Sassoon Villa has a construction area of 800 square meters and belongs to the English country style pointed garden house. The main building is horizontally located in the north, the bedroom, kitchen and stove room are located at the back of the main house, and the garage, stables and flower room are placed on the west side. The main house is a brick and wood structure facing north and south, with two floors in the east and one floor in the middle and west. There is a large platform at the entrance, the entrance is a corridor, with a rectangular hall of 200 square meters, the east of the hall is the dining room, the back is the study, and the second floor is the bedroom and living room.

The interior decoration is all made of oak and teak, the doors and windows are specially made of wood with boil scars, and the rough axe horn traces are retained. The main house is made of exposed brown ink oil smoke wood to frame the roof trusses, the roof is a steep slope roof, covered with red tiles, and the walls are pink and yellow, with bright and elegant colors. The main house is planted with plantains, podocarpus, locust and other trees on both sides, the south side is a large lawn, the northwest corner of the lawn is planted with two side-by-side plane trees, swing chairs are placed below, and the villa is surrounded by a tall wall.

It's a mansion with the flavor of an English country house. Sassoon villa adopts irregular plan, the south faces north, there is a large platform at the south entrance, there is an inner corridor after entering the door, you can enter the hall, the middle part and the west side are single-storey buildings, which are equipped with a study, a living room, a dining room, the east is a second floor, the upper floor is a Sassoon bedroom, the interior furniture is mostly made of oak and teak, and the exquisite architectural hardware is handmade, which is very precious.

This villa, Victor Sassoon, was a great investment and even had the name of the Garden of Eden when it was built. Even after nearly a hundred years, it is a classic of architectural art that is extremely difficult to surpass.

For the rest of his life, he was very interested in the richest man in Shanghai, who had participated in World War I and was disabled. He naturally knew that after Shanghai was occupied by the Japanese, Sassoon was not optimistic about the situation in Shanghai, and began to withdraw capital from Shanghai in 1938.
