64, Life and Death Puzzle
After a long and painful day, Hoffa got up from the ground, picked up the glass balls that held the Nightmare God and two black and green mistletoe, pushed the door open, and walked back to the top of the turret.
When night came again, he was like a fish in water, the three-ring scar on his chest was as vivid as fire, not only all the wounds were healed in a blink of an eye, but even his spirit became extremely full. Only this time, he didn't dare to have the slightest luck.
For some reason, Mance didn't come to stop him while he was fighting Tom, he didn't believe that his Transfiguration could trap him for half a day, and this brief calm was more like the calm before the storm to him, which was extremely unsettling.
There was not a single person in the dark turrets and cabins. The only sound was the slight crackling of the soles of his feet on the ground. If it were any other time, he would have been glad to be in such an environment, after all, night and darkness were wonderful protection for him.
But after all, he had seen the strange image of the four Mances moving together a few hours ago, and now that it was empty, he was more and more worried that he would meet a group of Mances around the next corner, and then turn the clock to daylight.
As if to confirm his thoughts, he walked to a corridor on the third deck where soldiers used to rest. A little girl's head poked out of the small room. With two small pigtails, it looks very cute.
Hoffa immediately stopped moving, his figure blurred for a moment, and even if he disappeared into the hallway, he would rather rush out of Mance than encounter anything beyond his expectations.
After a while, in another room. Another little boy's head poked out, and they stared curiously at the place where Hofa's phantaselage had disappeared.
"I hear you, big brother?" the little boy asked, his timid voice echoing through the empty hallway.
After the fully vigilant Huo Fa saw the appearance of the two people clearly, he was stunned.
"You're ......," he crouched down to take a closer look, one of the children Chloe had taken from France.
"Why are you here, it's dangerous here. β
Hoffa hurriedly looked around and whispered, "Why don't you find a place to hide." β
The boy shook his head and emerged from the small room, Hofa guessing that they had been hiding under the soldier's bed.
"Mr. Officer is gone," said the little boy, "and he was gone an hour ago, and we don't know where he went." β
"Mr. Officer?" Hofa's eyes widened, a little surprised, "You're talking about Mance MΓΌller?"
"Well, that's his name. The little girl bumped the boy on the shoulder unhappily: "Why do you call him sir, so respectful." β
"He's so nice, he gives me candy every day when he's with us. The little boy said honestly.
"Phew, wouldn't it be nice to give you candy, he looks like a bad guy at first glance, and you sold you and you gave him the money!" the little girl knocked the little boy on the head.
The little boy covered his head aggrievedly.
Before he had time to think about why the little boy would call Mance Mr. Mance, Hoffa immediately thought of Chloe. Could it be that while he was waiting for dark, Mance took Chloe with him? Damn, why was he so slow!
"Hey, do you see the nun?" he asked, crouching down and taking the little boy by the shoulder.
The little boy touched Hoffa's arm sensibly and comforted: "Don't worry, Sister Chloe is fine, she is waiting for you, but she can't move, you have to help her." β
Didn't you take the nun with you?" Hofa breathed a sigh of relief, and he quickly touched the little boy's head.
"Then gather all your men, and I'll take you out, and we'll get out of here. β
"No, Sister Nun has no way to see you. β
The little girl on the side said suddenly.
"Why?"
Hoffa was a little confused for a moment. The little boy had just said that Chloe was waiting for him, but why did the little girl say that Chloe couldn't see her.
"Do you have anything to give us. The little girl stretched out her hand and looked at him without blinking.
"What do I have for you?" said Hoffa, looking at the little girl in confusion.
"I can't tell you. The little girl said, still holding out her hand, her expression a little more cunning than the boy next to her.
"If you have something to say, what is the sale. Hoffa frowned and pinched her bun face. The hand was very soft, and she pouted unhappily, looking like an angry little pufferfish.
"Forget it. Hoffa folded his arm and said, "I don't have any candy, take me to Chloe." β
The little girl withdrew her palm and shrugged. "Forget it, if you think it through, you can give it to us at any time, but you can't get out of this ship. β
She deliberately bit the word "think clearly" very hard.
Looking at the mysterious appearance of these two children, Hoffa was thoughtful. He narrowed his eyes and asked, "Let's not talk about this mess, what about the others, why are you two alone?" I remember that there were more than a dozen children brought back from France. β
"Oh, they're ......" the little boy subconsciously answered his question, but the little girl suddenly covered her mouth.
I saw the little girl hold up a finger on the little boy's mouth: "Shhhh β
The little boy who looked quite honest was a little scared, so he had to nod vigorously and look serious, "Okay, I won't say it." β
The little girl shook her hair and hooked her little finger at Hoffa, "Let's go, I'll take you to Sister Chloe." β
Then, hand in hand, they ran up the empty staircase. Hoffa ran behind the two children, his head turning rapidly, and he felt as if he vaguely knew something, but he didn't dare to confirm it.
The path he had taken with the female vampire had been destroyed by the fierce fighting, and the little girl and boy had taken Hoffa up the turret up another staircase, they must have been here for a long time and knew it well.
Reaching the top floor, Hoffa re-established himself in front of the room where Chloe's blood had been drawn, and he remembered that it was here that he had seen visions of Grindelwald.
The little girl said, "We'll send you here." β
"Where are you going?" asked Hoffa.
"It's not about you. The little girl said.
Hoffa frowned and was unhappy, "Hey, children should listen to adults and don't run around!"
"You're not much older than us. β
The little girl stuck out her tongue, and her expression became serious again: "Remember, big brother, everyone's life is in your speechlessness. β
With that, she nudged Hoffa, and she pulled the little boy down another dark staircase with a thud, disappearing into the depths of the dark and complex battleship.
"Hey!"
Hoffa was lying on the staircase, not chasing, not chasing.
He was wondering where the little boy and the little girl had gone, when a cry for help came from the room at the top of the turret: "Can anyone hear me?
It was Chloe's voice, and Hoffa hurriedly put the little boy and girl aside, and hurried into the room where Chloe's blood was drawn.
The room was the same as before, except that it was without the strange and hazy smoke it had been before, and everything was clearly visible, with countless ticking meter dials, strange blood-pumping machines, cold and hideous steel seats, and pale nuns sitting in chairs, except for the absence of Mansdow.
The stone in his heart fell to the ground, and he walked up quickly, and cut off all the tools that bound Chloe. She slumped, her arms limp around Hoffa's neck, her head resting on Hoffa's shoulder.
"Are you alright? Her voice was barely audible, but the first thing she did was to care about others.
"I'm fine. Hoffa was so sad that he felt as if he had forgotten something he didn't want to forget, and he patted Chloe on the back, "Hold on, I'll send you back." β
"Mance is out, we're going to stop him. "The nun's aura became a little disordered," he... He took my blood and would... It will completely disrupt all the order of this plane..."
"Does it have to be now?" Hoffa pushed Chloe away from his shoulder, looking at her worriedly, her face not a little bloody, even her lips were white.
"Only now, we only have one chance, if we wait until daylight......" She looked into Hoffa's eyes, her lips pursed, and she stopped talking.
"Chloe?"
Chloe ......
He called the nun twice, but the other party did not answer, but stared at him with wide eyes, and there was too much indescribable meaning in those eyes, as if it was a pleading, it seemed to be a hint, and there was a deep fear.
Hoffa looked around, and there was no one around. But there was still a biting chill that was breathtaking. It felt like he had experienced it once when he was surrounded by four mances at the same time, and it was a sense of being watched without being hidden, as if no matter what he did, he could not escape the fate of being scrutinized, and there was no privacy at all.
At this moment, a unique Ravenclaw intuition rose in his head, and he seemed to be back in Hogwarts, in front of the common room door of the Ravenclaw pitch-black tall tower.
There, before entering the common room, the Eagle Ring would give him a riddle, and only those who had guessed the Eagle Ring puzzle would eventually be able to enter the Ravenclaw common room. There is also a hidden puzzle here, but the author of the problem is unknown.
All people's lives are in my silence.....
Thinking of the two strange little boys and little girls, and then looking at the strange appearance of the nun in front of him, Hoffa closed his eyes, what the hell were they talking about.
"What about the children?" he asked, pretending to be relaxed, as he opened his eyes after a few seconds.
"They were locked up, and when I recovered a little bit and was able to walk, I went and let them out. The nun said.
"I see.....," he nodded, "I see." Actually, I think the same way, but I'm afraid that your body won't be able to hold on. β
"I'm healthy. The nun said stubbornly.
"I know. β
Hoffa tried to pull her up, but found that her legs were bent and hung on his shoulders, and he couldn't walk upright, so he had to hold her on her thighs and carry her on his back.
The nun lay on his back, and he carried the nun out of the door, because of the blood drawn, and because she was already very thin, she probably weighed only about eighty pounds at the moment. This is no different from a leaf at night to Hoffa.
However, he felt that a whole Mount Tai was pressed on his back, and every step was extremely difficult, as if he was walking not on the ground, but on a tightrope. There is life on the tightrope, and there are thousands of cliffs on both sides, and if you are not careful, you will be crushed and your bones will be crushed, and you will never recover.
Finally, when he reached the door, he was a little overwhelmed by the invisible pressure, and he turned his head to look at the nun, who also looked at him, her lips pursed, and she did not say a word.
All people's lives are in my silence......
He thought of Mance quietly leaving, the little girl who had been released, and her outstretched palms.
"Wait. β
Hoffa said slowly.
Chloe's voice on her back trembled and asked, "What's wrong?"
Hoffa didn't answer, he looked straight at the two stairs in front of him, one on the left, the one was the one that the little girl and the little boy had brought him up, and the light on this staircase was green and intact.
And the other is the staircase where the little boy and the little girl leave. The lights on this staircase were shattered, pitch black, and looked eerie.
"You want to go out there. He asked the nun gently.
Without hesitation, the nun pointed to the left.
Hoffa sighed softly, gritted his teeth and smiled bitterly, "It's really difficult." β
With that, he walked down the turret through the passage with the flashing green lights, and before leaving, he threw out the black mistletoe he had obtained from killing Tom Riddle and discarded it as if it were a shoe.
