Master Fa Xian

Fa Xian (334-420), a native of Wuyang, Pingyang County, Sizhou of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (now Linfen District, Shanxi), is said to be a native of Xiangyuan (now Xiangyuan, Shanxi) in Shangdang County, Bingzhou. He is a famous monk in the history of Chinese Buddhism, an outstanding Buddhist innovator, the first master in China to go overseas to learn scriptures and seek Dharma, and an outstanding traveler and translator.

As early as 399, Fa Xian and others set out from Chang'an, through the Western Regions to Tianzhu, traveled to more than 20 countries, collected a large number of Sanskrit classics, lasted 14 years, and returned to China in the ninth year of Yixi.

Fa Xian and Xuanzang introduced Buddhist culture into China, which had a great impact on Chinese history and culture.

(The almighty Du Niang quoted above)

Well, this miscellaneous talk is conceived to let the master change the course of the book, and let him go south into ancient India, regardless of the time and direction.

Ancient India in 401 was ruled by the Gupta dynasty, a golden age in ancient Indian history, ruled by the son of Shamadhara Gupta II (380-413).

The king of Chaori was wise and powerful, the dynasty army in its heyday was as many as one million, Buddhism was prosperous, the people lived and worked in peace and contentment, and the Han Dynasty was regarded as the heavenly dynasty, and in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, he wanted to attack from the sea, but because of the rebellion in the country, it was gone.

I wrote this because the next few chapters will involve this character, so that he can bring some changes to the protagonist, so, nag a few words!
