In general. The combat-ready troops, that is, the group army, are short of manpower, so they draw elite troops from the garrison to replenish them, and the garrison troops are short of manpower. It is replenished from the elite of the military regiment, and if there is a shortage of people in the military regiment, it can be replenished from the elite of military service, and if it is during the war, it can be recruited directly from the civilian population, and priority is given to retired elites.

Wang Jundao's new military service law also stipulates that all healthy male citizens between the ages of 22 and 35 must serve in the reserve, and women can also voluntarily choose to serve in the reserve.

There are also strict regulations on the length of service for non-commissioned officers in the Military Service Law: four years for junior non-commissioned officers (corporal and sergeant), six years for intermediate non-commissioned officers (sergeant and sergeant major of the fourth class), eight years for senior non-commissioned officers, and the retirement age for all non-commissioned officers must not exceed forty-five years!
