courtyard, and lay down comfortably in the shade of a tree, and let people place a desk and four treasures in the study room in front of the chaise longone. Hang up the sign of closing the door and thank the guests, and get ready to create a volume of Buddhist scriptures.

His belief in the Buddha is mostly because of the influence of his mother Concubine Zheng, before the defeat in India, he was only a shallow belief, and he had read some Buddhist scriptures, but most of them were ten lines at a glance, and he had never studied them attentively. It wasn't until he was defeated and captured and lived in the ruins of Nalanda Temple that he calmed down and studied the Buddhist scriptures, and the more he read, the more he felt that the teachings in the Buddhist scriptures were very good. But there are so many scriptures that they are not as simple as Christianity and true God. If you want to compare the scriptures of others, Buddhism can definitely overpower the two religions of Christ and the true God.

However, in the process of actual propagation and struggle, no one compares with Buddhism more than the scriptures, so Buddhism is no match for Christ, the True God, or even Hinduism, and even in India, the base camp of other religions. It can be seen that many scriptures are not useful, and there are too many gods and Buddhas to worship. On the contrary, it is not as easy to proselytize as Christianity and true theology, which have only one scripture.

After all, religion is for the general public. More scriptures and more gods means cumbersome. Too cumbersome is not conducive to dissemination. Moreover, having too many scriptures and gods is not conducive to establishing the authority of religion, and it is not as beneficial as one scripture and one god. Therefore, if Buddhism is to be revived in India and the South Seas, it must carry out a thorough reform, and it must be united with all the Buddhas in the heavens and ten thousand Buddhist scriptures into one.

And the largest Buddha among the Buddhas in the sky is naturally the Buddha Shakyamuni, Buddhism should take Shakyamuni as the sole respect and do not care about others. As for the "Rulai Sutra" that can integrate 10,000 volumes of Buddhism, Zhu Guowei decided to write it himself! Well, he felt like he had attained enlightenment at Nalanda Temple. He could have been the patriarch of Buddhism's revival in India and the South Seas -- but most of Chu Kwok-wai's siblings thought he was crazy......

The creative idea of "The True Sutra" has been in Nalanda Temple as early as Nalanda, which is to retain the essence of Buddhism. The first is equality – of course, the equality of the Dharma nature of all beings, the equality of the Buddha's compassion and joy towards all beings, and equality in the face of karma. It does not mean that a person and a pig should love each other equally, and that a pig being killed and eaten is not unequal, but karma......

Then there is the cycle of cause and effect and rebirth – this is the best part of Buddhism! Zhu Guowei certainly has his own views on this. The cycle of cause and effect and rebirth were mastered by the Buddha, and the followers of the Buddha were of course given preferential treatment, and those who contributed to the spread of Buddhism were given even more preferential treatment. For example, ordaining a monk, such as donating money to Buddhist temples, such as fasting monks, and so on. They can all be rewarded. Even if there is no reward in this life, there will be good rewards in the next life.

Of course. Doing good deeds can also be rewarded, but as long as those who do evil are not opposed to Buddhism, they will not necessarily have evil rewards. Because evil to other people or other things is also part of the cycle of cause and effect, and if someone or something is unlucky, it is because they did something wrong in a previous life, and they will be punished in this life! And even if the evil is not part of karma, the evil can be forgiven by the Buddha by repenting to the Buddha and donating money to Buddhism - how did this son of Zhu Jishi come up with it?

The third is to believe in Buddhism. Only by believing in the Buddha will the Buddha take care of him in the next cycle of cause and effect, and the Buddha will accept repentance and forgive sins.

Fourthly, there is a whole set of Buddhist world systems such as Elysium, Abi Hell and Reincarnation - of course, Elysium is Bliss, Abi Hell is terrible, and it is possible to be reincarnated into Zhu Jishi's family in reincarnation...... As long as the Buddha and his old man are happy, there will be any good things, so you must believe in Buddhism!

After retaining the essence of Buddhism, Zhu Guowei felt that there were too many rules and precepts in Buddhism, and there were naturally few people who believed in this and that. The so-called wine and meat pass through the intestines, and the Buddha's heart is the true meaning. Therefore, in Zhu Guowei's "Rulai Sutra", only eight precepts are prescribed for Buddhists.

1. Do not believe in gods other than the Buddha;

2. Thou shalt not kill - except for those who are in the army;

3. Thou shalt not steal;

Fourth, do not waste;

5. Don't be lazy;

6. Thou shalt not be deceived;

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery;

8. Don't be unfilial to your parents.

The above, commonly known as "Zhu Bajie", not only restricts believers, but also restricts monks and nuns -- monks and nuns are no longer forbidden to marry, drink alcohol, and eat meat, but they prohibit the Sangha from owning any real estate or land outside the temple, and prohibit the temple and Sangha from engaging in production and operation. Monks must live on donations from the faithful or state grants! At the same time, it is stipulated that monks and nuns are not allowed to share the same monastery, and the families of monks are not allowed to live in the temple. Such a regulation has effectively blocked the possibility of most monks and nuns getting married and having children.

Because many of the contents of this "Rulai Zhenjing" were thought out by Zhu Guowei a long time ago, today's creation is almost done in one go. By the evening, the first draft of 10,000 words had been completed.

After sitting in the shade of a tree and groaning for a while, Zhu Guowei found a servant, "Prepare the carriage and horses, I will go to the Hot Spring Palace to meet you." ”

"My lord, Emperor Taishang is busy with affairs, and now it's getting late, it's better to ......" The servant was a housekeeper who had followed Zhu Guowei for many years, and kindly reminded this lost monarch.

"It doesn't matter, as long as I send this "Rulai True Scripture" to me at that time, my father will definitely see me."

The old servant had no choice but to arrange a chariot and horse entourage. Now Zhu Guowei has lost the throne, and he doesn't even have a marquis. However, his mansion in Hot Springs Town was not recovered, the servants were all in charge, and the expenses of the Nuo family were not a problem, after all, his future as king of Java was already known to many people. Since someone came to the door to send money and gifts to make a good match, there are even wealthy families who come to propose marriage, and want to marry their daughter as a concubine, but Zhu Guowei only accepts gifts and does not ask for women.

Zhu Guowei's house was not far from the Hot Spring Palace, but it was only two or three kilometers away, and his carriage entered the palace gate in less than a quarter of an hour. Zhu Jishi had just met Maria at this time. Clementina and Queen Bae sat down at the dining table, and before they could move their chopsticks, they heard that their son was visiting. Sure enough, he didn't refuse to summon him, but asked Takako Kusumoto to invite him in to eat together.

When Zhu Guowei sat down, Zhu Jishi asked, "Why did you enter the palace at this time, but what is the urgent thing to tell your father?" ”

"Erchen has been studying Buddhism these days, writing a scripture, and today I will bring it to my father and emperor." As Zhu Guowei spoke, he took out a stack of manuscripts he had just written, and asked Takako Nanmoto to present them to Zhu Jishi.

"Wrote a scripture?" Zhu Jishi thought to himself, 'Isn't this kind of thing written by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas only being done by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas?' ’

With a question mark in his head, Zhu Jishi took this "Rulai Zhenjing", only to take a few glances, and his face suddenly became complicated.

"Wei'er, did you really write this scripture yourself?"

"It was just written by Erchen today, but it was the path of enlightenment in Nalanda Temple."

"Enlightenment ......" Zhu Jishi laughed, "My son can also enlighten?" Wouldn't it be the second Shakyamuni? ”

"The Buddha was the prince of the small Indian state of Kapilavi, the prince of the world's largest country, and he was also the king of a country, how can he not compare to the Buddha? The Buddha can be enlightened, but why can't his sons be enlightened? Besides, Erchen did not establish Buddhism, but only reformed Buddhism to revive it in India and the South Seas. ”

Zhu Jishi nodded, he still appreciated Zhu Guowei's courage - this Zhu Guowei probably inherited Zhu Jishi's boldness, dared to think and act, and was a little reckless. If you are born in an ordinary family, most of them will meet and break the bloodstream. But if you can be reincarnated, such a character is easy to achieve a career. That's why it's so important...... If Zhu Guowei still has a mother like Mathilde, he should not fail in India!

"Bay, take a look." Zhu Jishi handed the "Rulai Sutra" in his hand to Queen Bayi, who was eating with her head buried in her head - because Zhu Jishi was obsessed with belly dancing, Queen Bayi had worked very hard in the past two days, and her physical strength was not small, and her belly was already hungry. However, when he heard Zhu Jishi's words at this time, he still put down the dishes and chopsticks, took the manuscript and read it. She originally didn't know Chinese, but because she followed Zhu Jishi, she found a teacher and learned Chinese, and now she can speak and write.

"This ...... It looks a bit like the scriptures of true God and Christianity......" Queen Bhai frowned.

"Can it be implemented in East Bengal?" Zhu Jishi asked again.

"No problem," replied Bayi without thinking, "Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism, so Hindus are not particularly rejecting Buddhism, especially the Hindu untouchables are more attracted to the Buddhist idea of equality." ”

"And this?" Zhu Jishi did not understand Buddhism, nor did he know the origin of Buddhism and Hinduism.

"That was 2,600 years ago, and there was a Shamanism in Tianzhu that was opposed to Brahmanism, and there were many sects, and Buddhism was just one of them. The founders of many Shamanic sects were of Brahmanical origin and were therefore considered by Hindus to be branches of Hinduism. However, Buddhism's idea of equality was not good for the rulers, so it did not become the mainstream of Hinduism in the end. ”

"What if I, the ruler, thinks that the reformed Buddhism of the national defense should become the state religion of East Bengal and Donghui?" Zhu Jishi's tone was still light, but the words he said were golden mouthstom and jade words, which could not be objected to! (To be continued.) )
