Chapter 89: The First Bomb of Donghui Navy Construction!

In order to make the Donghui Navy form combat effectiveness as soon as possible, instead of the empty shelf that could only bluff people before, Cheng Gong racked his brains during this time.

On the bright side, the Donghui Navy announced that it consists of five fleets: the Pacific Fleet, the Indian Ocean Fleet, the Atlantic Fleet, the Arctic Ocean Fleet, and the Mediterranean Fleet.

When Cheng Gong convened the second enlarged meeting of the first Donghui cabinet meeting, he deliberately omitted a word about the composition of the Donghui navy, and the result naturally really frightened the representatives of the United States, Britain, France, the Soviet Union, Germany, Dongying, Italy, and other countries in Donghui.

You must know that all countries in the world are now trying to find out what the strength and scale of the Donghui Navy really are, how many ships there are, how many military ports and garrisons there are, and where are the military ports and garrisons in this place. But I can check it up, except for the information that I know that the Donghui Navy is transformed from the original PLAN Pacific Fleet, I don't know anything else.

Just one PLAN Pacific Fleet has beaten the Dongying Navy and Army to the point that they have no temper at all, and now the PLAN Indian Ocean Fleet, the PLAN Atlantic Fleet, the PLAN Arctic Ocean Fleet, and the PLAN Mediterranean Fleet have all been replaced with the flags of the Donghui Navy, and it is no wonder that governments can sit still.

It is precisely because of this kind of trick played by Cheng Gong that the major powers have all kinds of suspicions about Donghui.

There is suddenly such a terrifying navy on the world's oceans, why was there no news before? No matter how good the secrecy and intelligence work of the PLAN is, it is impossible to do it so well, right? This is logically unscientific from the perspective of information science and secrecy!

It's not that no one questioned that the Donghui Navy was just an empty shelf that was pulling the big flag and using it as a tiger's skin. It is believed that even if Donghui's scientific and technological strength is strong, but strong science and technology does not mean that industrial production capacity is also strong. If Donghui really has such a large industrial base and skilled workers, why did Cheng Gong get so many immigrants from Huaxia?

However, as soon as this question was raised, it was immediately dispelled by the sudden appearance of four heavy aircraft carriers, sixty-eight destroyers, and the King-class battleship claiming to be private yachts in the waters of the Aleutian Islands in the northern Pacific Ocean.

When all countries learned that these aircraft carriers and destroyers were now being sold by Donghui to Dongying and Germany, the heart that everyone was hanging on slowly let go.

On Paradise Island, when a reporter interviewed Cheng Gong, he asked Cheng Gong why he sold such a powerful fleet.

Cheng Gong's answer at that time was that Donghui was a lover of world peace and had been committed to maintaining world peace and stability, and that at present, the whole world was vigorously developing its economy, and the whole world was filled with a strong atmosphere of peace and friendship. Under such circumstances, there is no need for Donghui to retain a large-scale navy and fleet, thus causing excessive financial pressure and economic burden on Donghui's state finances and the broad masses of the people. Therefore, Benwang only kept an aircraft carrier fleet and a private yacht, and the rest of the ships were sold and exchanged for money to support Donghui's infrastructure construction and people's livelihood and economic development.

For the benevolent and kind act of King Cheng Gong of Donghui who "abolished his martial arts for the sake of maintaining world peace", the governments of the world must be full of praise.

Of course, there are also many people who scold Cheng Gong behind his back for being dizzy, and he will definitely eat bitter fruits in the future.

The outside world is crowded, and Cheng Gong has always been too lazy to pay attention to it.

At this moment, Cheng Gong was staying in the study room of the main building of Cheng's Fort on Paradise Island, facing the laptop on the table, his hands were flying, and he was engrossed in compiling the official establishment and structure of the Donghui Navy.

The Donghui Navy plans to consist of nine fleets, numbered the First Fleet, the Second Fleet, the Third Fleet, the Fourth Fleet, the Fifth Fleet, the Sixth Fleet, the Seventh Fleet, the Eighth Fleet, and the Ninth Fleet.

Under the command of the regional command, the nine fleets are divided into task groups such as the Pacific Fleet, the Indian Ocean Fleet, the Atlantic Fleet, the Ground Ship and Sea Fleet, the Central Command, the Electronic Warfare Command, the Special Operations Command, and the Supply Command.

Donghui Pacific Fleet Command is under the jurisdiction of:

First Fleet Command, responsible for the northern and eastern Pacific Ocean, based at Paradise Island Naval Base in the Aleutian Islands;

The Second Fleet Command, responsible for the western Pacific Ocean and the eastern Indian Ocean, is headquartered at the Dawning Island Naval Base.

The command of the Indian Ocean Fleet of Donghui is under the jurisdiction of:

the Third Fleet Command, which is responsible for the entire Indian Ocean and Southern Africa, with headquarters planned to be located in Madagascar;

The command of the Atlantic Fleet of Donghui is under the jurisdiction of:

The headquarters of the Fourth Fleet, which is responsible for the entire Atlantic Ocean and East Africa, is planned to be located in Guinea.

Donghui Naval Southern Command is under the jurisdiction of:

The command of the Fifth Fleet, which is responsible for the entire South Pacific and Central and South America, is planned to be based in Panama.

Donghui Navy's Mediterranean Fleet is under the jurisdiction of:

The headquarters of the Sixth Fleet, which is responsible for all of Europe and North Africa, is planned to be located in Gaeta, Italy.

Donghui Naval Central Command is under the jurisdiction of:

The Seventh Fleet Command, responsible for the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the east coast of Africa north of Kenya, is planned to be headquartered in Manama, Bahrain.

The Eighth Fleet Command, which is responsible for the coast guard of the whole territory of Donghui, is also known as the headquarters of the Donghui Coast Guard, and is planned to be located in Sydney, Australia.

Donghui Naval Special Operations Command is under the jurisdiction of:

The Ninth Fleet Command, which is responsible for global special operations and amphibious assault missions, is planned to be based in Sumatra, Indonesia.

Donghui Naval Electronic Warfare Command and Supply Command, headquartered on Paradise Island.

In addition, Cheng Gong also set up a special Donghui Naval Command, and the functional commands of all nine fleets (surface, aviation, and submarines) were merged within the naval command, but they could maintain independent command in actual operation.

The number of ground crew personnel has been increased, and a patrol unit for inland river basins has been set up, and a naval expeditionary operations command has been set up to concentrate all ground forces within the naval structure under a complete command system.

The Naval Expeditionary Operations Command includes Naval Engineers, Ordnance Blasting & Disposal, Naval Gendarmerie, Salvage Units and River Patrols.

It is planned to form eleven carrier strike (combat) groups, one expeditionary strike amphibious assault group.

The expeditionary strike amphibious assault group adds attack nuclear submarines and King-class battleships to the amphibious assault ship formation to improve ground attack firepower and anti-submarine capabilities.

Nine new ballistic missile nuclear submarines (SSBNs) and nine cruise missile nuclear submarines (SSGNs) were built.

SSGNs can carry 154 cruise missiles or 50 special operations personnel at a time to improve ground attack and littoral combat capabilities.

Tactical aviation began to transition from the F-4 "Phantom" to the F-14 Tomcat.

Cheng Gong did not intend to create an independent army, but to form a large Marine Corps.

The Donghui Marine Corps is composed of three parts: ground forces, aviation units, and logistics units, and is the main combat force of the Donghui Rapid Reaction Force.

The Marine Corps is mainly composed of four Marine Divisions, four Marine Aviation Wings, and four Service Support Groups, and one Marine Division, one Marine Aviation Wing, and one Service Support Group as reserve forces.

According to Cheng Gong's plan, the Marine Corps adopts a mixed organization method, which is mainly organized into four marine expeditionary units, one reserve unit, six marine expeditionary units, and a number of special task squads.

The Marine Expeditionary Strike Force is the largest mission group in the air-ground joint task force, mainly including a reinforced marine division, a Marine aviation wing (equipped with 416 fighters, transport aircraft, AWACS aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles) and a logistics support group, with a total strength of about 60,000 troops, which will normally be commanded by a lieutenant general.

The 1st Air Cavalry Division of the Donghui Marine Corps, which is subordinate to the 1st Expeditionary Force of the Donghui Marine Corps, is stationed at the Paradise Island Naval Base, and is the main division of the Donghui Marine Corps and the strategic mobile unit of the Donghui National Armed Forces.

The 1st Cavalry Division has a full strength of 20,000 men, and has the 1st, 5th, and 7th Marine Infantry Regiments (each regiment has one headquarters battalion and three infantry battalions) and the 14th Marine Artillery Regiment (four artillery battalions), and the 23rd Army Aviation Regiment (2 attack helicopter battalions, 1 aviation command company, and 1 army aviation squadron), and seven divisional battalions and companies (headquarters battalion, 1st helicopter reconnaissance battalion, 1st combat engineer battalion, 1st army aviation squadron, 1st police general battalion, 1st anti-chemical warfare company, and 1st military police company)

The main equipment of the division is as follows:

348 Mi-28 attack helicopters, 238 Mi-24 attack helicopters, 308 V-22 transport aircraft, 167 V-22 command helicopters, 36 AD-1 attack aircraft, 8 A-10 attack aircraft, 24 AC-130U multipurpose gunboat aircraft, 45 Predator UAVs, 3 EV-22 electronic warfare rotorcraft aircraft, 108 Javelin anti-tank missile launchers, 72 155-mm M777 ultra-light howitzers, 24 90-mm recoilless guns, 60 107-mm mortars, 36 "Avenger" anti-aircraft missile systems and 24 Land Shield 730 anti-aircraft guns, 5281 radio stations of various types, 4657 various night vision devices, 999 40-mm M203 grenade launchers, 8 M9 armored combat engineering vehicles.

The 2nd Cavalry Division of the Donghui Marine Corps is subordinate to the 2nd Expeditionary Force of the Donghui Marine Corps. It is a mobile assault force of the Marine Corps of the Indian Ocean Fleet and the main division of the Donghui Strategic Reserve.

The division has 20,000 men, under the jurisdiction of the 2nd, 6th, and 8th Marine Infantry Regiments (each with one headquarters battalion and three infantry battalions) and the 13th Marine Artillery Regiment (with three artillery battalions), as well as the 24th Army Aviation Regiment, plus eight divisional battalions and companies (the Headquarters Battalion, the 2nd Helicopter Reconnaissance Tube, the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, the 2nd Army Aviation Brigade, the 2nd Police Battalion, the 2nd Chemical Defense Company, and the 2nd Military Police Company). The armament of the division was the same as that of the 1st Marine Division.

The 3rd Cavalry Division of the Donghui Marine Corps, subordinate to the 3rd Expeditionary Force of the Donghui Marine Corps, is a mobile assault force of the Marine Corps of the Atlantic Fleet, with a total of 20,000 people, under the jurisdiction of the 3rd, 4th, and 9th Marine Infantry Regiments (each with one headquarters battalion and three infantry battalions) and the 15th Marine Artillery Regiment (with four artillery battalions), the 26th Army Aviation Regiment and eight divisional battalion companies (the headquarters battalion, the 3rd helicopter reconnaissance tube, the 3rd combat engineer battalion, the 3rd Army Aviation Squadron, the 3rd Police General Battalion, the 3rd Chemical Defense Company and the 3rd Constitutional Company). The armament of the division was the same as that of the 1st Marine Division.

The 5th Cavalry Division of the Donghui Marine Corps, subordinate to the 5th Expeditionary Force of the Donghui Marine Corps, is a mobile assault force of the Marine Corps of the Mediterranean Fleet, with a total of 20,000 men, under the jurisdiction of the 10th, 11th, and 12th Marine Infantry Regiments (each with one headquarters battalion and three infantry battalions) and the 16th Marine Artillery Regiment (with four artillery battalions), and 6 battalions directly under the division (the headquarters battalion, the 5th helicopter reconnaissance tube, the 5th combat engineer battalion, the 5th Army Aviation Squadron and the 5th communications battalion). The armament of the division is the same as that of the 1st Marine Division.

The 4th Marine Division of the Donghui Corps, as a reserve division, was planned to be stationed on the mainland of Dawn Island.

At present, not only are the five Marine Divisions fully staffed, but also the five air wings, five logistics support groups, and five special forces units assigned to the expeditionary strike force.

In other words, Cheng Gong now has nearly 350,000 troops at his disposal. However, this does not include the Navy's nine major fleets, 12 carrier-based aircraft air wings, five air groups and 24 flight wings under the Donghui Air Combat Command, and two air groups and 15 flight wings under the Air Mobility Command.

If all of them are combined, the total number of troops under Cheng Gong's control will reach as many as 1.3 million. However, there is still a very large shortage of troops, and there is a serious shortage of naval and air force personnel, so for the time being, we can only make up the marine forces and unify the island of New Guinea.
