Why "superior"

The title of the book is called "Rebirth of India's Superiority", but because I am afraid of ruining the story, I don't explain in detail why Brahmins are superior in the text, so I will open a single chapter in the work to explain my views on this.

First of all, a little digression.,The experience of writing this book can be called a twist and turn.,At first, I talked about this idea with the old editor Lieshou.,But he left as soon as I started writing.,And then I wrote and opened my hair to the new editor Midsummer.,Fortunately, it's also over the internal sign.,But when I sent a book of 10,000 words and was going to find him to sign.,Now the starting point is regrouped.,Midsummer to be in charge of fantasy.,So I had to find the new editor in charge of history.,Fortunately, the editor of the egg is also very good at talking.,Finally, the book was officially signed yesterday afternoon.。

The original inspiration for writing this book actually came from a female novel, that is, Mu Dingbai's "Dry This Bowl of Ganges Water", Mu Dingbai's research and investigation of Indian folklore and historical mythology are impressive, this attitude is very rare among male historical writers, which also stimulated my interest in Indian themes. (Actually, there is also a book "Indian Entertainment" that is also written in India, but since I don't like to read entertainment texts, I didn't read this book, so it is inconvenient to make any comments here.) )

In the hearts of our people, India has always been an open nation, a wonderful country, many of their customs and thinking logic make us feel difficult to accept, especially the contrast to make people feel incredible The gap between the rich and the poor makes us feel dumbfounded, the high-caste rich are extravagant and wasteful, and the low-caste poor are poor but content with the status quo and do not want to change, there are many reasons for this phenomenon, Apart from poverty caused by external historical causes such as British colonial aggression and primary differentiation caused by uneven development of the industrial and agricultural sectors, caste is the most special cause of the gap between rich and poor in Indian society, and it is a hierarchical system peculiar to Hindu society.

Although the current Indian government does not legally recognize the existence of the caste system, the power of tradition is terrible, and India has not experienced a thorough anti-feudal movement, so the traditional consciousness in people's minds is stubborn, and the caste system has penetrated very thoroughly in all corners of the whole society. In addition, Hinduism also plays a very big role in maintaining the caste system, Hinduism is the state religion of India, and their holders are Brahmins, Brahmins are the highest castes in India, and Hinduism claims that the lower castes/no castes are retribution in the previous life, and there is atonement in this life. Therefore, the poorer the poor in India, the more they accept their fate, the more devout they worship the gods, and they will not complain about the heavens and others, let alone have the mentality of dividing the people and hating the rich.

Because China is very anti-feudal, it is easy for everyone to have the idea of "changing fate with both hands", and everyone takes this idea for granted, but a country and people who are bound by old ideas, old systems, and old rituals and religions, in the face of poverty, they can only think of "this is fate", or "this is the retribution for not doing good deeds in the previous life", or "I can't challenge the order of the caste", or "I dare not rebel against the authority of the landlords", or "I dare not rebel against my parents", or "I dare not challenge gender discrimination" Even if a few people want to change their fate, they will face great pressure because of the actual caste oppression, land dependency system, or gender discrimination, and even be stoned or burned to death because of his deviance. The so-called "new democratic revolution" is actually aimed at these things.

Some friends may think that people should not be equal, why are some people born superior to others, and some people are destined to be discriminated against, and no smart person wants to change all this?

In fact, of course, there are people who want to reform, but there is no major change in the mainstream consciousness of society. Unlike China, India has gone through many turbulences and many ** movements in the past 100 years, so China's anti-feudalism is very thorough, and people's thinking has been liberated. However, India has not undergone such a radical transformation, and the remnants of the feudal era have maintained their social form. Although a few people wanted to rebel, the majority of the society as a whole subconsciously maintained the caste system. Even many oppressed people take it for granted.

Moreover, India has fallen into a strange circle: those who have access to higher education are people from the upper caste class, who know advanced ideas but still defend their own interests, so they will never reform. And those in the lower strata who have no caste are simply not adequately educated, so they are even more ignorant. Even if a small number of people have received higher education and understand all this, a small number of people alone cannot overthrow this society at all, and a large part of them have been bought and transformed by high-caste people, so they are naturally even more powerless to change the status quo.

In such a context, it is no wonder that there will be a phenomenon of high caste superiority, so I think it is actually quite interesting to write about the story of this country, so there is such a book now, and please continue to support, a little hand that has not been collected to give a collection, and those who have been collected robbed all your recommendation votes!
