Negotiations failed, and the Ukrainian insurgent army went on the offensive of the partisans. The purpose of the Ukrainian insurgent army's offensive is to prevent the guerrillas from sabotage.

Because the guerrillas were very scattered, at the beginning, several guerrillas suffered heavy losses, and soon a large number of guerrillas organized and fought in a planned way.

The plane that the guerrillas had been waiting for finally arrived, only after the battle had begun. The bullets were delivered to the battlefield, and many of the partisans were already dead. The carbine had no bullets, and a small half of the partisans had almost no combat effectiveness.

The scale of the fighting grew, and the partisans, realizing that the troops of the Ukrainian insurgent army had actually come with more than three thousand people, hurriedly mobilized partisans from all over the country. The battle lasted more than ten days, with three to four thousand dead and wounded on both sides, and the guerrillas finally won the victory. The Ukrainian insurgent army finally could not support it anymore and retreated.

In these ten days, the German army attracted partisans with the Ukrainian insurgents, taking the opportunity to transport troops and munitions. German, Romanian, Hungarian, and dozens of trains of munitions were delivered to the front line in Stalingrad, on the territory of the USSR.

The pressure on the Stalingrad front increased suddenly.

The partisans realized that they had been fooled, it was too late.

The guerrilla command in Ukraine was harshly criticized by Stalin, and the top commander was dismissed on the spot.

On the third day after Stalin severely punished the partisans, about a hundred more partisans surrendered to the Ukrainian insurgent army.

The situation in Ukraine immediately became severe.
