The full text of "Dumping Song" is 3.33 million, and to be honest, this is far beyond my expectations. After all, for me, this is the first book in the true sense of the word, and when I signed the contract with the editor, I carefully filled in the estimated word count column with two million, thinking that this was my limit, and it turned out that when the main line was rolled out, it was difficult to contain.

The reason why I chose the theme of the last years of the Southern Song Dynasty is because that period of history has always been regarded by many people as the darkest period of history in China, and it is also the most difficult to recover a period of history, which has a certain degree of challenge.

As the first book, there are indeed many shortcomings, such as a big flaw in the control of the timeline (the problem of the main story advancing too quickly has not been raised all at once); For example, in the later stage, there were too many branch expansions and a lot of waste of pen and ink, which led to a lot of effort at the end, and the plot was dragged out again and again······

So I'm going to make a couple of changes in the new book.

The first is to follow the advice of the old authors, reduce the number of words in each chapter by half, and then update it more, so that there is more room for manoeuvre and more choices for the reader.

The second is to try to solve the problem of the timeline being too fast as much as possible, so that the plot makes as much sense as possible.

The third is to make the rest of the characters simple and simple, and try to let each one show his or her most distinctive characteristics.

But there are also a few principles that I think I still have to stick to.

One is about the protagonist, even if it is the protagonist I don't want him to become a tall and full form of character, different people have different personalities and corresponding actions, so I don't intend to make the protagonist too perfect, he should also have his hesitation, hesitation and mistakes.

The second is the question of the tech tree, which will climb slowly, but there will never be any scary new inventions. For example, the invention of firearms and artillery in "The Song Dynasty" is based on the firearms and gunpowder manufacturing industry that was already quite developed in the Song Dynasty at that time, so it is reasonable for them to appear.
